How can i get my itunes library on my fiances' iphone 5? I have an iphone 4s, ipad and a Mac book pro. I thought I could have my music on up to ten different devises? I signed in on his phone and my music is in his itunes account but it is not in his music file.
I regret to say that you need a new computer. That G5, as good as it still is, simply cannot run the required software to be used with the latest iPhones and other software.

I bought a Mac Book Pro retina display, Serial Number C02J*****2, on 8/11/2012. Unfortunately, I am unable to download updates from the App store.Whenever I tried to download updates, it shows me an error message, "we could not complete your request. there is an error in the App Store. Try again later (100). Your Apple ID has been disabled, contact iTune support". However,the problem still persists even after my password has been successfully reset. What is is the error in the app store? I really need help to resolve this issue.
Moreover,I also need help how to update to the mountain lion free of charge as my Mac pro is four(4) days old.

iTunes in Mac OS X Tiger is outdated. Open > Software Update to install the latest iTunes version for Tiger.
If you need iTunes 10.7 or a newer version, you have to upgrade to Mac OS X Snow Leopard. First, check that your Mac is supported > http://support.apple.com/kb/sp575 If it is, buy Snow Leopard > http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
After buying Snow Leopard, make a backup of your data, insert the DVD and upgrade to Snow Leopard. After upgrading, open > Software Update, and install the latest Snow Leopard version. For a single use or how long will the battery last until it needs to be replaced? For single use, it depends on what you are doing when using you mac. I find that when using mine I get about 6-6 1/2 hours just using it to browse the internet before I need to recharge it. If it is one of the newer Macbook Pros that claim to have a 7 hour battery life, It can last up to 5 years. My 3G unlocked iPhone is not syncing mail or contacts from my mac book pro, using Lion. I am able to get a calendars and music, only. I get the message that I need to reset the password which I have done 3x's on the phone and on the Apple server.
Good to know that, but what can I do to get the mail and contacts downloaded from Icloud onto my Iphone? I am told that the password needs to be reset and I have erased and reset it 3x's already? Should I Restore All Settings or Restore Network Settings or will that result in a situation where I have to have it re-unlocked again? GRACIAS!

Where can I find one of those soft silicone body covers (not hardshell) for the Mac Book Pro? And is this a good idea since Apple no longer makes them? I-phones use them now.
Personally I use the Speck hard case on both of my MacBooks and they are the greates! Look around on Amazon and eBay and you can find them for $30-40. I wouldn't really recomend a silicon case for a macbook, but it's your preference.

That is probably a lot of stuff you do not want on your iPhone. So this can be handled a few different was. For you current situation, you can delete the apps directly on your iPhone by holding on the app until it starts to jiggle and then tap on the X of all the apps that you do not want. The second thing you can do is before you sync with iTunes, look at the app section on your iPhone to know what gets transfer to it and you can deselect items that you do not want. Lastly, if you download content on your iPad and it is a universal app, you can actually download it directly to your iPhone by looking at your past purchases and download it directly from the App Store. can you operate the mac book pro 15 inch with out the battery? I read somewhere in a post that it lowers the power to about 1 gig with out the battery. I asked apple and they said it is not true because you can use the comp with the power adapter and battery together or either by itself and it will not effect the 2.16 gig. Thank you.
If you remove the battery the CPU power will be cut by 50% (whatever they told you) so that there's no lack of power or overheating issues. It's best to always keep the battery in.

Could not open gmail on the mail application of the mac book pro.
Gmail has two account types, SMTP and Google IMAP.
In both cases failure in trying to log on to SMTP and Google IMAP because I have to verify that the username and password are correct.

First, make sure that all your devices are using the same Apple ID in iMessages including your Mac. Second, your messages that you've already started on your devices will not show up on your Mac - only ones that you start from now on will show up. Third, if you're still not syncing accross all devices, make sure you read the directions on the first page of this thread. It should work after performing those steps. Good luck!

We are in indonesia travelling and after downloading and installing Yosemite, on our next restart the screen went black and responds to nothing. Tried to reboot (shift key) in safe mode after first crashing the system but nothing responds except for the opening chime. Toal disaster so any help will be greatly appreciated. Judging by the comments I have read, Yosemite seems to have many issues for us to look forward to, if and when we can bring back the Mac Book Pro to life.
See if you can boot into the Recovery volume (boot with the Command + R keys held down). There you can reinstall the system.

Just bought the Mac Book Pro for my photography - set up and running last night, but the user screens ie Hot Mail, safari etc.. are only half size sat on the background - I have exhausted the help and calibration log...surel this must be simple to fix...any help out there..thanks..Paul.

This is standard on Macs. The ability to see more than one window at a time. Some apps - like iPhoto, Aperture etc - have a Full Screen mode. Check out the View menu.
Drag the lower right hand corner to resize the window.
