The idoc number changes when I execute it in WE19

Hi,
I am executing an inbound idoc with message type ORDERS in WE19. I then choose the relevant inbound function module, choose the foreground processing and then execute in debug mode.
The control then goes inside the function module. I then check the table IDOC_CONTROL which refers to EDIDC. Here I find that the idoc_contrl[1]-DOCNUM refers to a different idoc number. This number is a different one everytime I execute the WE19. Why is this so?

Hi,
In most cases WE19 is used as a test tool , apart from this in case of any changes are required in the fields present in the segment, immediate changes can be done using WE19. For eg if the Posting Period for a FIDCC2 has to be changed to a previous date on which the posting would actually be executed, it can done using WE19.
IDocs generated for purely testing purpose maybe in a preproduction environment before bringing it live to a production environment, to check for the validity of the data along with the generation of fields WE19 is used.

Try to change the credit information from your iphone or other ios device. Tap on settings > store > tap Apple ID > tap view account > tap payment information > change

Unable to find the IDOC number in WE02

HI All,
I have executed an outbound program from SM37 and i can see that job got finished in the log.
but when i check the spool, it doesnt contain any list and also i am unable to find the Idoc number in WE02.
I am not clear in this. Please expalin me in detail.

Go to Sales order screen, In the main screen below the command line, one button will be there " Services for object" Click that...... It will open one tool bar.... on that tool bar one icon will be there with thee arrow ..... Click on that,,,,, and here you can see the idoc number....

How to obtain the IDOC number after creation

Hello everyone,
for our master data distribution via report RHALEINI (triggered via a custom report), we have some additional code in BAdI HRALE00OUTBOUND_IDOC, method IDOC_DATA_FOR_RECEIVER_MODIFY.
Everything is working fine so far. Now I need to know the Idoc number after it was created to store it in a customer table together with some additional data. Since the Idoc was not yet created when we're in the method mentioned above, I have to put my coding somewhere else.
Any that's exactly my question: Were could I put my coding? It needs to be executed after MASTER_DATA_DISTRIBUTE since this function creates the idoc in the database.
I though about the following:
- Since RHALEINI is called by a custom report, I might be able to read the idoc number from memory id COMM_HRMD_A (see RHALEINI, line 418).
- Maybe BAdI IDOC_DATA_INSERT could be used for this purpose?
What would be your approach for this?

EXPORT comm_control TO MEMORY ID 'COMM_HRMD_A'.
This is a nice observation!
Since RHALEINI is called by a custom report, I might be able to read the idoc number from memory id COMM_HRMD_A
Are you SUBMIT'ting the report RHALEINI in the custom program? If yes, you can access the memory COMM_HRMD_A in your program. To verify this you can check in debug mode if the memory id is populated.
I've checked the report RHALEINI & the internal table comm_control should contain the idoc number!
Maybe BAdI IDOC_DATA_INSERT could be used for this purpose

Hi Shabbirmdpasha,
If you know the user name then you can find the idoc numbers created by that user. But the problem here is it not only gives the material it gives all the idocs created by that user. Go to SE16 --> table name EDIDS --> here you can fill the approximate date and in UNAME give the userid and execute. This will give all the idocs created by that user. I know it is only a partial solution.

In MIGO you can go to service of object(Just above show overview) and check 5th option workflow you will find the idoc number.

Finding the idoc number for material document

Hi,
I have a material document which was created by an idoc. How do I know the idoc number that has created this material doc?
We have lots of idocs coming from external systems which do GI, GR, transfer postings etc. With the material document , not able to trace which idoc created it.

my present error is Data pack 1 got error and Datapack 2 was success,
their 3IDocs are their in detail tab all are success
as per my knowledge it will for the Data pack 2 and it is showing 3different
how can i find the Idoc which was struck .....
that need to process manually in BD87..

It sounds like you bought an upgrade from Adobe. How much did you pay? The upgrade is about $80, and the non-upgrade is about $150. If you bought an upgrade version and had no previous version, you would see what you're seeing.
If that is the case and I were you, I'd call Adobe, and arrange for a refund and to order the correct version.

1)i read soemwhere the solution for the PROCESS OVERDUE ERROR is due to unprocessed IDOC. to see the idoc stauts using we02/we05, we need the idoc number. but my questiuon is WHERE I CAN FIND OUT THE IDOC NUMBER?

For Idoc number regarding BW please goto tcode: BD87. there you can find inbound Idoc numbers if you want outbound Idocs enter same tcode in R/3 system
another tcodes related to Idocs: WE02, We05, WE19.
