The manufacturer of my SD card is?

I've got a Nokia phone that came with a memory card, but there's no brand name on it.
The only thing written on it is "2GB micro SD card" and there are alphanumeric figures at the back. I'm having issues with the card & would like to contact the manufacturer.

Are you saying the M Card didn't come from Nokia?
I was saying that this does not matter where I live because I have to contact my retailer, first. Anyway, the Windows own tools do not care whether it is a microSD – however, special areas have to be created on SD cards …
Furthermore, microSD cards break quite easily thanks to ESD. Finally, because a 2 GB microSD is not worth 2 € anymore, did you consider to go for a new microSD?

That is not correct. Apple really doesn't build any parts. They are all made by some other manufacturer and then installed in Mac computers as Add-on cards or soldered onto the motherboard, Apple Speak Logic board, before it is installed in the computer.
As to the WiFi card Broadcom makes most of the chips and they are then soldered onto a Duaghter card that is then inserted in a socket. The socket for the WiFi card is near the back of the system just behind the Superdrive. That is on the standard MBP. On the Retina models I'm not sure where it is placed.

As far as I know, Apple only uses their own AirPort 'cards' (they aren't really cards anymore, but integrated chips). So the manufacturer is Apple, and the model is just AirPort.
Technically, you are correct. The original manufacturer is Broadcom, but all the WiFi chips Apple is using are rebranded as Apple, Inc. AirPort Extreme.

I bought an App last month, doesn't work. consulted the manufacture they sent me to iTunes for refund, reported the problem to iTunes, they sending me back to Manufacturer. Can someone please assist me on this, I need my refund for this non functional App. BSSoft and iTunes Stores do something here, when I go back to report it again, I get an error message stating "...this problem has been reported or too old to report..."

    Debit card? Are you sure?
USA iTunes Store does not appear to accept debit cards - http://www.apple.com/legal/itunes/us/terms.html  "The iTunes Store, Mac App Store, App Store, and iBookstore services (“Services”) accept these forms of payment: credit cards issued by U.S. banks, payments through your PayPal account, iTunes Cards, iTunes Store Gift Certificates, Content Codes, and Allowance Account balances."

  • I am a new iphone 4 user... I have insurance what does the Manufacturer Cover in damages or design flaws ?

I recently was talked into upgrading to an iphone 4.....I Love Apple and all of their products and accessories!!! My son & I have become computer genius
within 5 minutes, there is actually an app for everything....Except a design flaw or water/steam damage? I was hoping to resolve this unfortunate experience!!!
I had my iphone 4 in the outlet in the hallway near my bathroom.. I love the 80's I Heart Radio App...Apparently, the phone has water damage and needs to be looked at or replaced. I have been to 3 AT & T Stores before I received excellent customer service by speaking to the store manager...I had a different design flaw with Moto Atrix was still within the Manufacture waranty. They said it was a desin flaw with the keyboard...not able to fix and would have to pay the deductable.. That is not good enough!!! I buy everything i this i that!!! I can't live without my iphone I have money with Starbucks and also linked to Shell Rewards
and Speedway... Not to mention all my personal numbers, emails, facebook friends.....The phone was not dropped in water and was not in the same room as water but being 10 to 20 feet away something with the steam set off the water display for water damage??? I don't know why this is? When I first started on my quest with AT&T I thought I would have a grace period or design flaw? Please help!! I am unable to conduct daily day to day things without my iphone I was advised if they cracked my SIM card it's broken forever???

If the little built-in water detector on the iphone shows positive, ie water damage, then Apple will not do anything for you under warranty. The best thing that they will offer you is a swap to an identical (new phone) at a price around £150 in UK or the equivalent in your own country.   If you are backing up to iCloud (or your computer), the new replacement unit will be able to load up all your old information etc. everything apart from synced data like music which you will need to re-upload.
You could argue that the water damage sensor on the iPhone is too sensitive etc. but Apple don't respond too well to this although you will be in a better position (and will be listened to more sympathetically) if you have bought AppleCare for your iPhone.
I know that this is annoying but I hope that you manage to get your problem resolved soon.

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.
And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

  • New to the manufacturing world?  Here's a resource that might help...

I've noticed that there are lot of MII implementors who are unfamiliar with the terminology, systems, and processes in the manufacturing world.  I would definitely recommend obtaining this book and reading it from cover to cover!
    http://www.evolvedtechnologist.com/section/books/in-pursuit-perfect-plant-a-business-and-technical-guide
It is written in a format that presents a manufacturing company from many perspectives : planning, operations, maintenance, and others.  While an expert might find it somewhat redundant, I think that many of the less experienced MII consultants would derive great value from it.

[APICS|http://www.apics.org/default.htm], although not as popular as they once were, offers some education and certification (ie, CPIM).  One of the courses "Basics of Supply Chain Management", which is available in [book form|http://www.apics.org/APICS/Bookstore/ProductDetail.aspx?CS_ProductID=4186&CS_Category=&CS_Catalog=APICS+Bookstore] is also a good start.

My iTunes card won't redeem and when I try to it comes up with this "The gift certificate or prepaid card code you entered has not been properly activated. Please contact iTunes Store costumer support for assistance" can anyone help me?

Is the store that you bought the card from nearby so that you can try going back and asking if they can activate the card properly ? If it's not, or if they can't/won't activate, then you will need to do as the message says and contact iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then iTunes Cards And Codes (you will probably need to give them images of the front and back of the card, and possibly its receipt)

How can I register the iTunes without a credit card? No "None" can be selected but only different kinds of credit cards. Thanks!

Get an iTunes gift card & redeem that in iTunes using your existing Apple ID.
Then the option for none, regarding a credit card should appear.

But now I can't find the actual movie...I go to iTunes to purchases and view movies , to downloads and searched the title of the movie...I can see an icon of it and it is in a separate place from other purchases but it says downloaded in faded lettering. Where is it?
If you can't find the movie you downloaded on your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch, check inside your Videos App

  • Can members of a family group use their own credit card or payment method other than the Family Organizer's credit card?

In Family Sharing, is the Family Organizer's credit card the only method of payment for all family members? Or can family members also pay with their own credit card?

    Hello Trisa295,
Family sharing payments are all managed by the Organizer, and only the billing information on that account can be used to pay for an iTunes purchase. Take a look at this info from the following article:
    Family purchases and payments
With Family Sharing, one adult in the family—the family organizer—agrees to pay for any iTunes, iBooks, and App Store purchases that other family members initiate while they're part of the family group. This also includes ongoing subscription purchases initiated by family members, such as iCloud storage, iTunes Match, and Newsstand subscriptions.
If the members of the Family have credits or have iTunes Gift cards redeemed, that balance gets used first so an option you all have is to apply iTunes credit in some way to these member accounts:
After you set up your family, any time a family member initiates a new purchase it will be billed directly to your account unless that family member has gift or store credit. First, their store credit will be used to pay the partial or total bill. The remainder will bill to the family organizer's card.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Sterling

At startup I get grey screen and a folder with a flashing question mark.  How do I reset my MacBook Pro to the manufacture defaults?

Click here and follow the instructions. If the computer originally shipped with Mac OS X 10.6.8 or earlier, when you reach step 5, insert its original disk, restart with the C key held down, use the Disk Utility to erase the internal drive, and install a fresh OS.

    Hi again, JaysMother.
Are you making print-at-home or ship-to-home cards? For Print at Home, you could make a second card that has just the front image and blank inside surfaces (use the Plain White theme). Then feed the paper through again, upside-down. Experiment with plain paper first to make sure everything's lining up the way you want.
