Could you provide a little more information? Is it just not appearing? Does a balnk space appear on the screen instead?

Hi Jen. My daughter just compleated her nursing program and is now working as a full time nurse. Focus and study hard and soon you will be there too. Now to the problem at hand. I have the same problem. I gave up on it and satisfied myself with my iPod without the upgrade. Reason being I've read so many posts of people having problems after the upgrade. But I'm sure other factors are involved. Nevertheless here is the fix most say works to solve the problem: What ever virus protection you have installed on your computer, disable it. Then try to install the update. After that enable the protection. I had Kaspersky, and it does it's job well. The thinking is, the virus protection is blocking the upgrade. Hope this works. Charlie

My address bar at the bottom of the screen has gone. How do I get it back?
I find it invaluable to know the addresses as they're loading - I don't know why it's disappeared and I can't figure out how to get it back. Can anyone shed any light on this?
Alternately, when you hover over a link, the address of the link now shows up on the right end of the ''actual'' address bar instead of at the bottom of the screen.

The airplay icon was on my computer and would play at a friend's house but now the icon is gone. How do I get it back?

You only see that Bookmarks Menu button with the drop marker on the Bookmarks Toolbar if the Menu bar is hidden.<br />
Otherwise you can use the Bookmarks menu to access that list. -

where is the add gone and how do i get it back?You should be able to authorise the account on that computer via the store drop-down menu at the top of it e.g. on a Mac (a PC should be similar) :
If you are on iTunes 11 on a PC then pressing Alt-S should open the Store drop-down menu.
But if you've managed to add it back into the Apps section of your iTunes library then isn't that account already authorised ? -

Have to say, I've been messing with this for 30 minutes just trying to figure out how to post a question. Very frustrated.
How do I get back the bar that iTunes used to have which showed me what content on my iPad was eating up memory? The iPad itself doesn't seem to show that, I had to hook to iTunes to see it. Now that's gone.I suspect unless he had some items in iCloud backup then they are gone. Connecting an iPhone to a different library from that to which it was previously connected will result in the device asking if you want to erase it.

I have just turned on my computer, then itunes.
What I found was nothing. I store all my files on an external hard drive and wasn't connected when I first loaded it up.
I have tried loading up itunes with the hard drive and even my playlists and videos have gone.
How can I reload all the tracks without manually putting all my music, videos, photos and podcasts?

If it was on the external drive, you may be able to reconnect with it by starting iTunes with the shift key held down. This allows you to choose a library.
