Hi Experts,
I am getting error (The internal Id Of preferred Enterprise Manager could not be found) in phase "Generate System level metric" in step 8 of Managed System configuration through solman_setup. I have checked both Enterprise Manager as well as SMD agent is running.We have LM service 7.10 SP10.
Please suggest.

Can anyone help me solve this problem, its my first time using crystal reports
i have installed VS 2003 and Crystal report XI professional Edition, i am trying to run the system but it is complaining about the BusinessObjects.Enterprise.Sdk not found, I read from another post where they say crystal report XI comes with BOE sdk so i dont have to install it separately, so i was advised by someone to reinstall Crystal report but it didnt solve my problem.
i also have another error "The dependency 'CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.PluginManager' could not be found." which im assuming its caused by the sdk error.
Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?

The Professional editions of Crystal Reports XI (v11.0) and Crystal Reports XIR2 (v11.5) are not development level products. This means your VS IDE didn't get updated to stand alone versions of the various Crystal assemblies. I would expect that the Crystal references in your VS2003 application are v9.1.5000 because CR XI/XR2 Professional doesn't update your IDE.
If you're trying to develop an application that interacts with a BusinessObjects Enterprise (BOE) system then you need to install the BOE .NET SDK onto your development machine. The BOE .NET SDK (for CR XI (v11.0) and CR XIR2 (v11.5)) has to be installed from the Enterprise installer media. It can not be downloaded.
You can install the BOE .NET SDK using the u201CServer Installu201D path after launching the BOE installer. Just choose Server Install u2013 you will need your BOE keycode. Next choose Custom install. You'll be presented with a drop down list for the Enterprise components. Deselect everything and then look for the Developer Components option. You may have to drill down into one of the levels to find it. Under Developer Components you'll see the BusinessObjects Enterprise .NET SDK. Select it to install to the development machine. This should allow you to work with the Enterprise .NET SDK.
When you are ready to deploy your .NET application you will also need to install the .NET SDK onto the Web application server (assuming it's not also your Enterprise server). This is because we are not fully managed by the .NET Framework.

Hi,
I'm trying to install TFS 2013 on a remote SQL RS instance.
Using the TFS 2103 U4 installation
SQL 2012 RS, name instance, Server: SQLProdA, Instance Name COMRS
When I enabled tracing using debugView I see the following output:
[4160] [Error @11:07:10.978] Exception Message: TF255186: The following SQL Server Reporting Services Instance could not be found: COMRS. The server name is: SQLProdA. (type TfsAdminException)
Any ideas what the issue is?

Thanks for the help. I already saw those links, and am already trying with the format. As I wrote above:
Server: SQLProdA, Instance Name COMRS
So I wrote in the box "SQLProdA\COMRS" (without quotes of course) and I still keep getting that error.
I don't know if it matters, but although this is indeed a named instance, nonetheless, the path to the report server uses the default url (ie.
http://servername/reports) as opposed to the name instance version (ie.
http://servername_instance/reports) as mentioned by your link and this post:

But, I checked with Fiddler on the server and didn't see it trying to even access the link so I don't think it is related. I saw with Process Monitor that it is indeed trying to access via the network resources on SQLProdA, so I know it's trying.
I have noticed something in the past, and wondered if this could be the issue, that for example if I have Management Studio 2014 installed, I cannot connect to a Reporting Services instance which is 2012. Only when Management Studio 2012 is installed
and being used can I connect. I wondered if this possibly could be related, that maybe the API or something else which the installer is using is missing some component to connect to the RS instance.
Just in case, I already installed both the SQL 2012 and 2014 Client Tools Connectivity (although I first installed 2014, and then 2012).
Do you think this could be the issue? If not, do you possibly have any other leads?

I am getting "The attempted operation failed. An object could not be found" error when I double click on an .ics file to an appointment to my calender. My outlook.com account's data file is set as default and this error only occurs if
that is the default data file. I thought that maybe my profile is corrupted. So, I opened up a new profile with the below steps and only add my outlook.com account there:
1-) Open up the Control Panel and go to Mail section
2-) Click "Show Profiles"
3-) Click "Add" and give a name to your profile.
4-) Configure your outlook.com account (with Auto Account setup, not manual steps)
5-) Finally, set that profile to be used always.
Then, I opened up the Outlook 2013 and clicked on the .ics file to add that appointment but got the same error.
Is this a known issue or specific to me?

Syncing issue: Some of the items in the iTunes library, including "[name of song]", were not copied to the iPhone "[name of iPhone]" because they could not be found.

When trying to sync with any of my apple devices the following message is displayed:
Some of the items in the iTunes library, including "[name of song]", were not copied to the iPhone "[name of iPhone]" because they could not be found.

I am able to play the songs in my iTunes library without any issues and there is no "!" next to the listed songs in my library.
It is only when I try to sync my devices that this problem arises.
The songs are also on my laptop and not on an external hard drive.

Hey thanks for the reply.
When the box pops up there is no option to search for the location. I just have to click ok.
Then when I go to the songs with problems in my iTunes library and try to play them they play fine.
It is only while syncing that iTunes for some reason is unable to locate the song.
Any suggestions?

Open the PP project.
Export your sequence or project as a Final Cut Pro XML file.
Set up a new PP project.
Import the Final Cut Pro XML file.
This will get you back up an running.
Since getting back to editing this project I have found that some things will be lost or change in using XML:
You will lose position key framing, black video clips, dissolve fx, audio levels, audio dynamic fx, the ability to open a multi camera clip and change the camera view.
You will keep cut points, crop fx.
Not perfect but only took a couple of hours to save 3 days work.

i have Oracle 10g installed on my laptop. I created a database, besides the ORCL one.
I stopped the the following services OracleDBConsoleorcl, OracleJobSchedulerORCL and OracleServiceORCL.
now when i tried to connect to the enterprise manager through my browser i was unable to.
But when i start the above processes i am able to connect to the em but with the orcl instance.
Please help me as i need to connect to the other db instance.

I have 53 tracks out of about 1500 that can't sync. I can play them just fine in iTunes, but they won't transfer to my iPod Touch (gen4). For example, I have a play-list of a particular album and half of the songs transfer and the other half don't. iTunes will play all the files however. The files are located on a network drive (NAS). I can play these files also via XBMC or WD TV Live.
Thoughts on how to resolve?

I talked to an Apple tech support person. Actually, my call had to be elevated to the next support level. Joy. You are correct, there are multiple listings of the files in the error report even though there is only one copy.
The support person had me do a few things. Here is what eventually seems to fix things:
1) For the mp3's that DID copy but were listed as not found... Some files were duplicated so deleting the duplicate with the "!" was an easy fix. I found one file that I could search by song name in iTunes but could not find it by song name search on the iPod. Looking at the iPod playlist I found the file listed by the filename (not song name) and the file played fine. Then in iTunes I double clicked on the song name ("!" showing) and selected locate. I then pointed to the location on the NAS. Resync and now the name of the song on the iPod changed from filename to song name. The file was no longer listed in the error report.
2) For the m4a files that didn't sync... the problem songs appeared three times in a search in iTunes. Two of the listings showed the "!" next to the name. I deleted these two for each song that didn't sync and all transferred fine afterward.
Perhaps there is an issue with ID3 tags since I use filenames more than tags in organization. Still, I would think that iTunes would not get so confused or be a little more friendly with its errors, especially considering how long its been around.

The Crystal Reports charting component (sscsdk80.dll) could not be found

Here's our situation. One of our accounting staff installed the upgrade to SP1 for CR 2008, after which Calculated Members & Embedded Summaries in Cross-Tab objects would not function. He tells me he searched these forums and that the problem is a known issue with SP1 and he cannot work without it. Therefore, he rolled it back to Service Pack 0. However since then the above error will occur when running any report that contains a chart or a graph. I've tried to re-register the dll listed in windows, but it errors stating it cannot find the file. I've located the file and it exists.
Can someone please provide me with a resolution to both issues. I have no problem moving to SP1 again if the issue with Calculated Members & Embedded Summaries in Cross-Tab objects can be resolved.

I had the same issue. I noticed that after uninstalling SP1, there were 3 DLLs that remained in the win32_x86 directory. One of them was sscsdk80.dll.
I deleted all 3 DLLs (again, no CR installed when I did this), and then re-installed CR 2008 SP0 from scratch. That solved the problem, and now both charting and calculated members are revived.
In the meantime, as product manager for CR, I'm making sure a fix to the root cause issue of broken calculated members in crosstabs in SP1 gets addressed ASAP. I'll update the community as soon as I know more in my blog.

As it turns out, most of the topics are coming up, just not the one I was looking for. It appears that under the "Essentials" menu in the Help Center, all of the topics are "not available" with the exception of "Get connected" and "Solve problems".
Strange, but I'll just use the online help instead.
Otherwise, if anyone else knows why this is happening, feel free to post. I am curious, and wouldn't mind having my high opinion of Apple maintained.

Problem with EM (Enterprise Manager is not able to connect to the database)

I've Oracle DB 11g Rel.1 installed on Windows XP SP3. The database is up and running i.e. everyone can connect to the DB by using any App tool e.g. SQL*Plus, Forms, or Reports. It means that the listener and the service is running. But the problem is that when I try to start the EM I see some error messages on the webpage.

Hi Experts,
We have a issue with the 124002 ID request for the ODS ZSDOD005 (request number REQU_6ROBVFEQ9SSOIJY5MDF2W9BTX).
It has green status, but if you open the monitor, the status is red.
If you search for more detail, you can see the following message:
“Lock in lock manager could not be set -> long text”
The error refers to a lock in lock manager
Lock in lock manager could not be set -> long text

Diagnosis
The lock in the lock manager could not be set.
An attempt is being made to set the lock in include LRSENQF00 in the form set_enqueue.
The lock table is table RSENQ_PROT_ENQ.
An attempt was made to lock the following object:
User/Object = BWREMOTE/ZSDOD005
Object_typ/Action = ODS/UPD_ODS
Subobject = REQU_6ROBVFEQ9SSOIJY5MDF2W9BTX
SubSubObject = 000001
This problem affects subsequent loads.
The InfoPackage ZPAK_6K641H103XV0MTRBAV9Q788IS loads data to three ODS ZSDOD001, ZSDOD003 and ZSDOD005.
None of the other ODS generated InfoPackage for 09.25.2013.
Our BASIS support team couldn’t see locks that impact in the procedure.
The InfoPackage ZPAK_6K641H103XV0MTRBAV9Q788IS is part of the Process Chain ZCP01 - Ventas (SD) Transaccional
If we tried to repeat the step we had obtained the following message:

It is abnormal that there is a green external status and a red one internal.
Could you, please check why are we having this lock error?
What are the steps to follow to avoid losing information or having it duplicated in this case?

Hi,
Make sure the DSO is not changed mode when u r trying perform your activity in production system.
if the DSO is in change mode..it will be locked for further activities to be happend on it unless again it comes back to active status.
if it locked..you can see all the locked Objects in SM12 Tcode and proceed accordingly.
