The iphone 5 bought from Japan can be taken the service from AppleStore in US?

Hi guys,
My iphone5 was bought from Japan two months ago...but which was crashed accidentally. Now the screen was shattered.
I get a business trip to US next month. Could I take it to AppleStore for screen replacement? How much is the service?
Thanks,
William Y.

No .
You will have to pay in Japan ,as warranty does not cover damage
Should have added the warranty is not WW nor is service as Apple stores replace not repair and every geography sells different models which are only carried in the original source country

Can I still use the phone in Boston when I move there?
Only on a supported GSM carrier.
Will there be networks I cant use?
    Yes. CDMA networks.
As I understand it the 4S supports GSM and CDMA networks worldwide.
No, you've misunderstood. The GSM iPhone you can buy in Ireland supports GSM networks only i.e. AT&T

can the iphone 5s bought in HK can work in Canada LTE ?

    Hi Good morning!
When it comes to warranty it'll be applicable only in the country were you bought it from... now when it comes to international GSM usage you need to keep the following in mind:
T-Mobile is selling contractless iPhones (NOT FACTORY UNLOCKED), yes they are internationally sim unlocked as mentioned on the Apple online US store BUT it'll be under T-Mobile conditions which you can find here: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-1588 (please read it before taking the decision).
So if you're expecting to buy an iPhone 5s either from Apple or T-Mobile (online or physical store) and use it out of the US since day one... You better wait until Apple itself releases the GSM unlocked version otherwise be ready to activate your phone with T-Mobile first and wait 40 as a minimun requirement to have it internationally unlocked and use it anywhere with GSM carriers. (Again, take a look at the previous link for full requirements).

  • I get iphone 6 bought from Germany, can it be used in China?

I get iphone 6 bought from Germany, can it be used in China?

It should do, as long as you purchased it unlocked from Apple in Germany?
Just remember though, that you will probably not get 4G in China due to differences in frequency and you will definitely have no warranty cover for the phone in China - it will be an EU warranty as the phone came from Germany and iPhone warranty is not international.
Other than this, the phone should work on 2g or 3g if it is unlocked.

  • Unlocking iPhone 5 bought from Telefonica Movistar in Spain

I have an iPhone 5 bought from Telefonica Movistar in Spain over 2 years ago. I paid full RRP for this phone. I asked Movistar if it can be unlocked. They said they don't do it but for me to contact Apple directly to unlock. How do I get this done?

According to this article your carrier offers unlocking:
    Wireless carrier support and features
The unlocking process has to be started by the carrier, Apple can do nothing about it if they don't want to unlock the device for some reasons:
