I want to return the book because the map page didn't came out in the book
If the film is not available for rent and/or sale in your country then the film studio/rights-holder for your country hasn't granted Apple (and Netflix if it's not in there app) a license for it - Apple can only sell/rent content that they have licenses for.
You could try contacting the studio and ask them to make it available in iTunes in your country

Does anyone know about the update that just came out for the s3 a few days ago.
does it fix all of the bugs that people like me were having with 4.3 like apps crashing, huge battery drain and phone lagging. I have not heard anything about it and I want to hear more about it before I start to download the update in case it completely messes up my phone. I hope it fixes my problems and does not give me anymore problems.

The map page didn't come out in the book
I want to return the book because the map didn't came out, and I need a new one with the map. Iphoto gather all information and the map was on the layout. Don't know why didn't print out.
Did you proof the book before ordering as described in this Apple document? iPhoto, Aperture: Previewing an order in iPhoto or Aperture.

In AS3 how can you detect if someone pulls their camera out of the USB port?
In AS3 if the SWF gets a hold of someone's camera successfully and they start streaming video across and everything, but then mid-stream, either they accidentally wiggle their camera out of the USB port, or the camera just sort of breaks down, or something else like that, how could you detect it from that user's side? I've tried using event listeners and also polling different variables every five seconds, but neither has worked; none of the public properties of Camera or its events seem to act funny at all when something like that happens. And apparently you can't just keep scanning the computer for devices (for good reason, I guess).
Is there something I'm missing here? Is there a way to detect from a user's copy of a SWF (FP or AIR, but much more importantly FP) when their camera has effectively stopped as the result of something going wrong, such as them wiggling it out of the computer by mistake? If so how? Thanks!Run your code and disconnect your camera. What are the common properties of it? Does your stream stop? Return only a specific color frame? Those things are usable to detect it but you're right in saying you can't detect much more than a loss of packets from a NetStream object.

I just purchased a new SSD for my mac and I wanted to do a fresh/clean install on the SSD, like if my Macbook just came out of the box. How do I do that?
Install Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion Using Internet Recovery
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
Partition and Format the hard drive:
1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
2. After DU loads select your newly installed hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion. Mavericks: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet
if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
This will install the version of OS X that originally came with your model if you have a model that supports Internet Recovery - 2010 models and later: Computers that can be upgraded to use OS X Internet Recovery. -

Qosmio X775 "popping" and "cracking" sound came out from the speakers

so my problems started a few days ago when some "popping" and "cracking" came out from the speakers.
It's not all the time, but like in between 3-4 seconds i can hear it. I also connected the laptop to a speaker system and the problem remained, which means that it is not from the speakers, but from the signal.
I tried to reinstall the drivers but it seems that it's still not fixed.
Also the Waves MaxxAudio 3 disappeared when i reinstalled the drivers and now can't get it back?
Has anyone an idea of what might be causing this and how to install again the Waves Maxxaudio?

Not quite sure what could cause this sound issue but it could be possible that this crackling sound appears due to some latency problems in most cases this appears because the CPU is stressed by some processes running in the background.
I would recommend checking this using an tool called DPC latency checker.
Check if anything else is causing small DPC increases
Mostly such issues might be caused by drivers like Lan or Wlan updates might help to solve this -
Plugged my headset for the first time into my iphone4 to listen to music and the sound came out of the phone and not out of the headset. Anyone else experience this problem? is there a way around it?
Sorry saker, but if you have not backed up your data anywhere, and you told the computer, in essence to clear the data and restore it with your iPod data, then you are pretty much out of luck....

Is there a way to reset Lightroom back to when I first started the trial. In other words how it first came "out of the box"?
I read some tutorials and I would like to start fresh.Not sure what your goal is here, but there are a couple of things you can do.
In preferences>General - Reset all warning dialogs.
In Preferences>Presets - Reset all default develop settings.
Finally, if you really want to start fresh with all your photos, go to File>New Catalog. Note: the new catalog will not have any photos in it. You will have to re-import all your photos.
If you are still on the 30 day trial and you are hoping to start over with a new 30 day trial, the answer is No! -
Just got a new IPAD3, straight out of the box, but I cant charge it, I have tried with the power plug and cable out of the box that came with it but no joy, i have tried resetting the iPad but still no joy, have tried different mains plug sockets around the house with no joy, I have tried different USB mains plugs but again no joy, I tried using my new iPad cable into the USB port of my MacBook Pro laptop but still no joy, then, I tried using my old iPod classic cable into my MacBook Pro and that worked, so I have a way of charging my new iPad3 but its not practical as i have to take my MacBook Pro everywhere if I want to charge it which kind of defeats the object of having an iPad, has anybody experienced anything similar and how was it fixed? can anybody help me please...

Please note it did say at the store's discretion, but people have actually been able to return it to the on-line store. (I only saw a couple who tried.)
And given the outcry, I would think Apple might have other Apple stores join in. Just in case, though, if you can, you might bring it in today.
If it's an ARS, my guess is they can stick to their 14 day return. Apple cannot force them to do it. SO if it's not bought directly from Apple, and it's past the 14 day deal, I'd bring it in to the store today if you have one. When I gave people the cnet.com site, I gave it so people could read it and know only Apple had made the decision for Apple. And I suggested to some that an Apple reseller would probably stick with their own return policy.
Because Arnie had just bought his, he should be able to return it to Apple or an ARS because an ARS has to have some kind of full refund or at least return for credit within 7 or 14 days of purchase.

Running my 3rd generation iPad on iOS 7.0.4, I saturated all the available iPad screen space (which would be the 15 home screens or desktop worth of space) with apps, and the apps that got bumped out of the last screen space mysteriously disappeared. Where are those missing quick lauch app icons now? The apps are still installed and can be searched/accessed through the finder, but they no longer have a user friendly access. How can I solve this problem?

However, there is a basic problem that I run into before I get started.
I am logged into the system as a regular user (ie not a farm admin, etc.).
I do, however, have full control on the site on which I am working.
I create a custom list.
I create a simple one step approval - sharepoint 2010 out of the box workflow.
I start SharePoint designer and give it the URL of the list. It opens up and I see the various objects on the left side of the screen.
I click right on the Workflows object - which is where the article says I will find the ability to copy and modify the workflow.
All I see is "open", "open in a new tab" and "Pin".
I selecdt open in a new tab - and I get a blank screen labeled workflows that says "There are no items to show in this view".
So, I click on Lists and Libraries, then on the name of my custom list.
When the list displays, the Workflows section of the page has a "Modified Workflow" displayed.
When I right click on it, no menu is shown. When I click on the modified workflow, I get the workflow settings page for that workflow.
I am trying to figure out how to create the copy of the workflow so that I can modify one of the mail messages in SharePoint designer.
Is there someone who has some advice on how to find this copy and modify option? Or perhaps a web site, web forum, article series, or book covering the topic?

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to modify the OOB approval workflow in SharePoint Designer.
After opening the site in SharePoint Designer, just click Workflows in the left panel and then the workflows in the site will load in the right part.
If you want to copy and modify the OOB approval workflow, then you need to right the approval workflow
Approval – SharePoint 2010 under Globally Reusable Workflow. After that you will see the
Copy and Modify button.

My internal hard drive wont show on the desktop and is greyed out in the finder
My Internal drive will not show up on the desktop, and appears greyed out in the finder.
it shows up fine in disk utility and i have tried to repair permissions. This runs normally, there does not seem to be any problems with the drive itself.
if i unhide the hidden system folders using terminal, it appears on my desktop again, but greyed out.
any ideas how i can fix this?Try deleting the Finder .plists. You need to look in your user Library/Preferences for the .plist. Hold down the option key while using the Finder “Go To Folder” command. Enter ~/Library/Preferences. Move the .plist(s) to your desktop.
Relaunch Finder and test. If it works okay, delete the plist(s) from the desktop.
If the Finder is the same, return the .plist(s) to where you got them from, overwriting the newer ones.
If you prefer to make your user library permanently visible, use the Terminal command found below.

You might want to bookmark the command. I had to use it again after I installed 10.8.2. I have also been informed that if you drag the user library to Finder it will remain visible.
If that doesn't work, try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. If Back-to-My Mac is selected in System Preferences, the Guest account will not work. The intent is to see if it is specific to one account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.
Isolating an issue by using another user account
If the problem is still there, try booting into the Safe Mode. Shut down the computer and then power it back up. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application unistaller. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don't do them all at once.
