Why can't you do this? There's plenty of third-party software that can do the job. Download a few from
MacUpdate or CNET Downloads and try them out before choosing one to purchase.

iPhotos is still in your Applications folder. The iPhoto Library is still in your /Home/Pictures/ folder.

You still have the option of using the slideshow feature in the Photos app. It's not in the lock screen anymore, but it is stll available there.

You were probably just lucky that iCloud.com did (temporarily and partially) work on your Nexus. That website has not been designed for use by touchscreen devices and doesn't even work on Apple's own iOS devices.
Only specific desktop browsers are supported so if you're trying to use it on anything else, there's nothing you can do to make it work if it doesn't by chance.

Is it just the wireless 64g, or the one with 3G? If just wireless, you purchased the wrong one. Also, if you just wanted GPS tracking, a GPS would have been a cheaper solution, no monthly charges.

If all is pink (but you see the desktop), then normally one colour cable is broken - I think blue is off.
In your case (laptop) the connection to the display seems to be damaged, so the blue information is lost.
Normally you can test it when you twist the connection between pc and monitor. But I don't know if this works with a laptop.

I havel always used windows PC's and I recently bought a Mac Book Pro due to Apple's great movie program. I enjoy making movies, and very much enjoy to make my own films.
I was deeply surprised to find that my new mac does not bring the Idvd burn program, This means that I can edit and make my own films but I can not make my own DVD's. This does not make any sense at all!
I feel I was deceived and I would like to present a complaint to Apple. If I Knew about this, I would not buy a Mac but I would by a brand new PC, much cheapper.
I hope someone can help and advise me as to whom I can turn to to present my case, or contribute with a solution.

C. Apple discarded iDVD since several months ago and so DVD-Studio Pro. Meaning Apple has but few and bad solutions left over..
D. If within 14 days after purchase - one can try to return the Mac as it can not do what it wasbought to do. If contacted a Senior Advicor one might get lucky and get a boxed/DVD version of iLife 11 including iDVD. Many has done this.
If there is no iDVD on Your Mac (and it's not on newer Macs as Apple discarded it) then You need a program that can do this.
Your Mac can burn CDs and DVDs - BUT DVD as Data-DVDs not as Video-DVDs - they need a program to be encoded and STRUCTURED as such.
• iDVD is part of the boxed version of iLife'11 and can only be bought outside Apple as on Amazon and e-bay
• DVD Studio pro - Part of FinalCut Studio Pro bundle - this to has expired and can only be bought second handed. (High price and tough learning Curve - but best ever done.)
• Roxio Toast™ - Not as elegant as iDVD - but has many other positive additions (I like it as 10-Pro incl BD-component) (now version 11)
• Burn - only free alternative I know of on internet. Very simple - Just for doing a plain Video-DVD

I am still in the return window but i really do not want to return my mac as i know it has the ability to do what i want, my problem is just finding the software that will work as i know there has been a lot of complications with OS X Mountain Lion with softwares that caim to be compatible but then later turn out not to be.
I have been a windows user for years and this is really my first mac but apart from the hole software issue i find the mac 10x better than any windows computer i have ever used. For example i bought a HP laptop 4 weeks ago and has nothing but problems. At first the fans stopped working and making weird noises and then it began switching off when ever it felt like it and freezing like mad when i was trying to access the smallest program. I have found that now a days you dont get what you pay for with Windows especially since Windows 8 was released. Also Laptops such as HP now are just crammed with cheap parts, they dont take pride in their systems like they once used to unlike Apple. I know i will get more than a year or 2 out my mac (hopefully a lot more) but with windows systems it just seems to break all the time costing more money on extending warrantys. Also i like mac because i dont need to send it away if i ever get a problem, i can just take it into the apple shop half a mile down the road and they will fix it in store. Where as with windows i am waiting 2 weeks+ to just hear back from them.
