The LCD on my PowerShot SX10 has stopped working - is there a reset or some other way to fix it?
It won't display at all - any suggestions?
You said the display so I take it the camera works just fine otherwise, ie being able to downnload pictures etc.
I would imagine the ribbon cable, the back light or the display itself is at fault.
Since it has a 'twistable' display I would imagine the cable harness to the display has been damaged with all the movement and stresses the cable suffers. If you imagine a very thin wire and you keep waggling it about it will soon fracture and break.
This is what *may* have happened - it did happen to my A650. I managed to repair myself by getting a complete new cable assembley, it is no easy task since you have to strip the camera and handle very tiny screws afterall, I am an electronics engineer .... a job certainly not for a novice so to speak.
By all means try a full reset in the menu, but I doubt that will cure the problem for the reasons given.
Best advice would be to seek a Canon repair agent near your locality.

I am trying to move a pdf file onto my iPad2, and it says that the device is not connected or has stopped working. But Windows 7 recognizes the device and I can see my pictures. Same thing happens when I try to put music onto the iPad.
When in iTunes on the computer,my our ipadmshould show under devices.
Click on your ipadmunder devices then go to music at top center of the iTunes window, check what you want to sync for music. You need to set it to a folder if I remember which would have your music in it you want synced.
Same with PDF files.....there should be an option for data or even PDF files at the top center area of iTunes when the iPad is clicked under devices.
If your iPad does not show or you cannot click on it under devices which is in the leftane of iTunes, the iPad is not being seen by the computer.
Try unplugging the USB cord from the laptop then give it a few and see if the computer picks it up. -

I have changed my account to SIM only and when I put my new SIM Card into my iPhone 4 it just says 'no service' in the top left corner, also iMessage has stopped working too. I can only use my phone on my WiFi at the moment, does anyone have any idea?
I already have, I contacted Orange yesterday and they said I will receive a text to confirm the registrastion for my new SIM Card, they said the text would arrive between 2 and 24 hours and its been over 24 hours with no text recieved

The "+" sign which opens NEW TAB has stopped working suddenly. I have to open a new window each time. I tried uninstalling firefox and installing again but the problem still persists. Somebody guide me on this.
Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.

TS4062 I keep getting the error message "apple outlook DAV has stopped working"
My phone and I pad all of the sudden just stopped syncing with my desktop. I have had my phone for over a year when 4s first came out and everything was syncing fine. Then all the sudden it stopped. I keep getting the error message "apple outlook DAV has stopped working". I have rebooted, checked for duplicates, signed in and out of the cloud and still nothing. Has anyone had this problem and know of a good way to handle it. Also, now my phone and Ipad don't sync with the cloud either. Please help.
Windows 7 Professional. I meant that when I open a word doc and want to turn it into a PDF, i get the same error message. In the mean time I paid the $40.00 and spoke to Adobe and after 40 minutes, they re-installed Reader X instead of XI so now it works but I am not overly thrilled that I had to pay for it.

I have Photoshop Elements 7.0 and when I go to sort the photos in order (from oldest date) I keep getting the message "Photoshop Elements 7.0 has stopped working" and then the program closes. Sometimes, eventually it has sorted as I request but today this has been rejected over 15 times. What is wrong?

I had the same problem. The fix I found was to open itunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT), click Edit, Preferences, and then the "Store" tab. Uncheck the box that says "Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases". This got me running, but unfortunately I have a movie on the cloud that I now can't see.

The sound on my iPad 2 has stop working.....no sound in app, home screen, no locking sounds, keyboard clicks, no music, no movies.....no nothing! I have reset settings, I have tried to reboot the iPad numerous of times, I have played with the slide rocker, switched settings back and forth and yet nothing. I Assume that you are talking about the "All Inboxes" mailbox where you can tap to see every email in all of your email accounts. If it disappeared, tap the Edit button at the top of the window, then look for it in the next window. Select it by putting a check mark next to it, then tap Done.

Every 5 minutes or so Firefox will freeze and if I'm on a website that uses the flash player the ads and what not will stop and an error thing replaces them and says Adobe Flash Player has crashed. Then a window pops up and says "The Plug-In container for Firefox has stopped working..." or something like that. Then my laptop will work slower until Firefox crashes. Any solutions ?
