The images/ buttons etc. from various UI design kits are showing up micro size so small I can barely see them.
How do I transfer things from the UI design kit file that is open in PhotoShop 2014 to a new file and preserve the size? I am using UI kits for ios. I use these pre-settings:
Save a preset template for each device configuration and you are done.

Does the Apple IOS UI Design Kit supply some tool to be used with Adobe Photoshop. How do you transfer IOS data to Photoshop I did not think users could acces IOS file system.
It may be your just using a high resolution display laptop or tablet with Photoshop and did not know that things would display much smaller on a high resolution display then what you use to seeing on a low resolution display.

Several months ago, I kept getting prompted to 'update' my iphoto library. When I finally clicked on the 'update' button, it 'greyed out' ALL of my photos. Now ALL of my photos are grayed out and I can't see ANY of my pictures unless I click on each grayed out photo individually and open them, ALL of the thumbnails are greyed out. It is THE WORST!! You can't - Photoshop CS5.5 is much older than the high res display on your laptop.
UI Scaling at 200% was added as a feature in Photoshop CC 2014, and will scale for your new high res display. -
Why are the images not printing from InCopy? Why is the relink button in Links panel ghosted?
I am having a problem with printing from Incopy. All stories are editable and that is working just fine. I am able to view the images although AD has set the graphics to not be editable yet I can still see them of course.
My problem is upon wanting to print the layout. Getting a message that the image links are missing. I have not moved the original folders (they are all set up on the same level in one main folder). I am working remotely, layout based workflow via dropbox.
My client would like to have the option to print layouts also initially. How can I relink the images if the "relink" button is ghosted. Can somebody help me please? I have tried doing a restart… Any ideas?the-edmeister, you are a genious. I went to "view" then "toolbars" and de-selected "yahoo toolbar" and then moved the curser over my firefox page and it now works completely including the problem area (the top 3 cm of each screen). Images I move from one folder into another are disappearing, at first it was occurring immediately and only if I did not copy and paste the images. Today however I found out that images I had been using for days just up and vanished from their new location. A few of these images had copies in another folder that remained and the ones I couldn't find may or may not have ever had copies. I had backed up my system with time machine recently as well, so I went into the backup to retreive the lost images. When I searched and found the backup copies I got the error "the file alias cannot be opened because the original cannot be located". The crazy thing is that the images that remained on my computer did not give me the same error and opened like they should.
In short images that I am creating, saving, and using are disapearing so epically that even time machine versions are affected when retrieval is attempted. Any suggestions as to what I could be doing wrong without realizing it? Or perhaps other people have had similar bugs that are software related and have a solution?Hi Kevin,
I understand what you tried to do but it doesn't work that way. Swapping drive names will just mess things up.
You should be able to reconnect the files though: in the Locate Referenced Files dialog make sure you click the Show Reconnect Options button — this will give you access to all the connected drives. Locate one of the files and hit Reconnect All. Should do the trick.

I have set up a second iTunes user account on my PC, but when I create the new iTunes account it copies the music, videos etc from the original account and they seem to be linked, so that when I delete a song from one library it deletes from the other one.
On the online tutorials I've seen it shows that when you create a new iTunes library it should open as a blank account, but that isn't happening.
What am I doing wrong?If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar

The share button disappeared from my Facebook add-on just before I upgraded to Firefox 5.0. I thought that maybe by upgrading and reinstalling the add-on it might come back, but it didn't. All the other FB buttons are there, near as I can tell. Any ideas? I'm still using XP3.

Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase your device. Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your device was new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.

Be aware that photos should always be synced to a computer for archiving and that relying on a restore from an icloud backup may not return all (or any) of your photos. Once on the computer, you can sync the photos to the new device...

Why am I having issues with the image button?

I am working on creating a business card template so that people can add their images of themselves and write in their own information. I was reading the Ted Padova book (for version 5 or 6) and I was excited when he said to use the image button to create variable image data and this would work with reader, standard and professional.
I had sent the file to my clients and those who have reader cannot change the images at all but standard and professional can make changes.
I have already checked to make sure that the rights for acrobat reader was in use.

You can't delete it. Look on all your screens and inside all your folders. If you still can't find it go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. This will restore the home screen to its original configuration but may move other apps around to do so. (You may want to take some screenshots of your screens first so you can recreate your app layout.)

Is there an automatic method of extracting all the presets, settings, etc. from every program in the Adobe Master Collection 5.5?
I am about to regenerate my Operating System Partitions from scratch & do not want to go through setting up each & every program in the master collection by hand.Adobe does have some pages documenting where it keeps preference et. al. files. For example, this one for Photoshop CS5:

I do know that overlaying the contents of the Adobe Photoshop CS5 Settings folder does restore most of the preferences. The Color Settings are in a file called Color Settings.csf in another folder (depending on OS). What I don't know is whether there are paths in those files that will differ depending on how you reinstall your system.
You'll want to reinstall all your plug-ins again, much the same as when you reinstall Photoshop. But you can make a copy of your Plug-ins subfolders from your 32 and 64 bit Photoshop installation areas just for good measure, to make sure you don't forget some of them.
As for other programs in the suite... You'll have to look for that info separately.

My husband just got an iPad and we are wondering if he can sync the iPad to my lap top since I already have my iPhone synced to the laptop. We do not want to intermix the contacts, photos, etc from his iPad onto my iPhone or my iPhone info onto his iPad.
You should be able to sync both to the same iTunes - I sync my iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch to the same computer. With the iPad connected and selected on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, you can use the tabs on the right-hand side to select which of your iTunes content to sync to it, so you can control which apps, photos, music etc are synced to it, and (via the Info tab) from which email account your contacts are synced from. Your computer's iTunes should remember your syncing preferences for each device.
