The jigsaw widget won't display when project is published

Hi all,
I am having trouble with the jigsaw widget. It will run when I just preview 5 slides but when I publish my project or preview in a browser it doesn't work. I just see the time and reset button but the puzzle pieces do not appear. I am using Captivate 7.

Thanks for the quick responce. I have tried deleting all of the opjects on the page just incase they were hindering it and that did not make a difference unfortunately. I should add that my project was created by importing slides from PowerPoint. Not sure if that makes a difference or not. I am new to this so I couldn't find any animation accordion or alpha settings. Here is a screen shot of my timeline though. As I said it works fine when I just preview 5 slides but but when published it doesn't seem to start playing and I just get the Reset button and the table with the time and score at the bottom of the screen.

Table style doesn't display when viewed or when project is published

I'm running RH8 (with RH8 Server). The table style no longer displays when viewed or when published. I checked the table style of the same project (but older version) and the styles to me looked the same. It displayed fine last week (famous last words), but this week something changed. Can anyone help?
The tablegradient.jpg can be seen in the project (image A), but when I view (eyeglasses), or if I open a published project, it doesn’t (image B).

I really do not know what has caused this but in your situation I would be looking at the CSS for the table now and when it worked.
After that I would probably create a new project and create the same setup afresh. That can often identify the cause of problems like this.

I recently changed my email on my apple account but the old email address is displayed when I go into iTunes or App Store not allowing me to sign into my account. At some points it's a vicious circle because it asks for a password at key times when trying to correct the problem. Note that the new email address shows when I log into my Apple account and shows it was verified. For some reason the system isn't updating to the new email in ALL places.

This doesn't make sense. The printer is exhibiting behavior noticed when a network printer is connected to a laptop while the laptop is connected to a VPN. But in this case, neither the printer is connected on a network, not is the laptop connected to a VPN per se.
Are you sure all the latest drivers for your laptop have been installed? That's pretty much the only thing I can think of right now.

The album artowrk won't display on my iPod.

To put it basically, the album artwork does not display on my iPod any more. It is shown in iTunes, and when I right-click on a song and look at its "info" It shows the artwork.
I have tried deleting all of the songs and re-adding them from their original files, but nothing happens. What can I do?
All songs have been purchased from iTunes.

Well you should be able to do this with the newest iTunes, I have no trouble doing this.
I just copy/paste an image into the artwork box. This doesn't work for you?
Doing this didn't didn't work in iTunes 7, but does in iTunes 7.0.1.

Layered text and graphic in Word won't display when converted to PDF

I have several simple shapes with text layered in front in my Word document. After they are converted to PDF using Acrobat XI, only the shape will display. I can tell the text is still there, because I can use my cursor tool to select it, but it won't display visually. It looks like it isn't there but it really is. One bit of text is even an internal link, and the link still works but I can't see the text I'm clicking on.
If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Hi Lori - this was perfect! It was an issue with the layers being misordered. I used the Edit Text & Images tool listed under Tools > Content Editing, found the layers, then by right-clicking I was able to bring the text to the front and it all looks great now.
I would like to know why this happened, or if not why, how I could make sure it doesn't happen again. If there's a check box or other setting I could use to remove this problem that would be fantastic.

SSRS 2008 R2 Map doesn't render (won't display when you preview it)

I'm trying to create a map where it displays the count of people in my DB for each state. There are 126,000 records in the dataset. I've looked at a dozen videos and gone through step by step instructions to make sure I'm not missing something.
The map will never render when I preview it. It stays gray and no data displays. I can't for the life of me figure out what is wrong!! Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm using the Map Gallery and doing a Color
Analytic map. I'm trying to display count(state) - but have also tried counting the id of the person. It's driving me nuts!

According to your description, you create a Color Analytic map using Map Gallery. When previewing the report, the map stays gray and no data displays.
In Reporting Services, a Color Analytic map must include the spatial data and the analytical data. In your scenario, since you design a Color Analytic map using Map Gallery, the spatial data is already embedded in reports located in the map gallery, then
you should add analytical data to the map. As you mentioned the analytical data for count of people comes from the database, you must specify match fields to relate the spatial data and the analytical data when designing the map. If there is no match fields
in the map, it’s expected that no data will display when previewing. So please check if you specify the match fields correctly.

HT201250 The back ups are not displaying when i enter the time machine

I'm trying to restore my files to my new MacBook I just purchased. I have the external hard drive connected and entered the Time Machine. But, the back-ups are not displayed "in pink on the right side" as indicated in the directions. I do see the back up folders when I open up the hard drive using Finder. Any ideas on how I can restore my files?

On a mac the type tool will not display when i double click on the type button in the layers panel

I figured out the issue. The Text Tool was displayed but it was off the bottom of the screen. I had to resize the window from the bottom to display the Text Tool. To do so I had to move the dock to the left and then learn that by using the Option key it is possible to change window size on both edges.

The "apply" button didn't display when I was using the "write back" option

I followed the "System Administrator's Guide" to configure the write back function, unfortunately,

Just to check, did yiou restart the presentation services after placing the xml file?
Is the template name in answers "SetKPIValue" consistent with the .xml file as you mentioned?
Now, if you could try by putting a hard coded value in the update statement as well.
Also, is the location where the .xml file is kept is,
ORACLE_INSTANCE/bifoundation/OracleBIPresentationServicesComponent/coreapplication_obipsn/analyticsRes/customMessages
P.S. Numeric columns must contain numbers only. They should not contain any data formatting characters such as dollar signs ($), pound signs or hash signs (#), percent signs (%), and so on. [Oracle Admin Guide]

Why does yellow disappear from graphics when project is published?

Our Captivate 6 project has two images that include the color yellow (ffff00). One is a .bmp and the other is a .png file. When the project is published to our Adobe Connect server or to a SWF file (Adobe Flash player 10) the yellow color changes to white on the output.
What is causing this and how do we fix it?

Hi there
Captivate does everything in its power to be bandwidth friendly so that the end user doesn't have to wait for gobs of data to be transferred down the wire. Part of this is to set the Slide Quality to low. You may need to adjust it to be Optimized in order to get the yellow to render correctly.
It will affect the resulting file size a bit, which is why you are warned with a dialog. But if it's a slide here and there, adjust the quality and see if yellow returns. (Slide Properties panel, General section)
If you find yourself having to adjust nearly every slide, you want to click Edit > Preferences > Project section > SWF Size and Quality.

Why the sign-off page Not Displayed when I do SSO Logout ?

I am using Oracle SSO 10.1.4.1 and OID 10.1.4.1 and registering our ADF application to participate in the SSO.
When I call SSO Logout from the web application with this URL :
http://myserver:port/pls/orasso/orasso.wwsso_app_admin.ls_logout?p_done_url=http://myserver:port/portal/page/portal/myPORTAL
It just do the Logout "Silently" and then redirect to http://myserver:port/portal/page/portal/myPORTAL.
Doesn't it should firstly display a page that shows the list of all application that will be logged-Off ?
Why that sign-off page does not get displayed ?

Looking at the product version you mentioned, I assume you are referring to Oracle Access Manager. When you configure a Logout URL, it will just end the session by killing ObSSOCookie and take you to the Logout URL as specified by the Administrator. OOTB, it wont be able to display the list of the applications you will be logged off from. This needs custom development to achieve what you are expecting. First you need to find out what all applications the user is logged in or to what all applications the ObSSOCookie session is passed and then display them on the Logout URL.

Hp monitor 2207h won't display when tower is turned on

When tower is turned on the monitor will not display. I know it's on as it flashes the pictures & goes competely black. Even
then Iit makes the usual sounds.

Try hooking up the monitor to a different computer to establish if the problem is with the monitor or the computer's graphics card.

Two of our computers using the same emails won't communicate when an email has been answered, how do we fix this?

My coworker and I answer emails in 2 shared work emails and I have access to my personal email and her's to answer work questions. Lately when she answers an email in our orders inbox, and marks it off as answered with our assigned highlight, it won't transfer the info to my computer's inbox. I'm left thinking they're still unanswered. We've been double-answering many customers which seems strange and shouldn't happen. How can we get them to communicate more efficiently again. This has only been happening the past couple of months.

Have you followed the rest of the instructions on the TS2446 page that you posted from e.g. you've logged out of your account on your phone by tapping on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then logged back in ?

Marker Won't Display When Y Axis in Descending Order

I'm using an RTF to create charts. I'm using bi-publisher desktop version 11.1.1 and have Office 10 loaded.
If I add markerDisplayed="true" to my line chart, the markers display on the line and in the legend. But, when I add
<Y1Axis axisMinAutoScaled="false" axisMinValue="1" majorTickStepAutomatic="false" majorTickStep="2" ascending="false" />
the markers disappear from the lines but stay in the legend.
For instance, this works (displays markers on lines and legend):

Add the code to sort the Y axis in descending order and start at 1, not o, and the markers disappear from the lines but still show up in the legend:
