This warning occurred in several seconds after the Windows Server Backup start. Our backup job finishes successfully. That server is in provisioning without a heavy workload, and we have not experienced any problem yet. But we do not want to face any problems
due to this error in the production environment.
All disks of the server are managed by the LSI MegaRAID controller, which doesn’t report any errors in the disk system.
it is Windows Server 2012 with the latest updates.

Wow, I have been having the exact same problems with Server 2012 WSB.  I thought I had it resolved but it started acting up again.  I tried 3 different external hard drives thinking they may be the problem.   The raid array also seems fine,
it is not giving me any errors, no amber lights.
If I run a backup system state + hyper-v it would fail 9/10 of the time on the host component.  I have posted every where and cannot find anything.   These are the event during any backup I run.

Windows backup gives me various errors for what did not backup.  Mainly this one:

What's the purpose when we config ipv6 address for an interface with 128bit mask?
    Thanks

If you configure a loopback-interface you can use a /128 there.
"Normal" interfaces should always use /64 (RFC 4291) while on router-to-router-links you can use a /127 (RFC 6164).

  • Force Logical Block size for HDD pulled from external enclourse

So I pulled a 3tb hitachi drive from an external enclourse, and the usb-to-sata board in the enclourse forced a logical sector size of 4K for the drive. But connecting directly to the drive exposes the logical sector size to 512 bytes. Resulting in me being unable to mount the partition. So what I am asking is, is there a way to force the logical sector size for a drive to be different than the drive exposes or am I going to have to move everything off the drive and reformat it?
    The enclourse in question:

    Hi ebrian,
You can't perform a migration from Linux to Windows in that manner with 9i.The plan can be changed to migrate from 9.2.0.4 to 10g and than move from 32-bit Linux to 32-bit Windows.
It should not matter the end result for the OP is the same 10g on 32 bit windows.
It just depends on what technoly the OP wants to use (export/import or rman convert).

  • My e-mail address for Skype was changed. Help?

Hello, first off let me state that I am using this account, but it is my other account that I need help with. I recently received an email stating that my email address for skype had been changed. At that time I received 4 unauthorized charges for "Skype Credit" from my Paypal account. I now cannot login as my password has been changed and I cannot access help from that account without logging in. Can someone with Skype please help me so I can close that account before more charges are attempted?

    Try this one:
Settings > Store > tap on your Apple ID. Log out and then log back in with your new account information.
I hope this works for you.

  • Logical Block Addressing (LBA)

I have been having dual-boot issues for the past few years, the problem is...I can never get it to boot both operating systems. One suggestion by SUSE is to enable LBA in the BIOS. The article is here
My current motherboard is the MSIO K8N Neo Platinum with an AMD64 3400+ chipset. I do not see any options about enabling LBA in my BIOS.

If you left Bios settings at default there should be LBA enabled anyway. There is a option in the menu where you enable primary and secondary IDE.

  • How can i download the latest update of Logic Pro X for my non-internet computer?

This might seem like a daft question but i usually download updates onto a usb stick so i don't have to drag my desktop computer up the stairs only to instal an update...
Can anyone direct me into the right direction as i am already going crosseyed?
    Thank you.

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
If you have another Mac, open the App Store, log in with your Apple ID, go to Purchases and download Logic Pro X. Then, copy it to an external drive (it's saved in /Applications). Finally, copy Logic from the external drive to the Applications folder of your Mac desktop

  • Configure Logical Address for Web Applications-Hyperion 11.1.2

    Hello,
I have f5 load balancer infront of two foundation servers and I have not yet configured the Logical address for web applications with Loadbalancer DNS name/hostnmae. I can access all of web applications through Load Balanced URL. Do I Still need to configure Logical Web Address for web applications ?
    Thank you so much !

To add to this part of the reason for load balancing is usually to support high availability (in addition to scalability). Without that logic address being setup you will find certain configuration items are pointed to one server or another and if that one server is brought down it impacts key functionality of the whole environment.
You should consider a test of the infrastructure by purposely bringing down services and/or servers to ensure you still have a fully working environment with the other redundant components. This test may take half a day to several days to really go through a full regression test of key features while taking key pieces down.

  • Log connection attempts and source IP address for connections that fail/timeout on RADIUS

How can I log the connection attempts and source IP address for connections that fail RADIUS authentication?  I'm using RD Gateway on 2012 R2 in conjunction with Azure Multi-Factor Authentication Server on another 2012 R2 server.  When a user fails
multifactor authentication or the authentication times out, all I get is Security event 6273 on the RD Gateway that the radius server did not process the request, and only the radius server's IP is logged.  There's nothing logged in TerminalServices-Gateway\Operational
because the TS Gateway hasn't yet processed the connection attempt (all auditing options for RD Gateway are enabled).  The MFA/Radius Server is only logging the connection from the TSGateway - it doesn't know the original client's IP address.
I'm looking for the equivalent of an IIS log - somewhere the RD Gateway should log the initial HTTPS connection attempt and the source IP address of the client.  I need to be able to track down potentially fraudulent login attempts.

    Hi,
Thank you for your posting in Windows Server Forum.
This error might be caused by one of the following conditions:
    •  The user does not have valid credentials
    •  The connection method is not allowed by network policy
    •  The network access server is under attack
    •  NPS does not have access to the user account database on the domain controller
    •  NPS log files or the SQL Server database are not available
To perform these procedures, you must be a member of Domain Admins.
    Please check for more information:

  • Not recieving emails to verify email address for sync (2nd request)

Anybody out there can help me? Please
    not getting verification email
I am unable to get verification emails for sync. I check security and Mozilla Firefox is allowed. I have the latest version and I need help. I want sync to migrate my Firefox bookmarks to a new computer. Help will be appreciated. Just to let you know, I did get an email from Firefox for a survey. If that worked, why can't get the verification email for sync?

The email would be from <[email protected]> could this be in the spam filter or a blocked address?
If not, please delete the newly created account and sign up one more time after clearing the cache.

  • Can anyone tell me the how to use the "ducking" process in Logic Pro 8?

    Howdy,
I've tried following the directions in the manual but I just can figure out the steps necessary to use the ducking process in Logic 8. For those who aren't sure what ducking is it's for instance, when you want a guitar track's volume to be reduced when a vocal track is active. As an example, there is a way to trigger the volume reduction in the guitar track(s) using a compressor in the vocal track. Whenever the singer is singing it automatically reduces the volume in the guitar track. I'm just not sure how to do this. Any help with the steps involved would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Mark

Well, the theory is you run say, the mix , through the 'ducker' or as I like to call it, the 'motherducker', then you simply sidechain say, a kick drum. That is to say, you route your kick to a bus or aux channel, preferably routed to a different output, then assign that bus or aux as your sidechain input in the ducker. The theory is that the through signal will duck on receipt of the sidechained kick.
Frustratingly, this ducker is the buggiest thing since a bug landed on a buggy while loading it into the back of a VW bug. It just doesn't work. well it works for a bit and then stops working. Or the kick comes through the ducker as well. Or some other manifestation of complete crapness. Come on Apple, sort it out - it's the sound that everybody wants!
    Sorry Mark L1

  • Block alignment for NetWare 6.5 Virtual Machines

I have an enviornment with multiple virtualized Netware VM's running on vSphere. Some were converted using VMware's P2V software other's were migrated using the SCMT.
My question relates to block alignment at the NSS layer. I have the block alignment handled up to this point:
    SAN Luns: 64kb
    VMFS Partitions: 64kb
VMDK files: If created using the vSphere client 64kb. If P2V ???
    NSS partitions within VMDK: ???
What is the default block size for the NSS partitions in Netware? I there a way to check?
If they are not at 64KB, Is there a tool available to re-align them to 64kb?
    Thanks for the help!

The default and only available block size for NSS is 4k. No alignment should be necessary as 4 divides evenly into 64.
