The ibooks doesn't support pdf chinese content ?

1.Chinese words are shown as symbols of no significant instead of the right word on the ibooks when it is of PDF's content. I guess it is about the iPad's front support.
Are there any good solutions?
2.Some PDF's pages of picture are show of black.

iOS does of course have full support for Chinese display and input, even the OS is localized in Chinese, so it is not lacking Chinese fonts. It is probably an issue with the pdf or the pdf reading routines.
You can report the problem to Apple here:
http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html
Be sure to give them details about the pdf and tell on what kind of machine with what kind of software it does display correctly.

JPEG2000 for a digital projector? The option you see in Compressor, or the QT export is NOT the format they need. You can only make that with special software. I had that asked of me to deliver, I tried using Compressor and the JPEG2000 codec...and it wasn't right. Ended up sending it out of house.

We have been working with timesten client on a windows, we had not have any problem, the number of clients had not connect more than 80 clients, but today we connected 125 clients and we got this error directly to the client application.

So we don't know if this error could happen because the number of connections were exceeded, but when this has happened the error messages is different.
Let me tell you that the application client was developed using C#. So could it be that the C# on .NET could have a instruction that the timesten ODBC could not manage?

Is this problem reproducable? i.e. Does it occur whenever you get close to 125 clients connecting to TimesTen? Next time when it happens again, can you check to see whether you can establish a new client/server connection locally on the TimesTen server machine?
Each TimesTen Client connection requires one server process, and by default, a server process is spawned when a client requests a connection. It is possible that you may have too many processes running on the server, hence it cannot spawn additional server processes to handle the new connections. The good news is that in 7.0.3, the TimesTen server is now multi-threaded and each process can handle multiple client connections (this number is configurable), so it's possible to have fewer server processes for the same number of client connections compared to previous releases.
Please check out "Specifying multiple connections to the TimesTen Server" in the 7.0.3 Oracle TimesTen Operations Guide for more information on how to turn on the multithreaded mode.

Since the D-Link DCS-932L is accessible on the local network via a web browser, you should be able to access this camera from the Internet if your router has a publically accessible Public IP address. If your ISP provides you with a dynamic Public IP address, you may want to use a DDNS service to make it easier for you to locate your camera whenever your ISP changes your IP address.
Start the AirPort Utility > Select the 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBSn).
Select Manual Setup.
Verify that Connection Sharing = Share a public IP address is selected on the Internet > Internet Connection tab.
Select Advanced, and then, select the Port Mapping tab.
Click the plus sign to add a new port mapping.
For Service, leave the default; this will change to "Custom" once you start entering port values.
In the Public UDP Port(s) and Public TCP Port(s) boxes, type in a 4-digit port number (e.g., 8888) that you choose. In the Private IP Address box, type the internal IP address of your camera. In the Private UDP Port(s) and Private TCP Port(s) boxes, enter the appropriate port values that should have been provided to you by the camera manufacturer. Click Continue.
In the Description box, type a descriptive name like "Internet Camera Access," and then, click Done.

CAN CF8 REPORT BUILDER SUPPORT PDF CHINESE VERSION FILE?

Use something other that the IFRAME.
Some alternatives I can think of:
- use real FRAME's instead of the IFRAME - divide your page into sections with a FRAMESET with a couple of frames, one for your main content, the other for the content your are generating that you were putting into the IFRAME
- use something like the css style 'overflow:auto' on a SPAN or DIV tag - set the size/dimensions of the section to smaller than the total content and let the overflow style wrap and scroll the content for you (this will look almost identical to the IFRAME, although I don't know whether Netscape supports this either... you'll have to check)
- write the content straight into the page body?

Am having problems with my Zeppelin music player and iPod classic. The Zeppelin, bought Dec '12, and the iPod, bought same time, used to work fine but now when I attach iPod to Zeppelin I get a message that says the iPod doesn't support the accesory!

I bought a Zeppelin music player and iPod classic in December 2012, and all went well until I last synched the iPod with iTunes, and now I get a message saying that the iPod doesn't recognise the attached accessory when I try to connect it to the Zeppelin. I did recently update to the latest iTunes version-could this be the problem, and if so how do I cure it? All help appreciated.

It's still charging when you plug it in. That just means it won't play music out the speaker. If that's what you were looking to do, they have speakers for iPods.

I was just told by a Lenovo CS rep that the W520 doesn't support 6Gbps for "data integrity" reasons

The main HDD bay in my W520 drops from 6Gbps to 3Gbps shortly after boot. The speed drop is triggered when I start to pass data over the port. I can take the same drive (Vertex 3 240GB) and put it in the ultrabay and I get full 6Gbps speeds. It seems pretty obvious to me that this is a problem with the SATA controller on the laptop's motherboard (my specific laptop, not the whole run; other prople have the same drive with no issues), but after arguing with Lenovo support for over a week now, a customer satisfaction rep just sent me this email:
"I was able to confirm with are technical support that SSD transfer rate for the W520 ThinkPad is 3,0GB/s (chipset has the capability but we limit it for data integrity). So, your system is working as designed.
One bay for removable devices, Ultrabay Slim-compatible, 12.7mm high, bottom access
Some: Solid State Drive (SSD) / SATA 3.0Gb/s, 2.5" wide, 7mm high
Some: HDD / SATA 3.0Gb/s, 2.5" wide, 7mm or 9.5mm high, Active Protection System™
All: removable, upgradable, supports the second disk, Shock Mounted Hard Drive"

Obviously, these numbers refer to the speeds of the drives that Lenovo sells, not the speed that the port itself is capable of. Additionally, there are dozens of people that have confirmed that the main bay is capable of 6Gbps speeds. I also confirmed this with several sales reps before I purchased the laptop.
How should I handle this? He is going to have his tech support people call me back tomorow, but I seriously doubt they're going to be very helpful.

I used Firefox to download a digital certificate. I later learned that the provider doesn't support Firefox for Mac, and I can't find the certificate. Can you help?

Did that certificate get installed or did you download and saved the certificate?

IE11 no longer recognised stating the site doesn't support older browsers and to update.

How can IE11 not be recognised. I've seen this on other sites and would not have expected to see it at Adobe sites, especially the Creative Cloud site. Rendered the whole Cloud useless for Windows 8 users.

You may be having no problems on W7, but on Windows 8.1 (update one) no updated CC site will play with IE11, they detect it as being IE8. I'm using AGV internet security 2014 and their firewall as you asked, but can't see how this has anything to do with Adobe websites wrongly identifying the browser. All was working perfectly well until they changed things. I shouldn't be having to tweak things this end to accommodate Adobe they should ensure their site detect all mainstream browsers correctly as thousands of other sites do.
It's becoming clear to me that Windows whatever its version, is just seen as an irritant to Adobe and they would much prefer to just develop for Apple, its products and devices. Why they just can't be honest I don't really know. But then again maybe I do.
Taken me 20 mins just to login to the forums to respond too you trying both IE11 and Firefox, I just give up.

Why doesn't Adobe market an ereader device that supports PDF?

Why do I have to have my books converted to epub format, when customers would just as soon read pdfs, which would be much easier for me to create? I'm told it's because Kindle and the rest of the players aren't supporting pdf. So why doesn't Adobe support it and market it as an ereader platform? They could make money with ereader devices and marketing channels that do support pdf. Adobe's response was to bring out their ereader software, but there are too many of those platforms already. PDF on the other hand has the biggest customer base in the world. Is Adobe missing out here, being focused too exclusively on software and not aware of the kind of opening Amazon jumped on? Kindle has come from nowhere to dominate the market. Adobe could have a good share by marketing a pdf reader. Granted PDF doesn't wrap lines, but if you make the pages small, to fit in an ereader window, there are a lot of advantages to having page numbers too.

I'm also waiting for this feature.

Mac Mini Server Doesn't Support Duel Thunderbolt Displays!

I purchased a mac mini server with the intent of ultimately running two thunderbolt displays off of it. I pre-ordered in August, waited six weeks for it to arrive and realized that the mac mini server that I had been sent was a lemon. I applied for a replacement, which was built in China and it arrived two weeks later. Everything was going great - I had my mac mini server running a thunderbolt and I was thrilled! Yesterday however, I purchased my second thunderbolt display, connected it and nothing happened. Trouble shooting didn't help. Finally, I called apple and was told that the server version doesn't support duel thunderbolt displays! I had read all of the technical specifications and there was no mention (at that time) that the server couldn't support duel displays. I am now in the process of returning my mac mini server in exchange for a custom build mac mini with upgraded 2.7 GHz i7 processors and 8GB RAM. I'm really disappointed to have to be going through all of these extra steps just to realize the system that I imagined early on. I checked the Apple Thunderbolt display options page at apple and they have now posted that the server doesn't support duel displays (but that informaiton definitely was not there when I first read it!). Why would the server version not support duel displays? To me, it doesn't make any sense. What are your thoughts?

It doesn't support dual TB displays because it uses the integrated
Intel graphics HD 3000. Only discrete graphics cards can handle
dual TB displays. The integrated graphics chip just cant handle
the load.
As for the logic of it, as servers, they are usually single display
and even more often are run headless and managed remotely.
It is marketed as a server and thus the logic.

One thing more, as you can't use it it may bother you as you won't be able to use the new box in the graphical mapping to do look ups (JDBC, or RFC), as both boxes get the channel from a parameter.
However, you can still create your own UDF and do the lookup manually with java code, it's not a big issue. I had to do it for RFC lookups some times.
