The ipod touch 3g keeps respringing after i recovered it

My iphone was stuck at a white screen.
I recovered it with the DFU mode and then it installed ios 5.1.1
with it there was stated that it now was a new ipod touch
But after i installed ios 5.1.1 on it it kept respringing.
It goes from apple logo to a spinning circle and then keeps spinning for like 5 minutes
after that it reboots and goes to apple logo again
recovered it again but it keeps the loop..

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I don't get why the iPhone and iPod couldn't have just been released at the same day. What are your thoughts on why they chose to release the iPod Touch 5G a month after the iPhone 5?

Well, that isn't going to work in my case... I've ordered the iPod Touch 5 as a replacement for my iPhone 4, since I rarely use mobile 3/4G internet, what with so many WiFi Hotspots available that are both faster and cheaper. The iPod backup that iTunes makes does not inlcuded synced media like apps and music. Thes those iTunes are not restored to the iPod unless they are in the iTunes library.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
