The iPad1 will not upload movies since itunes 6.

Since updating to iTunes 6 my daughter's ipad1 will not allow for the moivies to sync to the ipad, and now they are no longer showing up as an option!
How can put her purchased movies back on her iPad?

Here's why it isn't clear what you mean:
You say iTunes 6 -- well, the current version of iTunes on a computer is 11.0.1.
You might mean iOS 6, which is the current iPhone and iPad operating system (actually 6.0.1 or 2), but iOS 6 cannot run on an original iPad.

Recently itunes will not transfer movies I have purchased from itunes. I can still tranfer older movies, but the two latest purchased will not synch, it says the video format is not supported. it seems odd that APPLE movies from APPLE itunes will not play on my APPLE ipad. I figured this out - this might be of great help to some people who have the same problem. I do not know how, but somehow my external hard drive got renamed to a different drive letter, from E to F. That's why itunes wasn't recognizing my songs, because there was a new file path name. Here's a microsoft XP tutorial on how to change drive letters if this happens to you:

I have lost the ability to upload files to a website. I have to transfer files from my computer to a web site and I get an error message "connection was reset" and the file will not upload. I try to transfer pictures and I get the same message.

I have to upload a scanned receipt to a website and I get the error message "connection was reset". I have uploaded these receipt for two years and last week I have had to use another browser to complete this operation. I connect to the website and do the report I must do, but I can no longer upload to this site.

Are you using any additional software for the uploading?
Try using Firefox in [[safe mode]] when you upload. There is no need to make changes when you see the option. Disable all plugins whilst in safe mode. Then try the uploads.
You mention [/questions/921993 elsethread] that it is a work site. Have you contacted your IT department. One possibility is that the site is not recognising Firefox 10.
(One temporary workaround and troubleshhooting test would be to install Firefox3.6.27 [http://portableapps.com/news/2012-02-01_-_firefox_portable_3.6.26_released portable] as an additional browser and try that.)

I just purchased a Canon a4000 and the videos will not upload to Picasa. Pics will but not video

I have owned several Canon's and have never had this issue. I attach my camera to the computer using a USB cable and hit import and everything but the videos will upload. Please help. Thank you.

If you are experiencing some difficulty, I recommend using the software that came with your PowerShot A4000 IS to transfer the video over to your computer. You can also use a card reader to a accomplish this as well.
Picasa uses other available software and codecs on your computer to work with video. I have provided a link below that will show you a table of supported video formats and the software required to play them back:

Ipod 5th Gen will not sync movies from Itunes...

I've had this Ipod for a couple of years now and the only way I've been able to put movies on is through a few programs that I've downloaded. I've bought a few movies off of the Itunes store and every time I put it on the iPod, the iPod freezes up, and then sometimes my iPod loses all of it's content. The iPod and iTunes are both up-to-date, is this just an issue with the 5th gens?

Are these HD movies? iPods can only handle SD movies.
Some store downloads include both versions. They will show HD-SD next to them. If so, right-click > Version and make sure SD is checked.
if it just shows HD, you should be able to use the Advanced menu to create an iPod or iPhone version.

Will not Upload Movies Directly to YouTube!

Recently every time I try to upload my movie on to YouTube, it tells me it can be viewed at http://youtube.com/profile_videos?user=TheITinFIT (that's my account) instead of a video URL as it usually does and it does not appear on YouTube. I've waited a few days and it has not appeared, so I don't think it uploaded to YouTube at all. I've tried exporting the file and using the file upload on YouTube, but the quality is horrible, so I'd prefer not to do that. Is there any way anyone can help me out please?

New Nano will not be recognized by Itunes

My Nano is new (Christmas) and Windows XP will connect, but the connection will not show up in Itunes. We have the lastest version of Itunes. It does recognize my dad's Nano. Please reply to [email protected] since I have trouble on these forums.

It is unlikely that two consecutive iPods have the same problem, so let's assume there is nothing wrong with the iPod for now. There is no systemic problem with iPod nano 7th gen and iTunes 12. Even my ancient 3rd gen iPod "classic" from 2003 works fine with iTunes 12 (and the latest OS X).
Since your other devices connect to iTunes, your OS and iTunes installation seem to be fine.
Does the iPad or iPhone use the same docking cable (not the newer "Lightning" cable)? You want to rule out a faulty cable as the cause. There are separate connection points on the connector for power and data, so it is possible for it to charge from a connection, but not connect for data, due to a faulty cable.
So (if you can rule out faulty cable), that leaves a problem with the USB port. It charges, so it seems to supply enough power. But because it shows only the battery status icon, it's like you are connecting it to a USB power adapter; there is no data connection either to iTunes or the Mac in general.
As a test, shut down (power off) the iMac and disconnect all USB devices (including any hubs). You can leave standard USB keyboard/mouse connected, if used. Do this to Reset the iPod
Reset your iPod - Apple Support
Start up the Mac, run iTunes, and connect the iPod to a direct USB port, by itself. Any difference?
If that does not help, try putting the iPod in Disk Mode

Then, connect it to the Mac and run iTunes. Any indication in iTunes, on the Mac in general, or on the iPod's screen, that there is a data connection between iPod and computer?

This is my own site which I've run for 3 years. Same
computer, same program, didn't touch site set up, firewalls or

My iPhone is connected to my computer but will not open up in iTunes.

My iPhone 5 quit working after 5 months but my warranty is up because they replaced my first iPhone 5, which is frustrating enough. I set my iPhone 4 back to factory default and set it up. iTunes and iCloud, etc. is all connected on my phone but the phone will not show up on iTunes on my computer. I don't know how to get it to connect. I've never had a phone or iPod that didn't pop up on iTunes as soon as I connected it until now.

Widget Spry ImageSlide show will not upload - error message

I'm attempting to update our webpage (tcmfellowship.org) with a video and slideshow. The video works but I receive an error message when attemping to upload Spry Image Slide Show. The error messages are below. The photos will not upload either but I assume that is because the Spry Slide Show is not on the site.

I tried changing to passive FTP and still get the errors below when trying to upload the images. Same with the spry widget.

Activesync will not upload calendar updates to outlook

The EAS works perfectly for e-mail with VersaMail and it downloads outlook calendar info to the treo, but the calendar on the Treo will not upload to the outlook caledar. Is there a setting I need to change or anything I can do?

My problem has now morphed into sometimes outlook data being uploaded but at wrong times, sometimes correct, sometimes not at all. Sometimes wiping out other dates in the outlook calendar, etc. All without my doing anything. I have no idea why, all of a sudden, outlook data uploaded - but it wasn't anything I did.
What is interesting (or perhaps would be if it were happending to someone else) is that it is not a static thing which is what I associate with machines, but an ever evolving problem. For example with the wrong time problem, I thought I had figured it out by not assigning a time zone to my meetings in the treo, but then it started to get the time right regardless of the time zone setting when I was experimenting with it. Now I am not sure what problem I have as it is slightly different each time.
Overall though it seems to be getting better...which I find kinda spooky. It is a machine - it shouldn't do that. I guess I have seen 2001 too many times...

Since iCloud Photo Library will not allow photos from iTunes iphoto to be up loaded ---how do I upload my photos to iCloud Photo Library?

I Have a 5s iPhone updated to 8.1---- have installed iCloud Photo Library---- will only upload 4oo of 21,000 photos--- will not upload any photos from iTunes. Since all 21,000 are in iPhoto's iTunes how do I get them to the icloud photo library. As you know enabling iCloud Photo Library deletes all iTunes photos from the iPhone 5s. Any ideas?
