The latest core patch SAP ME 5.2 SP05 Patch 17

Hello,
I noticed in sap note 1615904, there are a new core patch delivered. As of now, we just upgraded the patch SAP ME 5.2 SP05 Patch 16 into our test system.
I have a question, can I download this latest core patch directly from the SAP website and implement it into our current system? is there any incompatible issues coming out?
I am a new on the SAP ME 5.2, your answer would be appreciated.
Thanks a lot and best regards,
Leon Lu

Hi Alex,
Thanks for your feedback, actually we are on the phase of testing the SAP ME5.2, before we decide to go forward of this version. From my opinion, we should keep the core patch up-to-date, but as you said, this would be best recommended by SAP. I will try to contact them.

Leon Lu

  • Since the latest security patch (ML), I'm getting choppy video across my entire MacBook

    MacBook Pro (2012)
    2.9 GHz Intel Core i7
    8GB Ram
Everything was fine until a few weeks ago... after installing the latest security patch for ML, video playback - downloaded and streamed - will briefly pause and/or choppy. I thought the problem was resolved w/ Yosemite, but no such luck. I'm assuming it's a systemic issue... though where to begin?
I'm not that tech savy, and may need to bring this in for a look-see. Any tips on where to go from here?
    Thanks

Put me on the list as a supportor of the action. I imagine there are going to be many others with the similar complaint, this Co. has been cacheing my old accounts & poping them up every now & then, just to try & use up or do away with my credits.

  • How can install the latest SUN patch cluster on individual zones?

I have a global zone running Solaris 10 (11/06). I have a number of whole root zones running. I only want to apply the latest Sun Recommended patch cluster to a few of the individual local zones. Can this be done? How do I run install_cluster at the global and have it apply to only some of the local zones?
    thanks in advance,
    Brock

For some individual patches in the cluster, it may be possible for others not.
If a patch applies to the kernel, it makes no sense to apply to some zones and not others (or not the global zone). Otherwise you'd have files out of sync with the running kernel.
For other patches that are purely application-specific, it could be just fine. Something that patches 'sed' for instance should apply cleanly to a whole-root zone.
You'll need to read the notes for the individual patches.

  • Where does one get the latest CS4 Patch?

I installed CS4 but don't know where the latest patches are? Where can one go to find out about those and download them?

    Thank you.
I have the EX1. I just found out CS3 has a patch which makes it X.D CAM EX compatible. Given the fact Cineform will not yet work with CS4, I still wonder whether it isn't too soon to jump into CS4. CS3 has the advantage of being tested, it was designed for XP (which is what I'm using) and it is compatible with Cineform right now. On the other hand CS4 is the future. Which way would you go?

  • Where do I get the latest version & patches for BI Publisher?

    ..we're currently on 5.6.3.

    Steven

5.6.3 is the major version, but you can patch up to get the latest functionality, e.g. 7352374 for bursting.
Search on BI Publisher in Patches on MOS.

  • What is the latest HTMLDB patch

What HTMLDB patch should I apply to a 10.1.0.4 RDBMS to bring HTMLDB up to the latest patched level?
    Thanks,
    Ralph.

    Ralph,
The version of HTML DB is independent of the specific database release. HTML DB is supported in 9.2.0.3 and higher.
The latest patch set is HTML DB 1.6.1.00.02. This can only be applied to a HTML DB 1.6 instance.

  • Where to find the XSLT used for the standard interface in SAP ME 5.2 SP05?

    Hallo!
Starting with SAP ME 5.2 SP05 there is a new logic for the standard interface used in SAPMEINT.
I wonder where to find the XSLT's that are used for transforming the XML messages?
I can see from the SAP NW log:
[Transaction: -1] starting execution of Visiprise/ERPShopFloorIntegration/frame/workflow/XSLTDelegate.trx
    Loading file Visiprise/WEB/XSLT/Outbound/EquipmentStatusChangeUnSchDown/EquipmentStatusChangeUnSchDownRequest.xslt
    select: path Visiprise/WEB/XSLT/Outbound/EquipmentStatusChangeUnSchDown
    select: name EquipmentStatusChangeUnSchDownRequest.xslt
The definition for this XSLT is as follows:
    WEB://Visiprise/XSLT/Outbound/EquipmentStatusChangeUnSchDown/EquipmentStatusChangeUnSchDownRequest.xslt
    How is this resolved???
From the (pre SP05) SAPMEINT I know two variants:
    1. High performance interface
The XSLT files come from the MII shared memory entries for project SAPMEINT
    2. Standard interface
The XSLT files come from SAP ME (table XSLT and XLST_ASSIGBNMENT) via calling a HTTP URL like
    http://<hostname>:<port>/manufacturing/vm/xslt?id=RouterFeed
    Kr,
           Erich Lind

    Hello!
I found the answer myself now.
The XLST files are part of the static web content of the MI project Visiprise.
In the SAP MII workbench go to the project Visiprise
Then under the tab Web the static contecnt can be found under the folder WEB/XSLT/..

  • Using the latest version of SAP standard reports

After trouble shooting several problems in Report Painter reports, I noticed we are not using the most updated version of SAP delivered reports.  We upgraded from 46c to ECC6 last year.  Is there some regeneration (of report groups) procedures we were supposed to do to bring standard reports in line during upgrade?
What is the best way to review thel version of all reports currently used?
What about those reports created from coping SAP standard reports, if standard reports get updated, how can the copied report be updated as well?
Thanks in advance for any feedback.

No answer, not yet resolved but I close this message for now.

  • Latest PeopleTools patch for the next PeopleTools only upgrade

    Hi All,
Is it mandatory to be in the latest PeopleTools patch for the next PeopleTools only upgrade?
For eaxmple, I am in PT8.50 and I plan to upgarde to PT8.51. Is it mandatory to apply the latest patch(PT 8.50.14 Product Patch) before the PeopleTool upgrade?
    Thanks
    Soundappan

Whether it is not mandatory to be on the latest Peopletools patch for a Peopletools version upgrade, you should be on the least recommanded one if any. It is maybe playing on words, but hope you see the difference.
It is well explained in the following pdf, page 16 :

  • The latest Lookout fix patch causes an error.

I applied the latest fix patch for Lookout 4.5.1 dated 3/8/2002. It now causes this error when I attempt to open my program: "Cbl has caused an error in ALLBRAD.CBX. Cbl will now close." If I restore the original ALLBRAB.CBX the problem does not occur. Any ideas?

We just currently put up the fixed ALLBRAD.CBX - check it out!
www.ni.com/support > Drivers and Updates > Search Drivers and Updates > type 'Lookout 5' and you should get the link for 'Lookout 5.0 for Windows -- Fixes'
    Hope this helps
    Roland
PS: You should be able to use the driver CBX version 5.0 in Lookout 4.5.1. Or you might consider to upgrade to Lookout 5.0. www.ni.com/lookout.
