The itune vedio option automatically blocked

When I checking the my 30GB IPod video options- Video, I found the page is blocked and it automatically pick the do not update videos.I CAN NOT DO ANY CHANGE ON THIS PART, I have not change any preferences of this Ipod, I just started using it yesterday...and I have tried to reset the ipod by pressing the keys on the ipod...but nothing changed....whats wrong with it?

How many pieces of artwork do you have in your iTunes library? Do you know what format they are in.
I am not certain you have done anything wrong. It may be possible for iTunes to support a picture format not supported by the screen saver.

actually its not in DFU which is suppose to be a black screen. When it powers on there is an image of Itunes logo and the usb cord. What happened is I did an update before I backed up my photos the phone worked great after the update no issues till it powered off. When I turned it on again it had those two icons and was forcing me to sync with Itunes to system default which will wipe out my media.

Are you asking how to download iTunes to your computer, or are you asking if iTunes should open automatically when you plug your iPad to your computer?

I recently tried uninstalling iTunes and then re-installing it so that I could get the iTunes Radio option. However, this did not work. I am not sure what to do in order to be able to play iTunes radio through my iTunes.

So I really would like to be able to use the itunes radio funciton. I tried re-installing itunes two times in hopes that it would somehow lead to me being able to use the itunes radio function. Since I am posting this on the community discussion, it is safe for you to assume that I was unable to get the function to appear on my itunes. If you could help me figure out this conundrum, I would be very happy with you.

Where are you? iTunes Radio is only enabled in the US so far.

Why don't the changes to my playlists and new songs (except the ones I buy from the iTunes store that automatically download onto my iPod) always sync to my iPod Touch 4th Generation?

I haven't yet tried it in iTunes 10.5.3 (I'm downloading it right now), but I don't expect that Apple has fixed the problem, if there is one. I have it set to automatically sync my music and sometimes it will work, usually when I make large changes. To overcome this, I have to unselect the (a?) playlist from the music sync for my iPod, sync it, reselect the playlist, and sync it again. It's very annoying to me. This problem exists whether I sync it with a cord or wirelessly. I have it set to backup on my computer (last generation MacBook (2010), base model, OS X 10.7.2).

The option to enable iTunes match can be found in settings > music. Note, you need to be logged into your iTunes account for which who have subscribed to iTunes match with.

Where is the Album Artwork saved that iTunes doesn't automatically download

I recently downloaded iTunes 7 and I love it's ability to show the album/CD art. Some of my CD's art was available on the iTunes store which the program downloaded automatically but the majority of it I had to find manually online. (Just FYI, Amazon Album Art is a fabulous widget to help with this, <www.widget-foundry.com/widgets/amazonart.htm>) Hours and hours later (large MP3 collection) I'm done. Now, as I have the same music library library on my office computer I want to have the art there as well. I copied the Album Artwork folder from my Home>Music>iTunes folder onto the office computer and launched iTunes but the only artwork visible was the artwork that the iTunes program had automatically downloaded. Where is the artwork that I painstakingly copied/pasted into the iTunes at home? Is it kept somewhere other than the Album Artwork folder?

Artwork that you manually add in the manner you describe is embedded inside the music files themselves (i.e. inside the mp3 files are you using).
Therefore if you use those same mp3 files on another computer the artwork will instantly be available.
Power iTunes users [including myself] prefer this approach [embedding artwork] for exactly this reason. I have therefore taken any artwork iTunes 7 downloaded itself and forced it to embed it in to my music.
I also have a suspicion that simply copying the [downloaded] artwork folder to another computer would probably not work since it appears it is using reference numbers in the file names which would be different on a different computer.

The itunes update server could not be contacted. Ran diagnostic and followed many support reccomendations with on success.

For at least the last 36 hours I have been unable to download updates from the itunes server for either itunes itself, or for iOS for my iphone (I need this since I am locked out of my phone). I was able to get around the problem of not being able to update itunes from the itunes server by downloading 11.0.4.4 from apple.com instead, but I don't believe I can do this for the latest iOS.
I have tried troublshooting from the support instructions for hours with no luck. Itunes is the only program that is having internet connectivity issues. I have tried disabling windows firewall, completely uninstalling my antivirus, and logging in/running itunes as an administrator. I have purged my hosts file and made sure that LAN settings are set to auto-detect. I have rebooted my router. There are no third party programs running that filter internet connections.
What else can I try?

I have completed the Advanced iTunes Store Troublshooting workthrough and my problem persists.
For reference I will detail the steps I have followed from the Advanced Support link iOS *08* provided above.
Isolate the issue:
1) the problem is with iTunes (I can connect to other secure websites, including the apple webpage + login).
2) verified the problem is not with the network (other devices on my network can connect and download iTunes updates).
3) I cannot resolve the problem by connecting to another network.
4) I have created inbound and outbound rules to allow all traffic to/from ports 80, 443, 3689, 5297, 5298, 5353, 8000-8999, and 42000-42999. I have allowed these ports full access to all network types and all programs. I have also made sure that all apple products, especially itunes, are allowed in the list of windows firewall exceptions.
5) My date, time, and timezone are correct.
6) I am using iTunes as an administrator. I have posted the results of the diagnostic network tests above in my Original Post.
Blocked by software Firewall:
I have allowed an exception in the firewall for itunes and bonjour.
It seems to be the case that:
"If there's no firewall preventing access, but the iTunes Store still does not work while other Internet services (websites) work, the iTunes Store may be blocked by your configuration."
Blocked By Configuration:
I have run iTunes Diagnostics (results above) and the "Secure link to iTunes Store" section did not pass
I opened IE, made sure I am "Never dialing a connection"
My LAN settings are set to "Automatically detect settings"
I do not have any proxy settings
I have unchecked "Check for server cerificate revocation*" under Advanced IE properties
I have enabled "Use SSL 3.0" and "Use TLS 1.0"
I saved and restarted. Still no joy.
Rebuild Network Information
I flushed the DNS Resolver Cache
As mentioned above I reset the host file to default, and also tried to alternate method outlined in the support document involving creatings a "Copy of hosts" file and moving, editing, and returning the file to drivers/etc.
I then restarted.

HT201209 I went onto my computer and set up an account...I entered my gift cards where it said redeem and there is $40 on my account. However,I have no idea how to use it. I read that I can take my credit card out and just use the itunes card but again

I went into the computer and set up my account, I then went to where you enter the gift card info to redeem the money and my account says I have $40...however, when I go and try to use it I can not figure out how to do so. I also read that I can remove my credit card info and just use Itune cards...but again i can not figure out how to do this.

Order of iTunes billing methods
When making purchases, content credits are used first, followed by Gift Certificate, iTunes Card, or Allowance Account credits; your credit card or PayPal account is then charged for any remaining balance.
When you buy individual songs from the iTunes Store:
Free song credits are redeemed first.
If you have no free song credits, gift certificate, prepaid card, and allowance credits are used next.
If your gift certificate, prepaid card, and/or allowance credit is less than the total cost of the purchase, your credit card is billed for the remaining balance.
If you have no free song credits or gift certificates, prepaid cards, or allowance credits, your credit card is billed for the songs you buy.
When you buy an album on the iTunes Store:
Gift certificate, prepaid card, and allowance credits are used first.
If your gift certificate, prepaid card, or allowance credit is less than the total cost of the purchase, your credit card is billed for the remaining balance. Note: Free song credits cannot be used for album purchases.

When I was using my iPod, before the iPad 2 came out, I bought a movie from iTunes. Now when I try to download it onto my iPad 2, The store tells me I have to purchase it. I can't find the movie in my "Purchased" section in the iTunes store.

Like most other things, the iTunes store should automatically say "Install" before you even touch the app if youv'e deleted it in the past. Why wont it do this with my movie? I first bought it on my iPod and deleted it. Now I have to pay for it again?

Not all iPhoto albums showing up in iTunes iPod options

Not sure when exactly this happened but I guess with the installation of iTunes 6.04.
Some of the albums I've created in in iPhoto do not show up in the iTunes iPod options.
I first noticed when trying to view photos on my iPod that images that had been there before were no longer available.
Anybody else experiencing this? Any idea on how to fix this?
I've already tried to restore my iPod and delete the iPod Cahe folder but that didn't help.

I had the same problem and noticed that the missing albums had been PhotoCast. Apparently these albums are not available for transfer to your iPod. When I Stopped Publishing the album, the problem was solved.

Is there a "Label" field in iTunes display options?

I always think there used to be a such a think, but there is no "Label" field in the iTunes display options. Where do you enter the label then?

What do you mean by "label"? There's lots of labels: Name label, album label, artist label, etc. Do you mean a label label? What you see is what is there. You can get things to show by right clicking the column header label, or View > options. If you don't see a label for what you want, use one of hte others and then just remember that's what you used it for. I use "Grouping" for storing studio information and release codes.

How do I stay signed in at the Itunes Store?

ITunes view options dialog missing

Hello, brand new Macbbok 13.3. When I select "View Options" in menu, or ⌘J, the View label flashes blue, but no dialog appears.

I was having a similar problem, and it turned out it had to do with how I set up my external monitor with my MacBook Pro. Specifically, when I had set up the external monitor to hold the menu bar, the iTunes View Options dialog box would not appear. When I moved the menu bar back to the laptop screen, I was then able to see the dialog box. If you're using an external monitor, double check the menu bar placement under the Arrangement tab of the Displays System Preferences.
