The icon of faceTime doesn't appear in the dock just space for it and i can turn on the faceTime when I click to the space

If the above doesn't work, try a reset.
1. Hold the Sleep and Home button down (together)
2. For about 10 seconds
3. Until you see the Apple logo (very important)
4. Ignore the red slider

Go to the apple.com to download the latest iTunes and ipod updater and install accorindingly, then do a Reset of your iPod i.e. Press "Menu"+"Select" keys. Connect it with your iBook and open iPod updater, hope it will allow you to do a Restore. If failed, then press "Select"+"Play" keys to put your iPod in Disk Mode, connect it back with your iBook, open the iTunes and you will able to see your iPod there. Then open the ipod updater and do a restore. You may need to do a few attempts in order to achieve the solution

Yes, I normally get this white screen when I turn the machine on. Whithout seen nothing behind it. But now is not appearing anymore. I turn it on > everything goes black (should be white with the apple and the loading bar) > then the screen of the user and password to access the computer appears normally.

Same thing happened to me. I ended up completely uninstalling itunes then downloaded it again from http://www.apple.com/itunes/. If you're using firefox, for some reason itunes will not download and I don't know if using googlechrome will also have problems,so just to be sure that it will work on your first try, use internet explorer when you download itunes. (I think the daughter got he better end of the deal!) I believe if you change the password and user id one of the devices it will stop that from occurring. But I'm not the one to tell you how to do it; someone like "Illaass" (Illaass seems to know how to correct / fix almost anything!) will know how if you don't. Just look for the "cat" icon.

Go into your system preferences and click the startup disk icon then select your Mac HD.

How to restore iPod when it doesn't appear in the Source List?

About 6 months ago I stupidly wiped my iPod Nano (5th Gen) and reformatted it as fat32. I assumed that when I formatted it back to Mac OS Journaled it would work normally as an iPod again but it doesn't. When it is plugged into my Mac running 10.5.8, it appears on the desktop/mac harddrive (without its individualised nano icon) and it fails to appear in the source list in iTunes (10.2.2).
I have tried everything I know how to do, including the steps outlined in this support document:

I need to restore the iPod to factory settings, but need a way to do this not through iTunes seeing as the iPod is not recognised. Specifically, in the following support document I cannot complete step 4:

One last thing I have tried is duplicating the files (including hidden ones) from a 5th gen nano that does appear in my source list, and placing those files into my apparently invisible nano but this has not made any difference.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I have basically been left with a bricked paperweight (due mostly to my own stupidity!) but would love to be able to use it again.

What happens if you place the iPod into Disk Mode with it still connected to your Mac? Does it then show up in Finder as a mounted drive? Here are instructions for putting your iPod into Disk Mode.

Stop doesn't appear on the menu bar on Version 29.0.1 and I can't find the icon in the customize menu. It just seems to have disappeared. I would also like words under the menu icons. Also the reload icon can't be moved or customized.
I JUST HATE IT WHEN WEBSITES COME OUT WITH A NEW "STREAMLINED" APPEARANCE. IT ALWAYS MEANS FEWER FEATURES AND MORE TROUBLE TO USE.

FaceTime:
Check Settings>FaceTime>ON and check Settings>General>Restrictions>FaceTime>ON. There is no icon, on the 4 & 4S FaceTime is accessed through contacts. Go into your Contacts, access the contact you want to FaceTime with and you will see a tab at the bottom of their contact card. You can also access FaceTime by going into your Phone app, select dialling keypad, dial number, press call and an option for FaceTime on the keypad will appear. It should be noted that FaceTime has been removed from iPhones sold in some Middle Eastern countries at the express wish of the respective Governments.
