The Isolation Method property of the object you added has been set to read-only. The value must remain URL for the object to run in the page.
already for my vc iview isolation method properties set to URL .
Still iam facing this issue
any input to solve this isue

Hi ASR,
Please check page object is locked or not. if it locked then unlock it from system administraiton >> monitoring >> portal >>object locking. remove if page object is locked.

What transform engine does the 'transform' method on an xmltype object use?

Does anybody know what transform engine is used when I call the 'transform' method on an xmltype object? I would like to use extension functions within my stylesheets but do not know what functions are available or the syntax for using them. Is there any documentation on this processor?
I am using oracle 9.2.0.7.

Thanks for your responses. I guess being written in C makes it faster than the java one (?). I understand I won't be able to add my own extension functions, but does anyone know if there are any built-in ones, for example a node-set function?

Iview Isolation Method property

Hi,
The page contains 6 iviews, I created new iview and assigned to this page if refresh this iview complete page refreshing, I dont want this complete page refreshing only iview should refresh, for this reason I set isolation method property of iview is URL but data is not displaying, if I set property EMBEDED data is displaying but refreshing complete page. Please any body tells the solution.

hi,
It is not advisable for a particular iview to have isolation property as URL and others as embeded. You can do a round-about. You can place the particular iview for which u need to set isolation method as URL in a page and add this page to the main page where other iviews are placed.

I am using BIDS Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and running the package to load the data from excel .
My machine has 32 bit excel hence have set property to RUN64BITRUNTIME AS FALSE.
But the error still occurs .
I checked on Google and many have used Delay validation property at Data flow task level to true but even using it at both excel connection manager and DFT level it doesnt work

my Question is
what is the Best Method to move the Applcations to a New Server ?
1) Using Export/Import option .can I move the Applications/ Reports to New Server?
2) Is it possible By Taking Application level Export and Import to the new Server?
3)Do I need to create the Workspace as similar to old Server then Move the ApplicationS?
or taking the Application EXPORT/IMPORT also imports the Workspace?
(OR)
Do I need to import the Database tables taking table level Dumps as well?

You pretty much have it right. Here's what I do to move applications between APEX installations.
1) Export/Import Workspaces
2) Export/Import Applications for each workspace. (I retain the source application id in the target)
3) Export/Import Workspace Images/Files etc
4) Use Oracle exp/imp , Oracle DataPump or plain old sqlplus scripts to move database objects from source to target.

I have a SSIS project that I am newly running on the SQL server (2005) . It was previously run on my PC. I am importing data from a DB2 server to the SQL server.
I am in the SA group on the server
My connection to DB2 works
When open the package and run it in preview mode, I can retrieve the data.
When I execute the package I get the below errors:
[MIDAS OLE DB Source [1]] Error: The AcquireConnection method call to the connection manager "NGMDSPA.alharris" failed with error code 0xC0202009.
[DTS.Pipeline] Error: component "MIDAS OLE DB Source" (1) failed validation and returned error code 0xC020801C.
What I have already done that has not worked:
The original Protection level was set to EncryptSensitiveWithPassword.
I have reset the Package Password.
I have set the protection level to DontSaveSensitive
I saved the package on the server and set a Package Password.
I created a new package, set the Protection level to DontSaveSensitive, set a package password in a configuration file using the Package Configuration Wizard.

DB source connection. Therefore I know that I have a proper connection
If you're setting option as DontSaveSensitive then you need to pass the connection information from configuration file/ config table. Otherwise it wont be able to use it for connecting to your source/destination servers. This is the recommended way as it
will enable you to change connection info at runtime.
If you want connection info to persist you need to use protection level as EncryptSensitiveUsingUserKey or EncryptSensitiveUsingPassword and set a password.

I am using the EnableBitlocker.vbs script to automatically assign the TPM and start the encryption. I am running it from an elevated command prompt. Here is are the arguments I am running with

All is well and it prompts the user for a PIN but then it fails.
Here is the full log file. I haven't been able to find any info on the error code in the subject.

This error indicates that the group policy isn't set correctly, when configure the group policy at teh server side, you should notice that only one of the additional authentication can be required at start up , otherwise a policy occurs, the notice can be
found just like below:
and after test, the error indeed occurs, just like the screen below:
So, I suggest to check the group policy for bitlocker settings, you can only choose one start up authentication method.

Is the store that you bought the card from nearby so that you can try going back and asking if they can activate the card properly ? In that case, it should be possible. I haven't tried this directly, but I believe it should work.
You'll need to get an actual AirPrint compatible Printer.

Once you have the compatible printer, using the Hotspot feature from the iPhone he'll have to create the Wifi bubble form the iPhone, and connect the Printer to that Wifi network.
Then connect the iPad to that same Wifi network provided by the iPhone. When all that is done, the printer should appear in any of the Apps that can Print under the Action Arrow button.
For instance in email, pressing the action arrow should show a Print option. In there the printer should appear.
Alternatively you can simply buy a wireless router and setup the network through there even if there is no internet attached. Connect the wireless printer to the router network, and connect the iPad or iPhone to that same wifi network to print.
