The iphone i buy was jailbrake now it cannot be back up
the iphone i buy was jail brake i tried to restore it to it's factory condition.
It's not always possible to successfully revert to a pristine state after jailbreaking. Search google or these forums for DFU mode. You will need to restore it using DFU mode and try to get it back to a working state that way. Beyond that, there isn't really any advice we can give here.

I have a similar problem. I was receiving email on my iPhone for months, and then it quit working. When it quit working, I continued to receive emails on my iPad even though the server and port settings were exactly the same between the two devices. I tried deleting and re-adding my email account on the iPhone and restarting my iPhone, but I still couldn't receive email on the device. The only way I could get email to work on my iPhone was to switch to using a POP3 email server (this is the server that my phone auto detected when I re-added my email account) -- the server that was working previously and that is still working on my iPad is an IMAP email server. Since the IMAP server settings continue to work on my iPad, it seems that the problem is with my iPhone and not my email server.

will updating my iphone 5s from 7.1.2 to 8.2 lock it. my phone was initially locked.my friend brought it from usa.i gave a computer vendor rs 5000 and he said he will factory unlock the iphone.so it was unlocked in this way.its not software unlocked nor it is jailbraked.that vendor said that he will factory unlock it.wat i know is that there are some online sites which take some amount (equal to what i paid 50$ )and officially and factory unlock it

my friend got it unlocked from hyderabad ,there the mobile guy assured us that he will factory unlock it for rs 5000.. he just took the imei number and in 3 days iphone 5s was unlocked. he didnt take the phone so i knew he didnt jailbreak it or did some hacking stuff .. i have the box with me too with all accessories.but my friend doesnt know which carrier to it was locked....as his friend gave it to him from usa
on reading problems on net i just stopped the update via wi fi.fearing it will be locked again :/

Help me very urgent !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Go into iTunes, select the name of your iphone on the list on the left hand side of iTunes, looks right above the picture of your iphone and you'll see summary info apps etc. go all the way to the right and you'll see photos, check mark the box to sync photos and chose the folder where you imported the photos to your computer from.

Good day, I am writing to Apple because of the iPhone 4 i have for two years now and never had a problem with service or anything until the new update I.o.S7. It has created problems with my phone by being very very slow. I don't like how I am waitnig to go onto the internet or anything because this is taking up my usuages and makes me pay more to bell since this update had made my phone slow. This update is more for the iPhone 5/5C/5S and now any other latest phone. Please email back stating if anything can be done.

Just to clarify, there is no such thing as a iPhone 4G. The previous model was the iPhone 4, and the new one is the iPhone 4S. Apple is being careful not to use the term 4G due to the misuse of the term. Carriers are using the term regularly and Apple may have to start using the term to let consumers know that the new phone is as fast or faster than the phones already on the market using "4G or LTE". The IPhone 4S is capable of download speeds up to 14.4 Mbps, which is what the carriers are calling "4G LTE", but in actuality 4G is download speeds of 100 Mbps which isn't availible at this time. Oh, to answer your question, diesel is correct, the phones are identical except for color.

Apart from the lock button problem in iphone 5 the display brightness suddenly goes blank and becomes normal after locking and unlocking the iphone. The Apple service centre in India is denying to service the iphone as it was purchase in USA even though the iphone is in warranty.
iPhones do not have an international warranty. Warranty is valid only for the country of purchase. This is most likely because different countries require different iPhone models. Not reasonable to expect all countries to maintain stock for all models.

I have just started using the i phone 5 and have lost the Safari icon it was there now its gone ! any ideas guys

You might have swiped it into another icon by error if you were moving things around. You can find these easily as they have a black background.
Also, to see if you rae running an active Safari, double click on your bottom button and all of the active applicatiosn will come up. You can scroll through these to see if Safari is running (and not lost).

I have the iPhone 4, recently installed ios6 now my phone constantly turns itself off, keeps freezing and then 2 or 3 times in the space of 24hrs it has to be restored to factory settings. This has gone on for over a week.
If all basic troubleshooting has been tried and a restore as new does not resolve, take it to Apple for evalation and possible replacement.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
