The license configuration data for adobe no longer usable

What more can I do with: The license configuration data for adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator etc) is no longer usable. I have tried the License recovery download all 3 times...

Without system and version information nobody can help you. and instead of muddling around with teh license recovery tool simply reinstall.

    Hello,
See if any body may help here... I get this blue screen:

Your PC needs to be repaired:
The Boot Configuration Data for your PC is missing or contains errors.
    file:\\EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BCD
    Error code: 0xc000014c
You'll need to use the recovery tools on your installation media. If you don't have any installation media (like a a disc or USB device), contact your system administrator or PC manufacturer.
Press Esc for UEFI Firmware Settings
First I was able to get into the option 11 and run the whole factory reset, i was so happy because I tought it will be easy.. but then after I did the factory reset.. I keep getting this blue screen. if I press ESC I get into this next screen:
    F1 System Information
    F2 System Diagnostics
    F9 Boot Device Options
    F10 BIOS Setup
    F11 System Recovery
    ENTER - Continue Startup.
this is what happen when I click any of this options:
F1 I get into the System Information with no problems, then I click <ESC> to continue and get back to the last screen... then I press F2 and super, I am able to run Memory Test and Hard Drive Check 100% with no problems in any of those, after I am done with my teste I press exit and I am back to the F1,F2, ETC menu... now I want to try F9, F10 or F11. bummer.. in this 3 options I get back to the blue screen described at the beggining of this post. (I already connect a USB with an boot loader, which works perfectly)
so I can't do anything, nothing at all!! crazzines.
So what I did to check why I can't get into the BIOS or at least to boot from my USB... I removed the botton cover of my laptop and removed the hard drive and that's how then I was or I am able to Log into the BIOS, - I did the changes to boot first from the USB and then from the HD and this is how I was able to boot from the USB - BUT If I connect back the Hard drive, I am not able to get into the BIOS or boot from the USB - so basically I am stuck in this blue screen and I can't boot from a USB if I have the HD connected.. I can't use any option.. no BIOS, nothing.. only if again, i disconnect the HD.

What I did is, I removed the HD and then and boot from the USB and with a DOS command propmt I excecuted the Bios Update from F.21 to f.25... but again, when I installed the hard drive back, BUMMER, nothing I can't do nothing but this silly blue screen.
Any idea of what should I do?

If you can't access BIOS with the hard disk connected, you certainly won't be able to boot to the usb recovery flashdrive. That is indicative of a failed hard disk.
Install a new hard disk and then boot to the recovery flashdrive.

  • Photoshop CS, lost "license configuration data"

Photoshop CS question. Has anyone ever suddenly lost their "license configuration data"?
I get this error when I start up Photoshop: "The license configuration data for Adobe Photoshop is no longer usable".
I click "OK" and it takes me to the activation screen with the serial number already entered. Activate it on line and I get an error so I go to phone activate... the guy I talk to says the serial number (the one that is automatically entered by my copy of Photoshop) is not valid. I've had this copy of Photoshop on my PC for about 5 years and it has always worked fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is that photoshop cs (photoshop 8)?
If so, then your running into the fact that adobe took the activation servers offline.

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    (2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    (5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

  • Java 1.4.2_03 Windows: The configuration data for this product is corrupt.

Trying to install j2SE 1.4.2_03 JRE on a Windows system (exact version needed for a bussiness application) after all previous Java installations have been deleted and all Windows Registry Java related keys have been manually deleted with Regedit.exe.
The EXE installer works properly in other machines but in this one it stops after a few seconds with the following message:
"The configuration data for this product is corrupt. Contact your support personnel".
The problem is related to the Windows install mechanism rather than the Java installer itself and likely caused by the manual Registry deletion.
The error code is 1610: ERROR_BAD_CONFIGURATION.
Reinstalling Windows didn't fix the problem.
Unable to recover the system to a previous state with the System Recovery Tool (Accesories/System Tools).
Other versions of Java installers fail the same way and show the same message.
I don't know how to contact "my support personnel" nor who they are.
I'd appreciate any help about this problem or what Java installers need within the Registry to work or a clue of any kind.

Sorry for the duplicated message. It's my first post and I messed up a little with the right section.
A new downloaded copy of the file or other versions of Java failed to install with the same error message.
I've learned there is a product ID in the registry that must be present for the installer to run. I'm searching for this "mysterious" product ID and how to set the right Windows XP Registry entry for the JSE 1.4.2_03 version.
I'm still not sure this will fix the problem.
    Thanks for replying.

  • Reset  SMD-Configuration data for the solution

    Hello!
I would like to know how to reset the configuration data for the solution in SMD wizard.
The solution has already the status "green" --> "This solution is ready for Diagnostics".
The problem is that I cannot change the settings for the server ("Setup parameters").
The instance number there (98) cannot be changed.
    Further question:
how to install the introscope agent via SMD Wizard?
If I choose the solution and press "Setup Introscope Agent" I get the warning:
The landscape definition of the selected system is empty. Operation has been aborted
Furthermore I cannot see any parameters:
neigther for Server Node Details nor for Current VM Parameters. Here I get the warning:
There is no detail available for this server node. Check the Last Operation Result pane for more information.
Any helpful information wil be appreciated.
    Thank you very much!
    regards
    Thom

    Hi Thom,
To reset configuration there is possibility to remove Landscape Info using
Diagnostics Administration -> Diagnostics System -> Landscape management.
For your issue with Wily, you must have a solution correctly define. this setup will not work until you have it.

  • I tried to update itunes to the latest version yet it wont update. Im currently getting a error message, from  Window Installer, configuration dat for this product is corru

I'm trying to update itunes but not very successful and im not making much progress.  Im currently getting a message on the screen from Window Installer quoting configuration data for this product is corrupt while trying

The path 'C:\Documents and Settings\HP_Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Apple\Apple Software Update\iTunes.msi' cannot be found.  Verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package 'iTunes.msi' in a folder from which you can install the product iTunes.
Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try installing iTunes again. Does the install go through properly now?
(If you do find a clean download site for the correct version of CleanUp, please don't tell me where it is. Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.)
