"The license agreement was not accepted"

We just bought Autocad 2007 LT and I suspect the ALM in 8.1 standard is conflicting with Autodesk's. The error message comes up every time and then the application quits. I'm a complete novice at this and don't have time to search every forum question for clues. Any suggestions?

Update on my post:
I did a maintenance check for errors on the main drive and lo and behold, I can now open pdfs. Perhaps you can try doing that and see what happens.
You can check for errors on your drive by opening "My Computer", and then right click on the main drive (usually "C"). Then, click on "Properties" and choose the "Tools" tab. The first option on that page will be "Error Checking". When you click on that, it will tell you that it will check for errors on the drive the next time you reboot or start the computer again. On my computer, it takes about 20 minutes to go through my whole drive, check for errors and repair them. Yours may take a lot less time if you have little in the computer.

I believe part of the recovery process is you get an e-mail allowing you to reset questions. If that e-mail isn't correct either because your son set it up then you really have no option but to ask Apple again. They are getting strict abotu security and given the number of "My iTunes account got hacked" posts here I can guess why. They have no way of knowing you really are the owner of the account. It's like me going to a policeman and saying, "See that car over there? That is mine, can you open the door for me?" and the police opening it on that basis alone.

Able to connect to the mypassport web site, but the screen with the License Agreement does not come

My PC runs under Windows 8.1Under the WiFi mode, the Mypassport wireless disk is identified and is connected, with no limitation. As expected.When I follow the procedure as mentionned in the User Manual, I have to use my browser (firefox in this case) and I type the adress : http://my passport.I enter the WD website, but instead having a window with the License Agreement to accept, I find a regular web page with the various WD external disks: http://support.wdc.com/product/download.asp?level1=2&lang=fr.I tried the other option suggested in the manual with the proposed IP adress, and I find a WD page with a user manual.Conclusion : I can use the disk using the USB cable, but the disk does not work under the WIFI mode.What should I do to connect to the right page?Thanks for the answer.

Good information. I don't believe that an internet connection is required when you first set up the MPW, so let's get that done. An internet connection is only required to do firmware updates and connect to Cloud services. You should update the firmware after you have the MPW connected properly and working. I don't think there is a Windows Phone version of the WD My Cloud App. You could use the browser on the phone to access the MPW Dashboard. But there may be issues with that so let's keep it simple. Follow these instructions like a recipe, but keep in mind what it says in the manual. You will need both these instructions and those in the manual. 1. Disconnect the USB cable from the 4G hotspot.2. Turn off the 4G hotspot. Power it down to make sure its network isn't available.3. Make sure your PC is turned on, and the Wi-Fi is on, looking for a network.4. Turn on the MPW and make sure the Wi-Fi LED lights up.5. Press the WPS (Wi-Fi) button on the MPW until the Wi-Fi LED flashes.6. Your PC should see the MPW network. Connect to that network.7. Turn on the 4G hotspot. Wait for it to start up fully. Do not connect your PC to the 4G hotspot at this time. Wait until the instructions say to connect to the 4G hotspot.8. Use a browser to go to the address http://mypassport (unless you have already changed that name when you set the MPW wireless password. If so use that name, or the IP address; http://192.168.60.1 ) This should open the MPW Dashboard for you. Depending on how much of the setup has actually been completed, you may be asked to set up a wireless password at this stage. If so, the MPW will force your PC to disconnect, and you will need to connect again. If you have already set a wireless password, you should be ready to complete the setup and connect the MPW to the 4G hotspot. Do not use the USB connection at this time. Use the Wi-Fi connection from the PC to the 4G hotspot.13. Open a browser window again and connect to the MPW Dashboard using http://mypassport This may be a be a bit slow to respond, as it requires network discovery on your PC to do its thing. The IP address http://192.168.60.1 will not work now as it only works when you directly connect to the MPW, rather than via a router, or 4G hotspot in this case. If you know how to look up the IP address that the 4G hotspot gave the MPW on its network, you could use that address, which should connect faster. But http://mypassport, or http://<YourNameForTheMPW> if you changed the name should work.14. If the Dashboard worked in the above step, you can finish any setup changes you may want to do, but you are all good to go. The MPW should appear in the "Network" section of Windows Explorer, and you should be able to copy files on and off the MPW, play music, videos, etc. that you have on the MPW. 15. Once you are happy that the MPW is working properly, change to using the USB connection from your PC to the 4G hotspot, if you want to, and check that everything still works properly. It should, as long as your 4G hotspot puts the USB and Wi-Fi connections on the same network, and acts as a router between all connections. Easy really, wasn't it?

I contacted the itunes store support and asked for an explanation of a refund and then my first name (for the account data) was not accepted - though correct - only when cancelling the second name it went through. How can that be???

Hello - I wonder what can have happened. I got a mail from the itunes store with the info of a refund for an App that I cannot have purchased. Then I asked for help via the support and had to fill out a form with data. My account name (first name and last name) was already there and when I finally wanted to submit my request for support it said that my first name ( there are 2 for that) was not correct. I had the idea of cancelling the 2nd 'first name = only M. and then the request was accepted.
What might be the reason for all that turmoil? I mean the refund for s.th. that I did not buy and then the non acceptance of my first name's data?

My new payment method was not accepted

I was warned that my payment method was due to expire so prompted to enter new details. I tried submitting details for business credit card and debit card but neither were accepted.
Additional I moved from New Zealand to the UK but have recored this change in my profile.
Any ideas why the payment method was not accepted?

New Epson WF 7620 will not print with Macbook Air, receive "Print File Was Not Accepted" message.

Hello! To anyone who tries to help me, thank you in advance!
I brought home a new Epson WF 7620 yesterday and did all the necessary stuff, installing it with my Macbook Air (Mac OS X ; 10.7.4.). I installed the software from the site, added the printer to my printer list, enabled "print sharing" and connected it to my wifi network. I am trying to use it wirelessly.
I tried to print a test page of a regular PNG image, but I am receiving the "Print File Was Not Accepted" message in my printer queue. I have changed the file type a couple times to JPG and PDF but more of the same. I have also reset the printer, and have repaired the disk permissions in the Disk Utility to try and get it to work.
None of this seems to be working, suggestions very appreciated!

Why will reader XI not let me accept the license agreement upon startup? Only Decline is available.

I have had to restore my Win 7 64-bit system due to Reader XI crashing on start-up due to internal error and it took Acrobat XI Pro with it. Now I cannot accept the license agreement. Tried Tab-Enter and that did not work. Any ideas? I need this for college classes immediately.

I don't know why this is happening; I have never seen this before. Try the following
using Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader
double-click on Eula.exe and accept the License Agreement
If that still gives you the same problem, set the registry entry that you have accepted the License Agreement:
download, unzip, then run the registry script from https://files.acrobat.com/a/preview/33ef697f-e339-49ab-bb3e-afc9057ece66

I had previously purchased a DVD disk from Amazon. I did get the program to install today. However it continues to loop back to the screen where you accept the licensing agreement. I had lost the previous serial number and was given a new one by Adobe.
After trying over and over again to install the version from their download, I purchased a new copy from Amazon. I am still getting the same loop on the software where it asks you to Accept the Licensing Agreement. Short of reformatting my hard drive and starting with a clean PC, I have no idea what to try. Is the previous software installed somewhere? I had uninstalled it prior to downloading and installing the new software. Any help is appreciated!

Can't open Photoshop CS5 I am required to accept the license agreement but still can't get in ...

I have had the Master Suite CS5 installed on my Macbook Pro for about 3 years now no problems , now it has started asking me to accept the Licence agreement when I try to open any of the applications (Photoshop / iD / Ai etc) .......
but when I click accept it just takes me back to the same window 'Accept / or not the License Agreement - basically going round in circles !! Meanwhile I ahve no access to the software !
I have tried re - installing to no avail ..... , LR 4 and Adobe Bridge still open fine no issues !!
I have carried out full updates of everything, done a system scan with MacKeeper, turned the computer fully off and back on ..... !
Any ideas/ suggestions would be welcome,

Hi Clare, I am having the same problems with my CS5 Design Premium! I got the graphics card replaced in my iMac and since then every time I try to open one of the programs, I get the licence agreement, click accept and it takes me back to the agreement again. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it which worked until I closed one of the programs, then the whole thing started again! If I leave the programs open after I use them it works which I am having to do until I get it sorted! I am just wondering if you managed to get yours working?

How do I accept the License Agreement

I am trying to install Adobe Reader X on my laptop.
As soon as I open it, a Distribution License Agreement pops up requesting me to press the "Accept" button in order to continue.
However no"Accept" button appears anywhere on the License Agreement and this is the sixth time I'm attempting to open this -all with the same result.
Not only does the "Accept" button not exist, the whole screen is locked with this agreement and cannot shut down.
The only way I can get out of this is to enter the Task Manager and shut down Adobe reader.
I would very much appreciate some solution, which I'm sure, is very simple but which I am not able to get on to.

I am unable to accept the license agreement

The license agreement appears when I first open acrobat. I click the agree button and the license box disappears. The very next time I enter acrobat I am prompted to accept the license agreement again. This is affecting my ability to open pdf files in my browser. I am using a mac with Safari.

You know, with Mac OS you don't really need Reader to view (non-fillable) PDFs. You have "Preview", part of your OS, that uses PDF as its native document format.
It's not good for "fillable" PDFs however, so we'll look at Reader and how to get it working. I'm going on the assumption (since you didn't actually say) that you're trying to open the PDFs online in Safari.
Download the offline installer: http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
Save it, but don't run it yet.
Go to: Mac HD/Applications
Trash the Reader 11 Application from there
Go to: MacHD/library/Internet Plugins
Trash the AdobePDFviewer.plugin from there
Trash the AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin also
Empty the trash
Mount the DMG and run the installer to reinstall Reader
When it finishes, reboot and open Reader from the Applications folder
Accept the License Agreement and then close Reader
Relaunch Safari
Go to: Safari>Preferences>Security and make sure that "Allow all other plugins" is checked
You should be able to open PDFs in Safari

Open Sourcing an iPhone Application acceptable under the License Agreement?

I've read through the licensing agreement, but I'm still not convinced either way. I want to make my iPhone application's source code available on the internet and set up a project page and SVN repository on a site such as Google Code. I wouldn't be distributing my signing keys and would be the single source for submitting the app to iTunes. Is this allowed under the License Agreement?

(Disclaimer: IANAL, I'm just a smart guy who's worked on GPL projects.)
That isn't the relevant part of the iPhone license agreement. The GPLv2 (which is probably the most important open source license for this question, as it's both very popular and has restrictions on mixing with proprietary code) does not encompass headers and libraries that are part of the operating system. That's how people can write open source Windows and Mac applications--believe me, Microsoft would not be pleased if someone contacted them and said that since Gaim was open source, they had to release the source code to the Win32 API. So the GPLv2 would not attempt to "annex" anything provided by Apple, and thus it wouldn't violate that section.
What may be relevant is the iPhone license section concerning confidentiality. If the class, method, function and constant names are considered "Apple Confidential Information", you would be in violation of the contract if you distributed code that revealed them. I rather suspect that nothing in the Foundation or Core Foundation frameworks could be considered confidential, as information about them is freely available to anyone who has the Mac OS X Core Library, which is distributed with every copy of Leopard. UIKit, Core Location, etc. are another story; I personally think that the fact that the APIs are included in the free SDK ought to preclude considering them confidential, but Apple might think differently.
In other words: you're definitely safe using LGPLv2 libraries. If the code would also compile with the Mac OS X SDK, you're almost certainly safe releasing it under the GPLv2*. If the code uses UIKit or other frameworks documented in the free SDK, you may be safe releasing it under the GPLv2. If you release any code that uses APIs that only licensed developers have access to under the GPLv2, you're probably totally screwed.
The GPLv3 is much stricter, and so the story there might be different; for example, I think it may have key-releasing requirements that would conflict with the contract. I don't really know much about it, though.
\* Remember, the original copyright holder can create alternate licensing arrangements for specific people. So he can say "anyone can use this code under the GPL, and as a special exception, it can be linked against FooCorp's non-GPL software". But to use anyone else's GPL code, you'd have to get all of the authors of that code to agree to the same exception. Alternately, you can just release your own code under the LGPL instead and then it's all good.
