Hi! a have a question about colours management. i bought brand new iMac and installed adobe photoshop cc, but when i opened it the image colours have been broken. how to fix it? the logo must be orange coloured

Your hardware acceleration doesn't work. Turn it off in the Performance prefs.

Printing of the image display area is to small to read on some large displays
Need to restrict the image resizing in generating the print output to a minimum size (to allow it to be readable) and allow the printed output to flow into a multiple pages wide by multiple pages in length if necessary. Currently it is restricted to one page.

Hi,
I'd suggest you to use PNG format to save the images of your intensity graphs. You get sharper images than JPEG format.
I made some modification to your program to save PNG files, anyway you can try to save in JPEG and see the difference.

My podcast shows a broken chain link in the image graphic area?

I ping and it gets received, but I don't see updates and my graphic has NEVER shown up?

Suddenly, one of my iPhoto Libraries will not open, or rather iPhoto opens, but says there are no photos in the file. However, when I backed it up and looked into it otherwise, the images 86gigs are still there in the file. What to do??

Suddenly, one of my iPhone libraries will not open with 86 gigs of images: it opens and says there are no photos, yet by other looking, all the images are there and when backing up, it takes an hour.

To move from iPhoto 08 (which is v7) to iPhoto 11 (which is v9) requires that you purchase iPhoto 11. Your software update is running just fine. V7.1.5 is last version of iPhoto 08.
Never import one Library to another. Every version and thumbnail is imported like a distinct photo, you lose all your Albums, Keywords etc., the link between Original and Previews is destroyed, the non-destructive editing feature is ruined and so on. In summary: it's mess.
As to the problematic library:
Try these in order - from best option on down...
1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
2. Download <a href="http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/"><b><u>iPhoto Library Manager</b></u></a> and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new *iPhoto 08* library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Events and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
In the iPhoto Preferences -> Events Uncheck the box at 'Imported Items from the Finder'
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Event Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

This is the exactly text in the installations guides after read and install OAS 9.0.4 (the installation release notes would be integrates in the installation docuement...) in a cold failover cluster (I have installed a lot of things and I don't know what heaven they are for... Epson perfection 610 does not work as claimed with Mavericks. The driver has not been working since it was introduced in previous OSX releases. Will Epson look into this matter as the images produced are unusable, the cymk channels are offset.

Has anyone had this scanner working with the Apple drivers? Mavericks still adds this scanner and even gives it the correct icon in the dock. But, the CYMK channels are offset making the output images unusable. Surely this must be a driver fault which has been long standing, before Mavericks. I get the impression it is a generic driver that just maybe recognises an epson scanner and just does what it always does without taking too much care to adapt to the scanner itself. Such as shame as the Apple scanning software is otherwise very good.

Anyone know how to inform Apple they have a problem with the driver? Just to let them know...
Of course there is handmade solution by using Photoshop and move channels each other but frankly...

I have manually arranged the images in an event (let's call it "myEvent") in iPhoto'11 v9.4.2. When turn on my apple TV and go to computers -> myMac -> Photos -> myEvent the order of the images is not the same. Does anybody know how I can force Apple TV to show the images in the same oder?

TS3276 the images (attachments) are automatically resized (smaller) when I send them to a customer. My email screen does not show a drop down menu box where you can leave as actual size. Is there a setting elsewhere that can be set.

Any suggestions on problem I have. I receive images, say a file that is 3 mgs through email on Safari mail and when I try to resend it or forward it or any other larger file, when it sends the file is reduced by about 1/3. My screen does not show and drop down menu with a feature to keep actual size or reduce that is suggested when I looked up solutions to the problem. I can't find a setting anywhere in mail that I can change to make sure my files are kept at actual size. I figure a setting got changed -don't know how - but it happened about a month ago. Caused problems as I work in graphics can't send files to clients as they come out too small. Any suggestions on how to fix.

Links with special characters work on the web, but are broken in RSS feed

I've been searching the forum, but haven't found anything relevant.
Here is my problem. Most embedded links on my blog posts work fine. However, sometimes I use links with embedded special characters. Here's an example link to a YouTube video:

When I go to my blog on the web and click on the link, the link works fine. BUT, when I look at my RSS feed from the blog, the link gets transformed into:
http://www.youtube.com/watch%253Fv%253DugiY9t6fzo4
... which doesn't work.
Something (I presume iWeb?) replaces the "?v=" with "%253Fv%253D"
Obviously, I get a lot of e-mail from my RSS subscribers telling me about broken links.
What can I do? Does anyone else have this issue?

I followed the topic concerning the Firefox photoalbum problem but I´m using Safari and the albums will not show up on the web !!!! I also exchanged the detailview and headercontrol *js which worked fine for opening the photoalbum on my harddisk with firefox. But when its uploaded to the server it won´t display and that in Safari!!!! On the published folder on my harddisk everything works fine

Motion not getting into motion! And the other apps are broken too!

Hi all -
I've just upgraded my system from Tiger to Leopard (no sense leaving it too much longer, I guess).
I did the right thing with a clean install on a new drive.
I brought settings/apps over from the old Tiger disk just to streamline things, then came the latest patches (via software update) and the problems started.
I've removed the apps according to the Apple KBase article (delete app from applications folder, related receipts, etc) and brought the apps back to life. The weird thing is that problems affect all apps in FCS2 except FCP.
So, I've taken the error logs from Console which I hope will give better debugging feedback. I truly welcome any ideas about what the problem is and how I go about fixing it!

HI I agree. I was burnt once like this using migration.app.
Suggest as previous poster, get all your data & prefs (boomarks & settings) of the DDM | filesystem & reinstalll the OSX and all the apps then renstate you own dat and prefs etc. It will be clean wo't take too much longer than what you have been doing.

Has anyone else noticed that the flag accelerators are broken in LR5?

I'm running LR5 on Windows 64 bit and have noticed that the flag accelerator keys, P, U and X don't work. When I press these in the Library module, the text pop-up tells me that the appropriate flag state is being set but the flag never actually changes state. To change the flag, I have to right click and use the "Set Flag..." context menu. This makes editing a lot slower since I can no longer move through all the shots and pick selects and rejects using the keyboard. Can anyone suggest a workaround?

Thanks for the pointer. In the end, it seems that this was some local weirdness. It's been failing for a couple of days but, after posting the question, I closed LR and restarted and, hey presto, the accelerators and working correctly again. Probably just another case of Windows bit rot but I'll keep my eyes open for a repeat since I've never seen Lightroom behave that way before.
