i just bought macbook pro yesterday 22 july 2009 at 3 p.m.
I guess i don't know how to use it properly, but, i forgot to check the camera as we speak, because this macbook belongs to my sister, she done the checking, after we bought it, then we install a screen guard @ one of the apple vendor in indonesia. I think something happen, is it because of the screen guard that makes my isight camera looks like a VGA or, do I need to download some program and make the camera like any other macbook? (i check the macbook(which not pro) and the isight camera looks like a crystal clear camera of acer, which are good, to the best. Need help, because if the isight camera installed on my macbook pro is broken, then where should i go to fix it. (its a brand new item, i just bought it.) ><

If by "screen guard" you mean something that covers the screen something like shown in this image:
the guard may very well be what is causing your iSight's view to look more blurry than it would without the guard. Remove the guard and check to see if iSight image looks better to you. If it does, you merely need to decide whether you want to use the guard or not.

No. Unless you want to do something with your iSight that your Mac's bundled Apple software does not do, you don't need to add any applications program software.

Regardless of the native resolution of your inbuilt iSight, at least some of the applications in this list, including Apple iChat, for example, can only use your iSight at VGA resolution.
What resolution(s) is available in any software is a function of how the software is written, so read the documentation carefully if you are trying to add only software with resolutions higher than VGA.

If the above info does not help you resolve your problem, contact the retailer who sold you your MBP or a local Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider for service.

If you restore it as New it is most likely a hardware problem. Take it to an Apple store and they will replace it, as all iPhone 5's are still in warranty.

At this point you have no choice but to update the or delete them and reinstall them since you wont be able to use them until they update - or come out of the "waiting" loop.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again.

How can I create a frame tool in photoshop similar to the frame tool in InDesign? and fitting the image in the frame tool proportionally just like in InDesign?

I am working on a project and I know it can be done in InDesign but I am halfway done in Photoshop so I just need to know if there is a way to do this similar trick.

One way is to use Select>Color Range
Make a new Color Fill Layer>White
(Layer>New Fill Layer>Solid Color)
Put a new color fill layer below>black
Just invert the layer mask on the top fill layer for the opposite effect.

How do I get rid of the orange Firefox thing in my Location Bar? I want the interface to look just like Firefox 16.0.2

I installed Firefox 33 after Tumblr stopped working on 16.0.2, but now everything is jumbled. i tried Classic Themes installer and most things worked great, except for one thing: the orange Firefox thingamabob in the location bar. I can't change it back to the short, unintrusive globe it was in 16.0.2. Here is how it looked then and looks now, for comparison. (Also, the open tabs now have no border and the bars are a different color!)

Also, the Awesome Bar doesn't work anymore! Before I could type, say, the letter 'i' and it would show my a bunch of imgur pages. Now it doesn't do anything when I type anything, and won't work when i hit Enter to search. What is going on?

Hello, I have the same... well... "opinion".
The Firefox logo in the address bar is intrusive and takes away a lot of sorely needed horizontal space in it, for no reason but to display the Firefox icon a third time (in the address bar, on the tab, and on the window in my case where it doesn't bother me).
The screenshot the starter of this topic made illustrates perfectly what I mean - it unnecessarily clutters and overcrowds the horizontal space within the address bar. This is especially a problem for people who cannot use high screen resolutions due to being damned to forever keep using old CRT displays since all flatscreens cause excruciating eye pain (a minority no one cares about, I know - still where's the harm in making it optional?).
Does anyone here know of any Add-on that can remove this said clutter in the address bar? I would really appreciate it and be grateful. Or any (other) way to remove it for that matter... make it an option, whichever...

One SIMPLE, SIMPLE question that the answer seem to be no whre IN PLAIN ENGLISH! What do you have to do to have two of more tabs open at the same time. Just like ANY OTHER BROWSER LETS YOU DO! Ya know....so you can drag and drop things like pics etc.

For Pete's sake. This is not rocket sience. What more details do you want. I want two tabs OPEN at the same time so I can copy from one to the other or drag and drop from one to the other.

You can copy text and hover that selected text with the left mouse button down on another tab on the tab bar until that tab opens and drop the text in a text field in that tab. You need to make sure that that text area is visible because you can't scroll the page. You can also tear off that tab (temporarily) to a new window and resize them to see both windows. Move the tab back to the other window once you are done if you prefer that.

Serious problems using for the Airports and any devices like the new iPod or iPad 3 after installing Airport

I know this sounds crazy but I recently installed an Airport express and an Airport Extreme, I worked on it for several days and everything seemed to finally working like it should using manual configurations so it is all right as far as function goes. Later on I found out I had to do a restore on my new IPod and the latest iPad. No other changes were made to the system using snow lepoard 10.6. I tried for several days to restore these devices with no explanation of the problem. I could not use wi-fi or cellular to update any of the devices. Don't ask me why but I shut the computer down and removed every usb device except for the wireless key board that came with the latest iMac system. I made sure everything was the latest version of my applications. It did not affect my DSL or connection to the internet. I even removed the thunderbolt cable so I had 1 usb connection to the computer. The system was setup just like it came out of the box. I brought up iTunes and connected the USB cable to the iPad and selected restore. I had used iCloud to back everything up when I first bought the iPad and iPod. I also made sure iOS 6 was installed. I clicked restore and it loaded without any problem in just a few seconds without having to sync anything. I checked when it was done and it worked exactly like it did when I first bought them from Apple. The only strange thing that happened was I purchased a brand new generation iPod from Apple (which was made in China). I had not installed any apps for several weeks and had no problem with them. This seems crazy to me that you would have to reset he computer to it's original setup in order to restore the latest iPad and iPod software and devices. The only item that I did not have any problem with was the iPhone. Has anyone had this problem? If so how did you deal with it. Was it the airports, made in China the new iOS or the new iTunes that is causing this? gillie70

Try a reboot of your ipad. Hold the Sleep/Wake button and Home button simulataneously. Keep holding, ignoring the red slider, until the Apple logo appears. Release the buttons and let the ipad restart. A reboot often fixes numerous problems.
Also are you aware that by suncing with a different computer it is likely the personal stuff you had on your ipad from your imac will be removed?

This advice will sound like a joke or prank, but believe me it worked on my iPhone 5 and my daughter's. The lens mechanism got stock on each of our iPhones. We found a post on these message boards that said to hold the iPhone about 6 inches above a table or counter top and drop it so that it lands flat on it's back. Now try the camera ...Fixed! It has been more than six months now and neither of our iPhones have ever experienced the problem again.

You will need to troubleshoot to find out what needs to be fixed.
One of these suggestions may resolve your trouble.
FaceTime (and other video) quality problems can be caused by problems at either end of the connection. Unless your video callers' FaceTime connections work properly with everyone else but you, both parities to the video call should consider these possibilities.
(1) Restart your iPad and test again. Sometimes a simple restart fixes things.
(2) Use a fast broadband internet connection for best possible FaceTime video.
Broadband speed matters at BOTH ends, so you use something like http://speedtest.net/ to test both ends of your video connections.
Speeds less than 300 Kbps (up and down) at both ends are unlikely to give best results.
(3) Try from a different wi-fi connection.

Why does the isight on the mac blurry?

Everytime im on photo booth or facetiming, its just blurry. I just bought the macpro and just surprised that its blurry.

I think you mean "MacBook Pro". Take your new Mac back to the retailer who sold it to you ASAP and ask him to check the problem you see.

How to create more than one window for a vi that can be acces anytime...just like using the creating new window in internet explorer

I want to create a vi such dat when I press a button on the frontpanel of the vi it opens the same vi in another window..and I should be able to work on this new window also able to work on the previous window without closing it...Just like opening a new window when using the internet explorer....
I try to make my vi a reetrant vi but when I click the new window button on my vi..a new clone windows open up that I can control but the previous windows is not accessible not I close the current window...I want a way that I can acces both vi window and d operation of one will not affect the other like when the indicators are updating in one window the other window will not update...

Hi Jay,
Be aware that "Freeze Header Rows" and "Freeze Header Columns" apply only to rows and columns that are Header rows or Header columns. You can have up to five Header rows, Five Header Columns (and five Footer rows) on a Numbers Table.
"Header rows" is a special designation. Besides being able to be frozen, Header and Footer rows are not included in formulas referencing whole columns, making it possible to place formulas such as =SUM(B) at the top (or bottom) of column B without causing a self-reference error, These designated rows are also not included in sorts of the rows in a table.
