Long time since I made a post, being more than a year.
Anyways.
As you can tell from the title and summary, if you are not
interested, don't want to help or hate sprite flash animations,
please don't bother to reply to this topic and let it die down to
page 2.
Anyway, to the Samaritans out there, I really need your help
into making this.
I have seen so much awesome sprites over the years, and
decided I wanted to make mine. Because I have this crazy idea
storyline I just needed to produce.
I am really serious about this, I'd finished the script and
planning already over. It's 23 pages LONG! (Merging the script and
planning).
I have gathered enough sprite sheets, stages/backgrounds,
sound effects, voices and portraits. It's the largest ever data to
make a flash, larger than other sprite movies you have watched:
even Proxicide's animation!
I had used Flash before, tried it about 3 times, trying to
learn how it works. It was too complicated and time consuming so I
never touched the program again. Now I'm back, and I'm a learner
beginner and I need help.
Please help me, if you managed to help, of course your name
will be in the credit.

How do I change the aspect ratio of a blank Action Script 3
page? I want it to be Letterbox (The 2 black borders on screen).
Second what way is faster? Making the menu design at first
and then making your movie or making the movie first and then
making the menu design?

Create a property node for your graph. Use the property node "Active Plot" to define which plot (or line) you want to rename. Then write the new legend label to the property node "Plot.Name". See attached.

Flash Chart : Percentage values in the pie chart and values in the legend

Hi All,
Query is :
SELECT null link
,GN.region Region
,ROUND(100*ratio_to_report(COUNT(DISTINCT GN.submittedbyemail)) over (),2) value
FROM goodnews_stories GN
GROUP BY GN.region
I use the above query to display the flash pie chart percentage values.
The values are displayed in percentage in legend as well as on the chart.
I need to display the values in the legend and percentage values in the chart.
How this can be achieved ?

Use the SeriesCollection(1).Name function. In LV, wire up the following:
_Chart into Method SeriesCollection (index = 1 to 4)
Cascade into Variant to Data (wire type Excel.Series)
Wire Series into Property Name, Write the string

Is there a way to display the legend for a chart, but not the chart?

Hi,
I have a stacked column chart and a line chart on top of each other. I can't use the legend for the stacked column chart because the data will change from month to month, and the 2 charts will not be aligned. I copied the stacked column chart to another part of the canvas and want to display only the legend, but the chart is still displaying. Is there a way to prevent the chart from displaying? Thanks.

we can show only the legend in a pie chart by dragging the edges to closer.do the following,
select the pie chart,select the edge of the chart and make it small and u ll find the pie chart shrinking.make it lean such that the pie chart disappear.

How to display the color of time period and the legend in Calendar view?

Sorry to disturb you guys with a quite simple question.
I want to do a calendar view to display the period of absence for the portal user. I've setup the iView but it displays neither the color of time period nor the legend.
The problem is:
1) If I test with static legend (that is, I input the time period directly in the form instead of using data service),
 a) I could only define one time period, because it's impossible to map the out port of calendar to in port of form on defining the event as 'goto'.
 b) I can't see the color displayd while deploying although there is just one time period! Neither the legend. I' ve given the label and color of the legend and assigned the action as default in design board. Why it doesn't work?
2) If I test with dynamic legend following the chapter "Display Date on a Calendar" in the Modeler's Guide of VC;
 I assigned @RECORDNR to 'ID legend field', and used BAPI_ABSENCE_GETLIST as dynamic legend data service to edit the legend, and assigned the color for every ID. But neither color nor legend could kindly appear. What's the problem? Is there any error in the edit of entry list of the legend?

If your table has a Header and your Legend text is in the header, it will be picked up by the table.

I have 2 columns A and B are measure columns.
How can I change "A" and "B" in the legend of my vertical bar graph to "LIA" and "ASSET", without changing the A,B name in my subject area.

Hi,
You can set Axis titles (Vertical Axis & Horizontal Axis) from Graph Properties --> Titles and Labels --> Axis Titles. In case of multiple columns on the access you will be seeing Vertical Axis 1 and Vertical Axis 2.

Is there a way to change the line spacing in the legend? I have a pie chart with text and I can't change the line spacing for its legend like you would in a regular text. Is there a way to change it?

For space between each line, use the leading value in the Character pallet. For space between paragraphs, use the Space Before or Space After values in the Paragraph pallet.

Accordion or Tabbed panel should to it, with click and open container.

Customising the Legend (Legend Box) - SQL DEVELOPER DATA MODELER

Is there a way to customize the legend Box (obtained when you right click Show->Legend in the Relational or Logical model window) in the latest latest version of SQL Developer Data Modeler.

How to make use of the Legend from XY graph?

The hardware i am using will create a plot everytime i do a scan. I will upload the it result(plot) to another XY graph. I try to create a multi plot on the XY graph but it seems not working. I am wondering how can i make use of the legend that come with the XY graph to solve my problem.

Hi,
You should be able to plot as many XY arrays to the graph as you need. As long as you don't delete the previous plots they should remain there. This will make things much easier than dealing with 2 graphs.
There is an example at "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\CVI70\samples\userint\graphlegend.cws" that you can look at for an application with multiple plots.

How can I reduce the hight of the Legend in the SVG graph

The code all goes into the chart attributes area in the onload and the header section.
Make sure to pay close attention to the onload

I was a little overzealous in catching javascript errors in the built in SVG so it doesn't work in Firefox unless you split the try and catch statements. This will get fixed in next version.
Also this statement
if(document){svgDoc = document;} // this fixes Adobe Vs FF difference
should go into the first line of any custom javascript that you use in the SVG as it fixes a difference in the FF 1.5 implementation and Adobe Plugin again it will be fixed in next version.
Making these changes should allow you to run almost any javascript in the Builtin SVG charts so it opens up a lot of possibilities for customization and adding interaction.

News "FLASH"... Nancy O (the legend) ... i need help again

I am trying to put a banner on my website for my exam.... It will have to have an image with logos flashing across and stopping for a few seconds before carrying on.and out the other side. I have looked up everywhere to see how this is done but with no joy. There is lots of info out there but it is not working for me. In Flash i have no problem creating a banner image with various logos moving from one side to the other or even changing the image from one shape to another or bouncing it up and down the stage from one side to the other. I can even stagger the timelines for the logos to make them enter one after the other. The one thing i can not get to grips with is making the images stop or pause after they have entered from one side before exiting the other side. I have followed step by step many youtube tutorials but the authors are wizzing through them too fast and despite folling every step second by second, i am missing a vital step somewhere. Would someone please let me know step by step (and please assume i am an idiot when doing this) the sequence i must follow from the very begining to the last step when i publish.
