The keyboard does not come up when I try to edit contacts on my i4s
Please help
The keyboard will not appear when you first hit the Edit button. It will not appear until you tap into one of the fields that you want to edit, such as name or number.
If it still isn't appearing there, then try powering the phone off and then back on again, test. Still not working? Then try a reset, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. This will not affect any of your data. See if it works after that.

Entry in contact list does not show up when you try to edit the list in v4
When clicking the "To" box for a new message I have as the last entry a name in bold that is not something I recognize and when going into my contact list so as to remove it, it does NOT show up.
How do I get rid of it? IE: find it so as to delete it. Search in windows 7 does not locate the file. Below is header when asking for source.

//]]></script>If you created a new AppleID with the new email address, then that is exactly what will happen. Purchases are permanently tied to the AppleID you used when buying them. Anything tied to an old(er) AppleID is forever tied to it and you need that older AppleID's password to update those apps.
Your only option is to buy those apps again, paying a second time, to get them under your new AppleID.
For future reference, if you just wish to change the primary email you are using for your AppleID, you should log in to the "Mange your AppleID" section at https://appleid.apple.com and just edit the primary email address for your existing AppleID. -

When on a site with a PDF download I wish to open, when I click on download the site commences to open in a new Tab but the information does not come through? This happens on all sites. The advanced Java Script is disabled. The new tab will sometimes flash black then go white with nothing else happening or just go white & nothing else?
I had the same problem and also had PDF Download 3.0.02 installed. By removing this addon I can now select a PDF document which then opens up a normal Open With/Save dialogue allowing me to open the file or save it. Hope this helps.

I just got got a new phone and want to put my music and pictures on it from my computer. My music is in in itunes and when I sync my phone the music does not come over. What's going on? I'm using itunes ver.11.0.5.5

Hi, I am trying to delete some aps, but the delete "x" does not come up when the ap is pressed. Anyone know how to fix. Also, my ipod is turning off on its own and won't power back on unless I plug it in although it is fully charged.
For the apps:
- You can't delete the apps that came with the iPod
- Go to Settings>General>Restrictions and see if there is the Restrictions set that prevents deleting apps -

It seems your iPhone is slowing down and not responding frequently. To rectify this issue you may want to consider performing a restore on the device, and then restoring your data from a backup via iCloud or iTunes.

Report does not come up when called from Forms
I have installed Oracle 9i database and dveloper suit on my pc. When I run reports from forms, the report does not come up. I have Adobe Acrobat reader 6. The report does get created, I can see it in the cache directory.
It created an error file, I am posting the begining of this file here.

Looks like this is not a Forms side problem or even a Reports Servlet problem
Some guesses.
From the exception

it looks like engine crashing. Did you see the server GUI up and running ? Server might not have started
Give
rwserver server=<server_name> in command line.
The server GUI should come up and show "ready "
You have multiple Oracle Homes on the same machine. So this could be a PATH problem.
1) Go to ControlPanel -> System - Advanced - Env variables - System Variables
Copy the IDS specific PATH to clipboard
Go to iDS_HOME\bin\ and open a command window. Set only the above PATH here. Start a standalone server
rwserver server=<server_name>
and try
(If this works you could write a batch file later)
2) For trouble shooting purposes use a different server name to start the standalone server.
3) Also look in your registry
HKLM\Software\Oracle\Home<x>\
Here please see whether you have any "very long" environment variable (say more than 256 chars or 512 chars).
This is just a guess.
4) To confirm this is not a Reports servlet problem
give
rwclient report=<report_name> + ..... <server=server_name>
If you get same error, then it is not a servlet problem. It could be that Reports server is crashing

I want to email a Pages document as a Word doc. I used to be able to do this by clicking on 'share' then 'send via mail' then on 'Word' and an email would appear with my word doc attached. Now the email does not come up. Why?
It's difficult to do more than guess when you don't say what version of OS X or Pages you're running, but if you're on the latest, have you tried the Share menu -> Send via Mail command?
If that doesn't help, you may have better luck if you ask in the Pages forum:

After installing Mountain Lion, iMessages and Facetime does not work. When I try to sign-in I get a message that says: The server encountered an error processing registration. Please try again later. After 4 calls to apple and 8 and a half hours on the phone. The apple people does not how to solve the problem. The last thing they told me is that they will send the problem to their engineers and I will hear from them. unfortunately they have not contact me.

When I hook my iphone 4 up to itunes, it does not show up on the left. It will not sync, and the lightning bolt charging indicator on the phone does not come on although it appears to be charging over time because the battery level has increasd.
I am running Mac OS X, up to date as is my iTunes. I tried the steps from the website troubleshooting guide and nothing worked.Additionally, charging through other devices such as my car charger has the same symptoms.
