The main window no longer displays, how to get it back?

Aperture main window won't display. Menu options for showing any of the HUD's or the main window are all grayed out. How do I get it back?
My photo library is on an external drive. The drive appears to be working fine and the library is still there. Any ideas on how I can get back to them?

Never mind... it just started working for no apparent reason.

Plug it into iTunes, Control-click on the iPod in the left frame and select "Restore from backup." Should put it back like new.

In Firefox 3.6 and later on Windows you can hide the "Menu Bar" via "View > Toolbars" or via the right-click context menu on a toolbar.
Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).

Serial number disappears from the system profiler... How to get it back?

We have come across a known behaviour where the serial number of the computer disappears from the system profiler and 'about this mac' menu, whwnever the logic board is replaced. Any ideas how to get this information back on the computer(Seems all the macs are affected)
Is it possible to flash the firmware to copy the contents? Heard someone trying to flash BIOS? will this work or will it damage the firmware? Please HELP!!!

"Caveats for using the serial number
It is possible for a system to lose its serial number so that it will no longer appear either in System Profiler or the I/O Registry. Repairing a system by swapping hardware components is one reason this can happen. Apple does not document the specific details of how a machine can lose its serial number. Once the serial number has been lost there is no means to restore it to the machine."
It sounds like there may not be an easy (or documented) way to put the serial number back.

Windows Service is Deleted: How to get it back? Fix? Help!!!

I installed a full NW2004S SR2 with Max Db 64 Bit (Windows Server 2003 64 bit). 7.6.03.11
The install went perfectly. When I restarted the machine, it had a windows error. I used the Last Known Good Config. Windows starts.
the problem is the Service with the MaxDB starting service is gone (not in Services.msc)
How do I recreate it and point it to the proper directories?

you can re create service using ntscmgr
open cmd prompt in windows
locate your kernel directory using ( use CD command )
now execute following
ntscmgr install SAPSID_<instance number> -b <path of kernel > -p pf=<drive>:\usr\sap\SID\SYS\profile\START_DVEBMGS<instance_number>_hostname service
for example:
D:\usr\sap\IDS\SYS\exe\uc\NTI386>ntscmgr install SAPIDS_04 -b D:\usr\sap\IDS\D04
\exe\sapstartsrv.exe -p pf=D:\usr\sap\IDS\SYS\profile\START_D04_BCINICSS
M001 service
where D:\usr\sap\IDS\SYS\exe\uc\NTI386 is my kernel directory
IDS - SAP SID
04 - Instance number
BCINICSSM001 - host name
if you install abap + java system you need to create two service one for SCS instance and one for ABAP.

My iPad calendar has stopped syncing to my iPhone calendar. I didn't change any settings. I have now switched off the iCloud calendar on my iPhone but don't know how to get it back.

I added items to my iPad calendar yesterday but they wouldn't copy into the calendar on my IPhone. I switched both devices off and on again but to no avail. The calendars were all ticked the same. I have now deleted the iCloud calendar from the iPhone but don't know how to get it back.
My Errands app is also not syncing. If I mark something as Done on the iPad, it's not removing them on the iPhone version.

Press F11 and see if that works. I also just noticed upon researching that pressing the restore button will take you out of full screen!
Note: if you click on any flash object, right before hitting F11, it won't work. In this case just double click on like the scroll bar.

Try this:
Control-click the file in the Trash and select Put Back.
Then restart iMovie.

Check the location setting for the iTunes Store is correct.
You might also try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router.
If you are still having problems try a restore.

How do I get my tabs back into the main window?

I've had a problem with an add-on displaying a small extra window every time I open a session for some months now: I know you're supposed to try disabling and re-enabling every add-on you've got to find out which one is responsible, but this is a work computer and with all the add-ons I have, it would take too long, so I've just closed the extra window every time and got on with my work. However, for some reason today my forty-odd tabs have all opened in the small extra window, which has no tab bar, navigation bar or menu button. How do I get my tabs back into the main window of Firefox, or alternatively get that window to behave like a normal Firefox window so I can use it?

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).
