The home button on my iphone 3G is not working.
. It used to be that i only had to press a little harder than usual but now it completely stopped working. I never dropped it or got it wet. What do i do? Thos is driving me insane.
Hi, I had the same thing with my iphone 4 not so long ago. It had a problem and i sent it to the apple store (it had lesss than a year so i didn't pay). If you send it and you have apple care then they would send you a new one for free.

Inserting the lightning connector and applying a little bit of pressure up under the Home button.
Some folks have cleaned the Home button with a few drops of isopropic alochol caring to not get it on your screen. This is only going to get things working again if it has been gummed up through normal use
If you are still within the one-year warranty or extended it with Apple Care don't try any of these steps just take it to Apple. -

If the basics from the User Guide have all been tried (restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new) and you still have problems, then you've done all the troubleshooting you can do. You'll need to bring your phone into Apple or an authorized service provider in your area.

I have a similar issue I could use help with. I just upgraded to a iPhone 4S and received my new phone but there is no Greeting buttong at all. When I go to the phone icon, then the voicemail icon the voicemail icon automatially dials an A.T.& T voicemail number - there is no Greetings on the top lefthand corner. My cousin has the same phone and she has Greetings typed at the top of her voicemail page and she can click on it and then there is a place to leave a voice mail message. The upshot is, I have no outgoing message and nothing for people to hear and no way for people to leave messages. Any suggestions?

I bought an iPhone 5 in the US and brought it back to Brasil. Now I'm trying to use Siri, but once I press the "home" button "voice control" appears and it only works for me to call my contacts. The manual guide tells me to go to Settings>General>Siri. At the General menu "Siri" doesn't appear. What should I do to set Siri up if it doesn't appear at settings>general?

The home button on my iphone 4 has raised up on one side.
The home button on my iphone 4 (which is only 4 months old) has raised up on one side, not by lots but it is no longer flush with the case and if you run a finger or nail across it you can feel the edge of it. Is this enough to send it back into apple for fixing? (i am concerned that it could move more epecially once the waranty period is up) it still functions perfectly but when i feel the buttons on my friends iphone 4 phones they are perfectly flush, its just that you expect the phones to be perfect and I feel it should be repaired. Im not after a new phone but just for the button to be reset into the case.
Anyhelp?If you feel that it is defective then you can make an appointment at the genius bar or call Apple support. If they determine it to be defective, then they will replace.

i just update my iphone 4s to ios 7.0.4 and update my macbook pro to ios maveric. Now, my iphone 4s does not sound form the speaker and the volume button up and down also does not work.I could hear the sound through the earphone. Also the airplay disapear. Please advice how to downgrade to the previous OS

The home button on my iPad is no longer working. To get to a new screen or App I have to turn the iPad off and then restart it.
Try calibrating the home button and see if that works. If it doesn't, you could also try restoring with iTunes. Try this first.
Calibrate the home button
1. Open a stock iOS app, such as Contacts
2. Press & hold the sleep/wake button at the top of your device until the red slider control appears.
3. Immediately release the sleep/wake button and press & hold the home button. Hold until the red slider disappears. -
