I can watch every other episode apart from this one, I know some access rights/permissions are set wrong atm for this episode because I get a different message on the right hand side of the screen it says "You will need to be a Sky TV customer with the relevant pack to watch this programme." Also something else is wrong with the title, the webpage shows it as "The Last Ship The Last Ship Series 2 Ep 5 Last Ship, The 5" . Sky1 - 1st Broadcast = Aug 2nd 2015 - Available for 29 days - Availability = Free

You may need to try this More than Once... Be sure to Follow ALL the Steps...

After you have Recovered your Device...Re-Sync your Content
Note:
To remove a forgotten Restrictions passcode you will need to Restore the Device as New...

If I set the default program for viewing PDF as Acrobat XI Pro the a PDF file will open with Acrobat XI Pro, but in Outlook I will get a white screen and the information bubble "This file cannot be previewed because there is no previewer installed for it" and in Windows Explorer I get a white screen in the preview pane.

Macbook, Snow Leopard 10.6.8 Since the last software update Safari 5.1 will not save history. Prefs. are set correctly, reset has been done, appropriage plist has been trashed, now Saf. 5.1 has been re-installed. Still dumps history every time

Since the last software update, Safari will not save bookmarks history.
Prefs. are set correctly, Cache has been dumped, reset done, appropriate .plist trashed, and finally an uninstall and clean install done
with 5.1.1 download from the Apple support site.
The problem still exists, making me very suspicious that this is a bug.
Any solutions? Let's hear 'em.

Never had a firefox issue since i built my PC a year ago. for the last while as i can tell from my "about:crashes" i have been gettings tons of crashes

not much details to add. there seems to be no consistency to my crashing. seemingly random. the only consistent part is that when i crash once i have a good chance of crashing again soon. looking at my about:crashes, i see that i crashed a lot in november, and december.. but in may the number is really high. here's the full list - sorry the formatting sucks but i can't seem to format it well in your little text box thing here.

I'm not sure what you mean. I included the full list of crash IDs in my about:crashes page. The top ones are all recent, there are 14 crashes in May (this month) total, and just today there are 4 (which prompted me to make this post).
As for new profile do you mean a different Windows account? I only use one. Also, I use Google Chrome as well as Firefox often, and only Firefox seems to be having this issue. Sometimes when I am just reading a plain text page, with my hands not even on the keyboard or mouse. It's very strange and starting to get annoying.

As you don't say what suggestion it is that you've tried, I don't know whether you mean for having notifications muted, so you may already have tried the following.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. I am the administrator of this machine with complete and full access.
Situation:
I tried to open After Effects and received this notification:
I then proceeded to uninstall AE CC and reinstall using the Adobe CC Desktop App.
Upon trying to reopen AE, I received the same message.
I then started googling to troubleshoot and came upon this update:

Downloaded and proceeded to install which then brought up this issue:
Which then lead me to doing more troubleshooting via google. I found this solution:

which suggests that I:
Delete or rename the <Startup Disk>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdaterInventory/1.0/AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat
NOTE: The file path works up until you get to the folder AAMUpdaterInventory. The folder is wrong. It is AAMUpdater (at least on my mac).
None the less, I proceed and delete the file.
I try reinstalling:
Adobe After Effects CC (12.2.1) update
And get the same message as before (shown above)
I RETRY the same solution but this time rename it. Same resulting error.

Terminal can't find the files (for either spellings of AAMUpdaterInventory / AAMUpdater).

I uninstall and reinstall the Adobe CC desktop app.
Run the program. Doesn't work.
Run the update. Same Error.
I contact Adobe Customer Support. I end up in a screen share with some Adobe representative with his previous customers computer screen still open in the screen share program, basically showing me everything on her computer... and the agent sits there pretty much helpless blaming her for 15 minutes. Clearly helpful. (breach of security?)
I have literally tried every avenue of troubleshooting to resolve this and it's beginning to seem hopeless.

Trying to turn off "find my ipad" but the icloud password. is not working although it has been reset and the reset password works ok on my laptop. Any ideas.

On the Apple website the account details show that the account is verified but on the ipad it continually says "verified" and underneath "Account not verified" Have checked the rescue email address but this says account is verified. Deauthorizing all is definitely the way to go. You will just need to authorize your computer again after, as well as your husband's.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

There is no anti-malware for iOS, at least none that actually does anything useful. The odds of getting any malware infection via an email attachment on an iOS device is quite low - practically non-existent. Unless you are seeing any issues, there isn't much to do, other than deleting the email and being more cautious in the future.
