The iphone camera doesnt sharpen focus automatically

When I want to take a picture of something, it doesn't sharpen the focus anymore,it takes a blurry picture.
How do I fix this. This started a few days ago.

Remove any case or protection film on the phone, then try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting.
If this does not work, set it up as new device, explained in this article:
How to back up your data and set up as a new device
If still no luck, try again, this time without using the latest backup, in case it contains corrupt data.

It should show up under DEVICES left side of the iTunes window in the source list. It's not an icon. It will say: (your) iPhone

Just to add.....I created a folder on my PC to store all videos taken from my iPhone and my wife's iPhone.

Try closing the Camera app:
1. Double-click the Home button to reveal the Task Bar
2. Hold down the Camera app for a second or two until you see the minus sign
3. Tap the minus sign to close app
4. Tap area above Task Bar to return to Home screen
If the above doesn't solve the problem, do a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider

Strange Photos appearing in the iPhone camera roll

This has happened twice. Four pictures of hand drawn games like Hangman and Tic Tac Toe show up on the camera roll on the iPhone. And not right after a sync. Don't think I can post one here but I can send them to anyone who asks. Is this a virus?

There are no viruses in iOS4, but 4.0 and 4.0.1 have a "PDF exploit" that theoretically make it vulnerable to malware. (Do you understand the difference between malware and viruses?) So far, the only example of this is a jailbreaking technique. The exploit was patched with 4.0.2 (and 4.1)
OTOH, if your phone is jailbroken, it not only has the PDF hole, but is vulnerable to other attacks, and who knows what's in your phone.

Problem with the iPhone Camera Driver.

I have the Original iPhone with a 3.1.2 OS and I'm on a Windows Vista Ultimate x64 machine. The "Apple Mobile Device USB Driver" is installed and everything works perfectly normal, iTunes recognizes the iPhone and I can transfer files and use all the functions iTunes has. The only problem I have is that when I plug in my iPhone the "iPhone" driver fails to install every time therefor it's not showing on My Computer and I can't get the photos from my phone as the driver I need makes the iPhone look as a 'Digital Still Camera'. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling every Apple related software multiple times, uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers from the Device Manager and scanned for hardware changes but nothing worked. I also tried to change various USB ports and followed other simple instructions given by people on forums but none of these worked. I would really appreciate if anyone can help me solve this problem.

I have a 3GS and was having many problems with my device driver using Windows 7.
The solution I found was to uninstall the driver
Can do this through Device Manager--
KEY STEP: I also read that having any photos in your CAMERA ROLL which you saved from the internet or email will INTERFERE with proper installation of the driver.
Save yourself some headaches and before going through these steps make sure you delete all images in your camera roll which were saved from email or the internet. I beat my head against the wall for a good hour because I couldn't believe it would make a difference--it does--I have no idea why.
THEN:
Open device manager and navigate to "Portable Devices" and uninstall the driver.
Unplug the iphone and plug it back in. The driver should install normally and actually be functional. It worked for me anyway.

i am having trouble calling my work voicemail frome the iphone - it does not recognize the DTMF tones from the dialpad. we have justgone to a new IP voice system at work

we use a remote dialling code to divert our office landlines to mobiles, we have had awful trouble with the iphones in doing this with the number stored as a contact, We also have trouble dialling the number direct from the keypad it still comes up with error and says the number has not been recognised.
I have managed to sort out how to remedy this for us on this end and i will give an example below, the 'p' represents a pause
(numbers changed for security)
original phonebook contact stored, please notice the pauses 'p' only the first single pause

the new number now stored in the phonebook with the extra pauses 'p'
01223495684pp*65p*4530p*01223456456p*07555456456# as you can see we dial a landline number and then give a pause for the next tone to cut in, then we enter the overall divert code, after this we enter the pin code followed by the landline number to divert and finally the mobile number that will be taking the calls and finishing off with hash.
all our other phones except the iphone will dial this number and work correctly with one pause at the beginning, I have now tried thios with two pauses at the beginning and one pause between each section and it now works fine,
This has cured our problem using the io5 iphones 4s. we could not dial these numbers with the iphones for nothing, all other phones work fine. When you have a bluetooth headset connected the problem is even worse.

I have the same problem, it was much easier to hold the phone steady and then release to take the photo. Now I have to tap and the phone shakes, or if I hold my finger down a millisecond too long it goes into burst mode and I get multiple photos where my phone was shaking! Hey everyone! So, as a fun experiment I'm starting to play with my iPhone 4S camera and am interested in seeing if I can achieve some specific styles of filming. Specifically, I'm looking to get a Spielberg-esque feel in a short film I want to make, which J. J. Abrams nailed in 2011's Super 8. I'm also a big fan of The Rocketeer, which also has a classic Spielberg feel to it, and was curious what it would take to achieve that style. Finally, in terms of more modern styles, I love the clean looks of movies like Captain America and even The Amazing Spider-Man, which I know what shot on a Red Epic. And before I forget, even though I know both Christopher Nolan and Zack Snyder use film, is there any way to pull off what they did on The Dark Knight trilogy or Man of Steel? Man of Steel especially had some cool Terrence Malick Tree of Life-esque shots I liked as well.
I'm really just looking for what I can do to film it like them, and then what I'd need to utilize in post-production to further solidify these styles. I know apps like Filmic Pro have been suggested, and right now I'm only using iMovie in post, but any further ideas are welcome. Thanks!

You learn just by watching a lot about what a DoP is looking at.
'Spoiler': In ptII/The Revenge one 'camera' is an iPhone.
… but operated by a professional! He knows the limitations of such a device, e.g. the poor 4 f-stops, it delivers etc etc ....

But it will never look as Spielberg-ish as you want
... if there's a one-click-done solution, be sure, Christopher Nolan wouldn't spend hundreds of Millions of Dollars for his movies ...

iPhone 6 camera on iOS 8 is amazing but the advantage of bugger iPhone screen isn't taken in the Camera, I think full screen camera for iphone would be better.
