The left side of my screen keeps freezing

Recently the left side of my screen has been freezing. How can I fix it?

Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- A reset. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod.
If you stil lhave the problem then it is likely a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Make an appointment at the genius bar and get the phone replaced.

There's a black and white striped glitch on the left side of my screen on my Macbook Air! Its happened before and has been an easy fix, usually just restart or turn off my computer but don't know what else to do. Is there anything I can try now?

How do I pin the bookmark sidebar to the left side of my screen?

How do I pin the bookmark sidebar to the left side of my screen? My bookmark sidebar (vertical on the left side of the screen) is gone. When this would happen in the past I wold F10 and then select to view (or pin...can't remember the wording of the command) the sidebar. It was always visible with my bookmarks sorted. Now that sidebar is gone and I can't figure out how to add it back. HELP!

I used Software Update and after installing the items and restarting my computer, I now have a white margin about 1" wide on the left side of my screen and can't get rid of it.

I updated by software by using Software Update. iWork, Java, Remote Desktop, iDVD, iWeb, Mac OSX and iTunes were updated. After restarting my computer I now have a white, 1" margin on the left side of my screen and a 1" black margin on the right side of my screen. I tried changing the Display and it didn't work.

I was just going throw my bookmarks, when all of a sudden they came up on the left side of my screen. How do I get them out of the way?

Hi, i have a 2.4ghz macbook white, it fell from me recently but before that i noticed an almost invisible line on the left side of my screen, it wasnt broken or anything, after it fell the line became more visible, it turned into green and sometimes two lines, but now it is a thick white line that can cover 1 letter...
i ran the hardware test and an error occurred 4SNS/1/40000000 TCOD-100.125

I had line(s) on my screen that would not go away and I only found one solution. Well, they would go away when I tried the Genius Bar (the only bar I hang out in these days). Anyhow, the lines were vertical 80%-90% of the time no matter what I was doing. Mostly one, sometimes 2, rarely 3. They even faded in and out when I was just sitting there! I took it to the apple store once and I couldn't show it to them. I took it home to see if it could get worse. Fearing it will eventually just fail as soona s my wrranty expires in teh end fo Feb, I took it in again. They are going to replace the logic board, but they have to order it then replace it; which takes a couple of weeks at least.
So, the only solution was to replace the board. Oh, and if you can't prove it to them because the iMac seems to know the "doctor's office", just take a photo of the screen problem and take it in. That will be evidence enough.

so i bought a iphone 3g from craigslist, i was told there was an issue with screen. the left of the screen is blurred, looks like a bunch of lines. when i hit bottons on the left side they work fine, so im not sure whats wrong, is there anyway to fix it myself? or do i need to take it to apple store. also i do not have warranty on it. since i bought it from someone.

You will have to restore the phone. Plug you're USB cable into the computer, but do not plug it in to your phone. Turn your phone off, while phone is off, hold down the home button. While holding down the home button, connect the other end of the cable into the phone. keep the home button held down. iTunes will then pop up and say it has detected an iphone in recovery mode, and needs to be restored. You can now restore it from iTunes.
FYI, you will lose all of your data.

My vertical column of bookmarks down the left side of my screen has disappeared and I need to find a way to get it back in the same place.

This is purely a lay-out issue. We used to be able to choose to permanently display our bookmarks vertically down the left side of the screen, and I want to continue to be able to do so. Where is the photo tab on itunes? My device is not listed on the left side of my screen and there is no photos tab on the right of my screen. I want to delete photo albums that were synced through itunes to my ipad 3.

I synced several photo albums to my iPad 3 from my computer through iTunes. Now, I would like to remove them and have discovered that they cannot be removed except through using iTunes. Instructions that I've read say that once the device is connected to and selected from the list in iTunes, select the Photo Tab and then the folder that contains the photos etc. I never get that far because I do not have a Photo Tab to select in iTunes. How do I find this illusive tab so that I can delete these albums that are merely duplications of other pictures and are just occupying space. I need to get rid of them. Can anyone help me find the photo tab. I cannot move past that step until I do. Also, my device is not listed on the left side as stated in the instructions. It's in the bar on the upper right area of my screen and is automatically selected when connected. I am using the current version 11.1 for iTunes and IOS 7 on my iPad 3, if that helps.

I have the same problem on the latest iTunes software and Windows 7. My window is maximzed and I do not see any tab for photos. Seems related to a recent update (IOS7?) as this was there - at least before the very big change to the interface.

How do I stop the side bar from popping up in the left side of my screen when I click on a bookmark on my tool bar?

I just got a new laptop, and redownloaded mozilla as my browser. I've set up my tool bar tabs but when I click them they only appear on the left side bar when I click them. This didn't happen before on my previous laptop, so I'm confused on how to get it to stop opening the sidebar when I click them, and have them instead appear in my main window.

Opening in the sidebar is the default for bookmarks that are created via a link or button on a website.
You can check the properties of a bookmark via the right-click context menu in the sidebar (Ctrl+B; Command+B on Mac).
In the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) you can click the More button in the Details pane at the bottom right.
Make sure that "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" is not selected.
