The ipod mini flatline story. please help me out
i was in the library today and my ipod froze so i was like
ok i'l just restart it.
i did and ...
!!!Vrink Vrink!!!
there was a pretty unhappy (apparently dead) ipod on the screen
i was like
no way!
this cant be happening!!!
so i restarted it again and it turned on fine.
so should i be on alert of my iPod dieing perminantly
or was it a one time thing?
please send me something!

hello, my ipod got disabled for years. Right now its disabled for 22,817,472. I asked around and people said to just restore it on itunes. But when i plug it in it says that it cant connect it the ipod because its locked with a passcode. Someone please please help me!!!!

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help
You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.

I have recently changed lap tops and moved my itunes library successfully.
However I cannot now synce my ipod classic with the new windows pc.
The lap top is not recognising the ipod.
I have spoken to apple and they think its a settings issue on my pc ? I have fully deleted and then reinstalled itunes .
can any one help ? This should be easy to resolve but appears to be a common issue when looking on the web.

My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc. -

I am trying to reinstall my ipod software through the CD that was sent to me however, whenever I'm trying to do so, a window pops up saying the following: 1607: Unable to install InstallShield Scripting Runtime. -VivianDoes your computer really have Windows ME on it Vivian? If so, be aware that the iPod/iTunes is not supported under ME. It can be done, but it requires some effort. See this:

When I try syncing music from my library to my ipod, I get the message that it lost connection. My ipod is plugged in to the computer though. Does anyone know how to fix this?
How is your iPod configured to sync music? In other words, what options and configurations do you have enabled from under your iPod's Summary and Music tabs in iTunes?

Itunes closing out whenever I tried to synce my devices. Please help me out. I have uninstalled and reinstalled ITUNES too.
Use Device Firmware Mode...
1. Turn off your ipod To do this, hold the home and sleep buttons for 10 seconds, ignore slide to power off message.
2. Release the power button when you see the apple logo (keep holding the home button)
3. Keep holding until you see a message.
Now restore from a backup!
Alternatively you can wait!
