The Last Post column on forum home page

Is it my imagination, or does the Last Post column keep appearing and disappearing from the forum home page?
I've seen it a few times, I think, but then it vanishes.

Hmmm...interesting.
When I'm reading a forum and want to go to the main Forum Home page, I click on the "Forum Home" link in the upper left corner of the page (just under the Oracle logo).
The link has this url: http://forums.oracle.com/forums/index.jspa?categoryID=84 which is slightly different than the two you posted.
When I click on it, I end up at the first link you posted. But sometimes I see the Last Post column and sometimes not.

Not taken to the last post...

When I want to report spam, I use a bookmark that takes me to the first message in the Spam forum. If I click on the "Reply" button of this first message, I get the box for writing my report, but the "last" message above it is #49. not the #282 which is the last at the time of wrinting this:
When posted, my report appears where it should, but this is annoying. I have observed this for some time now -at least for some weeks- but I had not noticed how annoying it is until Sunday, when I had to post many times there.
This happens in Firefox/Mac, but I have just checked and it also happens in Safari/Win 7. And it also happens in other long threads: trying to reply to their first message takes me below message #49, not below the last.
Also, if I click on the Latest Reply button instead, I am at least taken to the last page of the thread, but not to the last message.
Anyone else?

I think I'm not following you. In your previous thread you said

And this is exactly the problem I am reporting. I haven't said that I get the same effect whatever means I use to try to go to the last message. I do get it when I use a way that I have been using for years: to use a bookmark to go directly to the Spam thread (instead of looking for it in the list of threads, as many times it is necessary to scroll down to get at it), and to click on the Reply button of its first message.
Incidentally, I get the same problem if I go to the Spam thread by using the link provided at the top of the list of topics in this forums. And yes, I also use the Discussions tab by default.

Try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

Loading speed of Forum home page

Whenever I enter the forum home page after some idle time, it takes 10-20 seconds to load. This seems excessive.
Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me (possible because of higher than average activity )?
What could be the problems? Maybe the server has issues collecting all the "custom" information to construct the page?
To test, I tried a few things, e.g. dont display the subscriptions at the bottom. bzzt! Doesn't work! I could not find a way to disable the display of subscriptions, at least one must show! (If I set "Number of Displayed Subscriptions" to zero, it displays all of them instead. )

Thanks Molly for confirming my suspicion that it had to do with subscriptions. I now removed all subscriptions and the speed is definitely improved.
If I had a way to sort threads according to last activity in the list of my posts, subscriptions would be less important. Ths has been requested elsewhere and should be on top of the to-do list.
Maybe we should have an option to auto-expire subscriptions after a defined time interval (1 week, 1 month).
We should have an option to not show any subscription on the front page. The current minimum is one. Setting it to zero display all messages instead.
Maybe you just need a faster server. It should be able to handle a few altenbachs .

How to go to the last post in a discussion?

Hi,
in the ist of posts in a discussion, how can I jump to the last post or page directly? Previously I could click on the time of the last post which brought me directly there.

You can't do it like you used to from the forum view, but if you open a thread then there should be a 'latest reply' link above the first post on the page - that should take you to the last post on the thread, but it doesn't appear to be working for all people (for some people it's taking them to the penultimate page on the thread).

Swipe through your screens and swipe to the left of your Home screen. Type in App Store in the search field. It's a permanent pre installed Apple app so it can't be deleted.
If you can't locate it on the iPad for some reason, connect the device to your computer. Right or control click the iPad under Devices left side of the iTunes window then click: Restore from backup

How do I solve the problem?

Hi,
For an Update termination you need to go into the System Log to check the real cause of the termination.
My guess is that the document number has already been used. It has happened to me and I found no cause for that.
I did the following then:
I checked the highest used document number in that number range and corrected the from number of the number range.
Then I went into the TABA table and corrected the entries there that they corresponded to the number range.
Then I did a manual reconcilliation between AA and GL. In my case they matched, If they don't you would need to post manually to the GL to get them to match.
Then I ran recalculation of asset values. and finally an unplanned depreciation run.
For me it solved the problem.

I need some help. I want to create a Bex Variable with Customer Exit, and i need to modify the ABAP code in order to get the last posting date of Data in my request. I'll like to create to create with BEx Query Designer a request that allows me to make my report on the most recent data only.
Eg. Let's say today before leaving the work I launch a routine that provides me during the night data for my R/3 system and I'm wonking in a BW environment. Tomorrow, i'll like to compose any request guiving me informations only on what i loaded yesterday without typing the date. I'm oblige to use a variable, but I need the corresponding Abap code. Can some one help me please ?

You want your query to return results from only the most recently loaded request. Is that right? You don't need a variable for that. Just bring in "Request ID" (from Data Package dimension) into Filter area and use "Last Request Loaded" variable delivered by SAP.

The home button has by default moved to the right hand edge of the navigation toolbar. You can move it back by right-clicking on a toolbar, choose customize to open the customize toolbar window, then with that window on display you can drag and drop icons to move them.
If the home icon is not at the right end of the navigation toolbar, use the procedures in the following link to restore it - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Back+and+forward+or+other+toolbar+items+are+missing

when I click "bookmarks toolbar" I see my list when I go to Internet Explorer, but there's a wide blank on the left of my home page I want the list to appear on when I open the home page.

Did you purchase any music from the iTunes Music Store? Does that go onto your iPod?
Also, try playing the episode in iTunes for a few seconds first, to authorize it.
Finally, Connect the iPod and go to edit-->preferenes. Click the iPod tab. Click the videos tab under that. Make sure automatically update all videos is selected.
Note: Your preferences may look slightly different.
If that doesn't work, please post back for more suggestions. Also, be sure to tell us if purchased music transfers (If the above doesn't correct the issue)
