The iPod doesn't want to turn on

Hi. My iPod touch 5 doesn't work. The screen is little bit loose, but the iPod still worked. But when it was approaching colder, I let the iPod be  next to the window at the nights, and after it, the battery began to be bader. When I had 100% power, 15 minutes later, it lost all the power. After a period with hard working, I began to use my telephone, and the iPod lay on the shelf, near the fireplace. It's warm there. But now, when I use a charger wich working, the apple logo comes, and after some seconds, it disappears. And after some seconds again, the logo comes at the screen, and disappears. All the time, while the charger are connected to.
- What's the problem?
- What should I do??

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer                            
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
