The key 0000 already exists; the entry was ignored

Hi All,
We are getting the following error messages, when we open up a web application for Integrated Planning.
We have a dropdown box for the Fiscal Year variable in our application.
'The key 0000 already exists; the entry was ignored'
'The key 2012 already exists; the entry was ignored'
The long text on the error does not give any other information than repeating the error message.
Any ideas?

We have a web application designer and we have multiple queries in it and we are using the common variables accross them.
This is a very common scenario. Isn't it? What did you meant check for duplication?

in our BI planning aplication a also in some reports are very frequent mistake announcement Key already exist, entry was ignored.
I found this , but I can´t find any general advice for our problem. In WAD we use one variable in more queries in one template, but it also frequent in some report, where I use only one variable for one characteristic.
Do you have any general solution for it?

Add word variation to already existing index entry

Dear Common Wisdom:
Hi!
I have an index and want to add a variation of a word already in the index and have InDesign use both words in the index listing, not as a sub listing.
For simplicity, say I was the singular and plural forms of the word to show up together under the same entry.
How do I do this?

The index entry you insert in the dialog is the one that gets listed in the final index. If you have both "index" and "indices", and you add the entry for "indices", ID shows the Add Entry dialog with this word. Change it to "index", and ID will use that instead.
(In fact, putting the selected word or phrase into the dialog is just a convenience method. You can also change the text in there to "wow--ee", to have that appear in the index. The 'entry' has nothing to do with the 'real' text in your document -- which is kind of a pain if you make corrections and expect the index to follow automatically.)

I make changes on the calendar of my MacBook Pro but the changes do not take and revert to what the entry was prior.

For the past week or so, I have made changes to the calendar on my MacBook Pro. The changes do not "stick" on my MacBook calendar and do not sync with any other device (iPhone or iPad). I just can't figure this out. Anyone have any suggestions?

By everything, I am assuming you have tried resetting the SMC (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964) and PRAM (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379). If you haven't tried this yet, please do!

The update you're talking about was the firmware update. Hopefully resetting the PRAM gets you up and running. Try resetting it 3 times in a row (hold the keys down until you hear 3 startup chimes).

Planning 9.3 Duplicate member error: An object with the name 0000 already e

Hi All
I have 5 dimensions in my Planning applications namesly, Company, State, Product, Entity and Account
Company hase members called 0000(default) and 1000, 1001 etc
I also want add my Entity default member as 0000, but when I tried to add the memeber in my entity dimension I'm getting the Error : An object with the name 0000 already exists: Please help me to fix this

U won`t be able to add the duplicate item name to planning application untill it would be the 9.5 version.
By the way, NotPlanning App`s nothing like as scanty - they has already an option "Allow duplicate item names" in 9.3 version..

Some of my appointments dissappear from the date on which they were scheduled and revert to the day on which I made the entry - this happens to only some entries not all

I am currently finding it almost impossible to use ical. sometimes when I make diary entries the entry appears as I have entered it in ical but the next day a selection of entries are no longer in their correct position but are listed as all day events for the day on the entry was made. This is a problem that has only emerged in the last couple of weeks but I am not aware of having changed any settings during that time. I would be very grateful for any advice.

Well, there isn't any family member who could do that, because they don't have any access to my iCloud, so the second one is not an option for sure!
Also, I am positive that photos don't stay in the stream only for 30 days, because I've had those photos from mid-end September in my iPhone, why did they just disappear?They should've disappeared long ago!Also, in my previous device I had photos stored in my stream for up to 8-9 months and they never disappeared, so this one doesn't seem to be the answer!

Excise invoice already exists error in J1IS

Created the Subcontracting PO , and Issue the material to vendor ( mov type 541) with payment of duty, after this created the Excise invoice with T.code J1IS, system was generated the Excise entries in table J_1IEXCDTL and J_1IEXCHDR.
After that we have reversed the excise entries, so now we got "R"Indicator in status field in above said table J_1IEXCDTL.
Now system should allow me to create one more excise invoice with same Material document number but sytem was giving error message that "excise invoice already exists"
Why system was allowing us to create new excise invoice?

you can't create another Excise document with same Material Doc.Because for this Material document already Excise document exit even though it is reversed.i think you have to delete Material document from J_1IEXCDTL and J_1IEXCHDR. then try to create new

Recruitment-Applicant Actions- Applicant 00000001 already exists

I am facing a problem while processing applicant data. My Hiring action from PB40 --> Initial data entry is working well.
Now I want to insert additional data for applicant. I have configured "additional data entry actions as follow
Recruitment>app selection>applicant actions

Web Matrix FTP Remote Connection Error - "Connection Error - Failure to get file list from server. An entry with the same key already exists."

Does anyone have experience with this issue when connecting to a Linux FTP Web Server running a FTP Site?

I cannot access the root directory of the ftp file server using Web Matrix 3. The site is .php based, and
is accessible when connecting with FileZilla or Remote Connecting via FTP with Visual Studio.
All sites have been deleted from Web Matrix, the user Application Data has been cleared and Web Matrix has been reinstalled.
Issue Persists....

Turns out that the program leaves metadata in your app data folder that is not removed upon uninstallation of the software.
This is incorporated to communicate with a file that uploaded into the ftp directory when publishing pages.

The computer is Windows 7 Professional 64-bit edition version 6.1 Build 7601 service pack 1. The computer is not in a domain environment. I believe this may be a security issue however I completed an in-place windows 7 upgrade to try and fix the problem

I ran sfc /scannow and check disk on the hard drive with both reporting no errors.
I updated the security profile for:

In the right pane, double click "Require use of specific security layer for remote (RDP) connections", in the security layer list, select RDP.

The relevant status code says that the "Object already exists" which I think is far more relevant then some memory issue. Do I have to delete some file or registry entry? Or is it a security issue?
Google search have come up with nothing. Any suggestions would be very helpful!

Have a solution for you:
Download makecert.exe and generate new cert for RDP

Change server FQDN with real value.
Go to computer certificates and under remote desktop delete current certificate. Then from personal store move the newly created cert to Remote Desktop. Open the cert and copy Thumbprint.
Open regedit and go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\WinStations
Update SelfSignedCertificate key with new cert tumbprint.
Restart Remote Desktop Services service

This Entry Already Exists in the Table (UDO1)

Hello All,
I have created a Document Type Form with one Document and one Document Rows Table .
Their is no Manage Series option checked in the Registration as it is without any series.
Now the entries were going smoothly untill the record no. 116 then after that the user tries to add the document no. 117
system is showing an error message " This Entry Already Exists in the Table ( UDO1) " and the data is not getting added.
I have checked the Header & Line Tables both tables conatins data upto 116 record.
But still is not getting saved.
Their is no Series feature in this form (No Manage Series ) the numbering the going as per SAP .
Please suggest how to solve this problem without hampering the already entered data.

I think this problem happens due to wrong content of SDMKIT.JAR - incorrect crypto SDA is deployed.I dont know the installation procedure you followed because normally this error wont come.
I would rather suggest a work around seeing your problem

Im getting a [RDN1.WhsCode][line:3], 'This entry already exists in the following tables(ODBC-2035)'
This message is presented frequently in returns and credit memos. Our company uses batch numbers for our items. When the item is returned, is returned to a different warehouse from it was originally delivered, so we change the warehosue in the return form and credit memo form. So we need to click the "create" button in the batch selection window, because there are no batch numbers to be selected.
Any Ideas as how to solve the problem?

This entry already exists in the following tables Message is always related to duplicated record creation or application error. For you case, I think it is better to return to original warehouse first and do inventory transfer to the actual return location in the second step.

I have some trouble adding new invoices into SAP. Copying from the Sales order to an AR Invoice the following error occurs
Firstly, I get a system message "The Customer ref. no of this type already exists" on processing it follows with a status error when copying the order to AR Invoice
"This entry already exists in the following table 'Vat Transactions' (OTAX) [Message 131-183]"
"Exclusive code already exists '1486759'"
any ideas to resolve this

What happens if the user had performed a Update Query on the OTAX table and then added the invoice he was unaware that he should not run UPDATE queries on database. But invoices to which the update query was not executed cannot be added.
The query follows :
UPDATE TAX1
SET AbsEntry = XXXXXX where AbsEntry = YYXXXXXX
Select Top 15* from OTAX INNER JOIN TAX1 on OTAX.AbsEntry = TAX1.AbsEntry
ORDERBY OTAX.AbsEntry DESC;
