The latest safari will not work with yahoo games
I just followed the latest updates from Apple to Safari and now I can't play any Yahoo games. The first notice said to reload Java which I did and it still will not work. I am very dissapointed in Apple for this, being a 20 plus year customer. And there does not seem to be an easy way to figure this out.
Installing the OS X Lion Update 10.7.5 (Client Combo) will reinstall any missing system files.
Then restart your Mac and launch Safari.
Then go to Safari > Preferences > Security
Make sure Java is selected.
It's ok to do this even though v10.7.5 is already installed.

I purchased Photoshop CS5 for my windows vista operating system. I purchased a canon 7 D some yrs ago no problem. I purchased canon 7D mk 11 in December 2014. The supplied software will not work with vista. Photoshop CS5 will not accept canon7D mk11. Can someone please tell me how i process canon 7D mk11 photos ?????. Brian in the UK.Photoshop by itself cannot process raw image data. That is why the Camera Raw plug-in was developed. You could try the DNG converter and convert your images to the DNG format and then the Camera Raw that you have would be able to open them. I can't recommend Lightroom because you are using Vista, and Lightroom 5 cannot be used with that operating system. It may be time for you to get a new computer and upgrade your software.

New version will not work with yahoo tool bar. How can I fix this problem ?
I downloaded the new version of Firefox and it will not work with my yahoo toolbar anymore.It worked fine until I updated to the new version. I have went back to the old version 16.0 and now it keeps saying my version is out of date. How can I fix this problem and get the new version to work with my yahoo tool bar?
For starters make sure you have the latest Yahoo toolbar.

The Angel management system used for classes does not support version 7. That's huge.
Old versions of firefox 4,5 & 6 are no longer supported or considered secure. You put your system and your personal data at risk if you use them. Further more if you download from third party sites you face other potential risks or inconveniences.
The recommended official solution is to use Firefox 3.6 which is still supported, and will be 3.6.23, which will upgrade soon to 3.6.24
Another alternative is to use the current secure firefox for all day to day work, and use a separate firefox portable for the problem school site. HELP! Safari will not work with "standard user" via airport card in my mini
Hello, I am successfully connecting with safari via an airport card in my mini mac. I am the administrator of the osX. However no other "user" can connect to the internet via safari. What am I doing wrong? When a standard user clicks on the "internet connect icon" the 2wire224 is an aption but no internet page will connect. Help!!!!!!! ISP has gone as far as they can in helping me.
Hello, I have tried to solve via internet connect - no help. All of a sudden, since I made the post, the 2wire24 selection is now requiring a keychain password to get on. And sometimes my wep password. I know all these but don't want to have to use them and or give them out to my standard users. Any other suggestions or help?

The CDX-GT710HD will not work with my Galaxy s4 phone and tech support seems to not be able to help.
I can not get my Galaxy s4 to be recognized by the brand new Sony CDX-GT710HD car stereo I had installed in my truck. Does anyone have any useful suggestions besides the oh well answer that tech support has to hand out? And please, no one tell me USB is not reliable. It is on most other devices so this is a limitation of the radio when using Android. There are entire sections of the manual that talk about using the iPhones when connected to the USB. Right now I am thinking I got ripped off and that is stopping me from buying other items like the PS4 and a new TV.
For music playback via USB, the CDX-GT710HD Car Stereo requires MSC (Mass Storage Class)-type USB devices (such as a USB flash drive, digital media player, Android™ phone) compliant with the USB standard can be used. Depending on the digital media player or Android phone, setting the USB connection mode to MSC is required. However, Samsung phones don't have MSC function. They're using MTP mode, if MTP doesn't work then it may not be compatible with this unit.

All of a sudden apple mail 10.6 will not work with yahoo
All of a sudden, I do not receive my emails from my YAHOO account in my Apple Mail.
Have you updated your security settings for Yahoo.

Iset up an icloud email account but the instructions say that It needs to be 10.75 or higher. does that mean I cannot have an Icloud Email account?

I have upgraded Safari in my Mac, but the new Safari does not work with my system. So I find myself without any working browser. How can I solve this problem and/or install my previous Safari version?
Reinstall Safari 5.1.10 for OS X 10.6.8: http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1569. Might do the trick.
But, frankly, I don't think that simply reinstalling the old Safari will work because of all the peripheral, under the hood changes that happen when you upgrade from one version of Safari to another. Reinstalling 5.1.10 may be insufficient to turn back the clock. (This is the moment where a Time Machine or another form of full backup would save your bacon.)
While you're getting a copy of Safari 5.1.10, get a copy of Firefox (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/desktop/), too, so that you have an alternate browser to use as you're sorting matters. -
I was logged in to reply in the thread "Firefox will not work with paypal". I spent the better part of an hour carefully composing that reply, testing cases, providing links, etc... [Hint: Firefox, unlike other browsers, has a problem with scripts from server paypalobjects.com.] Because I had taken so long to compose the reply, it seemed like a good idea to check it via the Preview button, but I got a message that that function was not available. Of course I decided to submit it anyway, but when I hit "Submit" I got a message "You don't have permission ..." - at which point I was (stupidly) on a different page with that message, and everything I had composed was gone!
It might be too late for this, but it's what I use when this happens. Prepare for deep nerdom:
* Open the web console below the error page by pressing Ctrl+Shift+k
* Right-click the blank area and turn on logging of the request and response bodies
* Resubmit the request by clicking the reload button
* Click the new URL that appears to open the viewer showing the headers and bodies
There you may be able to copy out the content of your post from the Request Body. You can use a word processor or text editor to find/replace the + characters back to spaces. -
I just downloaded Firefox 5 and it said that my Yahoo toolbar will not work with it. Is this true? If so I will not use this new version and will switch to another browser if Firefox stops supporting the Yahoo toolbar. Thank you.
Add-ons contain a range of compatible Firefox versions, and Firefox honors the listed range by disabling the add-on if you are trying to run it on an unlisted version.
I'm sure Yahoo! will update its toolbar eventually, but not every add-on maker supports beta versions of software. -

every time I go to a new site a bar is lowered and ask to update my plugin. I am using mac 10.4.11 G4 The new plugin will not work. How do I shut off the plugin update so I don't get this anoying bar ever time I go to a new web page. If there is no way to shut it off, I'll trash Firefox and go back to Safari. This just started and I'm tired of it.
to turn off the messages about outdated plugins, enter "about:config" into the address bar of the browser, confirm the info dialog, then search for the preference named "plugins.hide_infobar_for_outdated_plugin" & double-click it in order to toggle it to "true".
please also note that firefox 3.6.28 was the last build that ran on a powerpc, however if you want to use an up-to-date browser based on firefox you can switch to "tenfourfox" - the downside is it doesn't support plugins at all

I have a Macbook and iPhone and like to back up to iCloud. However, my work computer runs Outlook 2003, which I know will not work with the iCloud. The company has no plans to update anytime soon. Since the calendar and contact list on my office computer are my primay ones, I hard sync through iTunes. The problem is that any data synced from Outlook 2003 to the iPhone from iTunes does NOT later backup to iCloud. Is there a solution?
I have the same problem with Outlook 2003 and Win XP which the multinational organisation I work for standardises on and will probably stay with forever!

My IPad cannot download live Tv from skygo. I have no problem with my lap top so I assume the broad band is okay. Can anybody suggest why the live streaming will not work on my iPad .
Are you using the Sky Go app to try and watch it ? If so are you logged in with your Sky account ?
If you are using the app then you could try closing the app completely and see if it works when you re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Sky Go 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Sky Go app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
