The last 10 minutes of a video I made is deleted.

I recorded a video using my Ipad 2. The video was a little over 32 minutes which I verified before I ended the recording. Once the recording ended, it is now only showing 23 minutes of the video. How do I recover the last 9 minutes of my video? It's super important that I recover it as it is for a class assignment.

Target is the the hard drive and a DVD. It makes a m2v file and compresses it to fit on the DVD, as far as the bit rate, it doesn't show what it is, at least not anywhere I can find. I believe the m2v file is corrupt because if I remember correctly I tried to take that file and burn a DVD from Toast and it came out the same.

I recently exported a movie in Final Cut as i almays do, with Quick time compression, then imported into DVD Studio Pro 4 ans looks that fits ok in the DVD Lenght, it's 4.5 Gb, but when i burn it and check it on my tv the last 15 minutes looks droped and the image turns in to big square pixels...
The lenght of my video is 1:43 hours, i don't know if this could be a problem of the maximum capacity of the DVD that seems to be 4.3 Gb Maximum.
Please help as soon as you can, cause i have to deliver the DVD as soon as posible.

Not sure what your original footage was shot on or the source material, but you may want to try exporting as a uncompressed codec and straight from the timeline without using QuickTime conversion. You can be taking a quality hit there, particularly if you are then dropping it into DVD SP, which it sounds like you are doing. The default preferences in DVD SP for encoding may be too high and using the PCM uncompressed audio can be putting too much bandwidth through. If the last 15 minutes is different (more pans, zooms, etc.) that could be what is happening. Kind of hard to tell without seeing the footage or your settings on the project. Also bad media (brand of DVD) can cause the issues and also bad burns. Is it the entire last 15 minutes, or more pronounced during certain cuts/edits?
Try this
1.) Export the movie from the timeline using Quicktime (not Quicktime conversion).
2.) Set up Compressor with a 7.5 CBR video preset and a AC3 192 preset. Take a look at this movie. I went with the assumption that what you are encoding is a NTSC 4:3 video target, otherwise things would be tweaked more. Also note that if something else is also being done (such as your source is originally PAL or something else) other steps should be done. Lastly, set the CBR to aout 5.5 and not 7.0 CBR just trying to get you in the ballpark and when doing the movie I used 7. 5.5 should fit 1 hour 43 minutes on a DVD-5 and leave enough bandwidth room to work if in fact it is a high encoding issues. There is a good chance that two pass VBR could give better results at a lower rate, but it really depends. If you are using bad media, could be a problem. What is it? Verbatim? Sony? Taiyo Yuden? + or -r?
Also note in the movie I am double clicking the m2v and Dolby at the bottom of the screen to call up the dialog/inspector and that you should drag or place you movie into Compressor before applying the presets as in the end of the movie. Just makes things a bit quicker.

3.) Take the movie from Final Cut and drop it into the Compressor window, then submit the job. You will have an m2v and AC3 file as a result (note that the encoded files default to be encoded to the same folder as the .mov you dropped in, but you can send it elsewhere if it is easier to find.)

How to find out the rows inserted in the last n minutes ?

I have a log table where, every time a warning is issued, a new row is added. The table has a field with the sysdate when the warning was issued.
I'd need to collect all warnings in the last (supposing) 30 minutes and send a mail to the administrator. Looking at some faqs I have elaborated this:
select * from PROCEDURE_LOGS p where ((p.DATE_LOG - sysdate)*-1440) < 30
However this does not produce anything.
Can anybody help me to correct this statement ?

That looks okay to me. Are you sure you have rows in the table with a date_log in the last 30 minutes? Post some sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements), and the results you expect from that data for a given value of SYSDATE.
By the way, you can make the WHERE clause clearer like this:
select     *
from      PROCEDURE_LOGS     p
where      ( (sysdate - p.DATE_LOG)
     * 1440           -- = 24 * 60
     ) < 30but this won't change the results.

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

I can send and receive calls.
I get "messaging stopped" when doing a lot of texts.
Texts come up "ghosted" meaning they have the text on the bottom and a transparent one overlaid on top. they then become one. But I get the ghosting most of the time when I go into a message from a contact to send a text.
When I go to call logs or text logs, the numbers come up first, and then then the names pop up randomly, meaning not in order down the page, until they are all shown. lots of lag time.
It runs slow.
I have 5 apps on here. I should be able to have a lot of apps on here, and play music, and have files, and...and....and.
I can get online but doing a Google search, when the page with the choices comes up, it is blurred and I have to tap on the screen for it to become clear and readable.

I've wondered about the utility of the FROM and UNTIL options for backup of archivelogs. If one is going to back them up, why would one use an option that distinctly introduces the possibility of having gaps - un-backed-up archivelogs? Why would one not simply back up all archives not previously backed up at least once?
I'm sure you'll give me a valid response for a situation for which my imagination fails to see.

Query a log for error in the last 30 minutes

I'm trying to parse a plain text log file for errors and then send an email.
The error code I'm looking for is "297 WARN". I only want to check the last 30 minutes of the log file and will run the PowerShell parsing script every 30 mins.
I'm stuck at the bit where I make PowerShell only scan back the last 30 minutes. When I run the script below without the substring it works but parses the whole log file. How can I get it to stop parsing at the 30 minute timeline??

Any app that allows me to record the last few minutes of audio continuously?

I need an app that allows me to record the last N minutes of audio continuously until I stop it.
So, say I want it to record just the last 5 minutes of audio.
I could potentially have it recording for hours but I don't want an audio file that is mutli hours long - I just want the last 5 minutes.
You might ask, why I would want this ?
Say, you're trying to record something, but you don't know exactly when it'll happen, and when it a happens, it doesn't last long enough for you to turn on the phone and start recording.

I saw an app exactly like that in the App store months ago.
It was for lecutres primarly.
When opened it always "records" like to build a buffer though not really saving. When you press record it will start really saving and can go back a ways based on options. So a student can listen to lecture but only press the record button when wanting to save something and have it able to save back x amount of time and forward until told to stop.
Sounds like exactly what you want. I just don't remember what it is called.

When I downloaded it, it appeared as if nothing was happening but it actually was being downloaded! It took quite some time to download. I suspect the internet speed affects how quickly it moves.

Calculate the number of the last X minute peaks

I am working on a SW which counts the peaks comes from a sensor.
Using Producer/Consumer method , one in aquiring the data and the second is finding the peaks using peak detector VI.
I was wondering if there is a simple way to calculate and show the number of peaks in the last X minutes . For example, in heartbeat there is average heart bear and the most updated last minute count of beats.

I would try it with a ring buffer only holding the time of a peak/pulse.
Buffer size would be max_pulserate (200 ) times max_time.
Calculating pulses per time frame would be a compare and add array

Connect your iPhone to Computer. On iTunes left Pane, under "Devices" right mouse click iPhone and select "Restore from Backup..." then select one of the three backup (Date and Time)
