The material does not exist in plant or flagged for deletion

Hi All,
I have done the integration of R3 back end with SRM system (SRM 5.0) Classic scenario is working fine.
In the direct Material Procurement I get an error message that "the material does not exist in plant or flagged for deletion".
I checked R/3 side material is active only and I have assigned plant in extend attributes.
Can you please help me to resolve this problem..
Thanks
Ravi

Hi Ravi
check you validit date from and to for that material in comm_product table.* if it is valid you can do shopping or else you cant.

  • VL01N - Message VL200 -The batch does not exist in plant

    Hi all,
I try to create a delivery for a sales order via VA03 by displaying the order, select Sales document and then Delivery from the menu bar. On the Dilvery overview screen, when I enter an invalid Batch number for the item, I receive a warming messge VL 200 (The batch does not exist in plant &) and I can save the delivery. My problem is I want to put a hard stop instead of a warning message so the delivery cannot be saved. Is there any solution for this or it is impossible to put a hard stop. I was thinking of config ... but I am not familiar with this. Please help!
Thank you very much in advance,

    Hi Seshu,
In include FV50PF0L, there is a logic to either display a Warning or Abend message, so i guess something can be set to do this. Please help, thansk!

  • Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion

Windows 7 Pro laptop will not connect to corporate domain. Multiple identical twin laptops have no problem.
Best suggestion so far has been to leave the domain and rejoin it, BUT the relevant buttons are grayed out and the comment says "Note: The identification of the computer cannot be changed because:- The Workstation service is not running. Open the Services
snap-in (services.msc) to ensure it is running and set its Startup Type as "Automatic"."
In services.msc the Workstation service is already set to Automatic but is not started. When I try to start it manually the response is "Windows could not start the Workstation service on Local Computer." and then "Error 1075: The dependency service does
not exist or has been marked for deletion."
    Rebooting gets me nowhere.
In all other respects that laptop appears fine and can connect to the Internet, but NOT to the network. I have brought it and a twin laptop home to try on my domestic network and get the same results.
    Any ideas, please?

    Hi,
Let us go to services.msc and navigate to Network Store Interface Service. Please check whether this service has been set to Automatic and turned on.

  • Check Point VPN-1 Securemote service causes Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion

Has anyone ever managed to solve this one?
We have a problem on Windows 7 SP1 32bit systems.
when we try to start the Check Point VPN-1 Securemote service we get this message:
Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion
When we install a clean Windows 7 from an ISO the checkpoint client without any issues
when we use the same Windows Setup source and install it from SCCM TS - the CheckPoint client doesn't start
    the client we're installing is : CP_SeucRemoteSecureClient_NGX_R30_HFA3
which is supported for Win7 x86
other than that there are no special prerequisites for the CheckPoint client. therefore we know the problem is local :/
we tried to isolate and minimize the cause of the issues by trying to see the differences between a clean installation from ISO and a clean installation from SCCM
We know for sure the problem is not from SCCM Client, Programs and Features, Updates, Group Policy
it seems like the configuration is the same but we can't seem to find any online solution about this issue
    any suggestions?
    thanks

  • BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE Error - The material does not exist or is not activatd

Scenario is to make a Goods Receipt on a material which is being imported from external sources.
There is a purchase order created for this already in SAP.
From MII we are using standard BAPI - BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE and passing the fields below:
    GM_Code - 01 since it is a goods receipt
    Psting_date - current date
Material - material code given by SAP
Plant - Plant code on which GR takes place.
    Move_type - 101 because it is a GR
    Entry_Qnt - 1
PO_number - Purchase order which is created in SAP
When I pass these details to the standard BAPI I get a return message - " The material 10xxxxxxxx does not exist or is not activated"
Not sure where I am going wrong.
    Any help is highly appreciated.

    Thanks for your reply Vinod...
Well.. I am calling this BAPI from Netweaver MII and I just see the request and response tags to which I pass the required values to BAPI request fields.
I am not sure how to call this FM which you are refering to, can you please elobrate a bit or is there any guide I am refer to?

  • The item does not exist. It may have been deleted.

I'm getting this when trying to navigate to the InDesign forum. Is an update in progress?
I can navigate to a post I made last night through my "Your Stuff -> Discussions" link but if I try to go to the forums from the main Adobe Forum page list, then click the InDesign link to see the forum as a whole, I get the error in the title.
I've cleared my cache and restarted my browser just in case but I've had no luck.

I see the same thing in a Mac and a Win machine. In my ignorance, I would guess that the problem may be related with this:

  • Material does not exist in the warehouse number

    Hi
I am new to WM. I am in the process of learning. While learning i encountered an error indicating that the material does not exist in the warehouse number. i hava configured the required organisational structure configuration for WM,
Is anything i have to configure for material or material type it belongs to the warehouse number and if it is yes where can i configure the same.?
    Regards
    Siva

What is the exact error message and code and in which transaction is it occuring?
The material has to be maintained at the following views:
    - Basic Data
    - Sales: General/Plant
    - Purchasing
    - General Plant/Data Storage
    - Warehouse Management
    - Accounting
Make sure the material exists at each and every  Storage Type you use.
You might also need to check the following settings:
IMG > Logistics Execution > Warehouse Management > Interfaces > Inventory Management > Define Storage Location Control
And delete any un-necessary Warhouse to Plant assignments in
IMG > Enterprise Structure > Assignment > Logistics Execution > Assign warehouse number to plant/storage location

  • MM305: Material does not exist

    Hello Experts,
Although this BW related but i thought this might be the appropriate forum:
I am trying to load data in BW for Purchasing. However, the data loads are failing with the following error message:
You wanted to display or process data on the material 100046399 .
However, the material does not yet exist; that is, it has not yet been
created, or its creation has been scheduled, but the material has not
    yet been activated.
I investigated further a found out a Stock transport order in the R/3 system which had a line item for the material 100046399 but the material doesn't actually exists in the MARA (Material master table).
Furthermore, this stock transport order was put on hold but even a hold creates an entry in the Purchasing tables which is why the data gets extracted to BW
So, the question is how can a PO be created with a non-existent material?
Has anyone seen a similar situation? what could be a possible fix for this?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Rishi

I curerntly have a similar case with a PO  having a material that did not exist.
in my system this was caused by incorrect migration process from R2 to R3  11 years back.
The POs were transferred 1:1, but material were only transferred if it did not have a deletion indicator.
(this migration was done by SAP, I dont know what programs they used for this)
I have the situation that I cannot archive the PO because of open GR/IR postings. but I cannot clear GR/IR account with MR11 because I get message that material does not exist.

  • Error when opening indd-file: Either the file does not exist, you do not have permission, or the...

Hi! I'm having trouble opening a indd-file. It was sent to me as a zip-fil along with the used fonts and links. When I try to open the file, I'm getting this error: "Either the file does not exist, you do not have permission, or the file may be in use by another application". I've tried to look up this error both here in these forums and through google, but can't find a similar case. Hope someone can help me with this. Please let me know if you need more information/details, and I'll provide. Thanks!

    function(){return A.apply(null,[this].concat($A(arguments)))}
I'm suspecting it to come from a mac user, if that could influence the case...
It does come from a Mac, as is proven by the fonts, which are of no use on my Windows machine, but that doesn't prevent my CS4 to open it without any problem. It seems to me it's a perfectly regular CS2 file.
Just for cheers I set the file to Read-only, but my InDesign opens it regardless (again as a copy, because it's a "converted" file).
Could it be something in your environment? No network read/write privileges, insufficient free hard disk space, stuff like that?

  • "the path does not exist" error opening shared adobe files on XP machine

We recently upgraded a mac mini from Tiger (10.4.11) to Leopard (10.5.X) we updated to the most recent 10.5.
We have an office with 3 macs and 1 XP.
All users connect to the Mac Mini via SMB sharing.
Everyone Authenticates as the same admin user.
*The XP machine can open and save all file types EXCEPT Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator files.*
    They are using CS3.
The mac and XP users could open save and share all files prior to the leopard update.
We used the "Archive and Install" option to upgrade to leopard.
The shared files had the "unknown Group" error which we solved by adding them to the ADMIN group. This step changed the error message the the XP user was receiving.
I have tried many networking fixes, including group policy on windows, turning off IPv6 on the Mini, but we cannot open or save files directly from Illustrator.
    When the file
We can move files to the XP desktop then open and save. Files saved on the XP machine can be moved back to the mini and opened directly by all of the Mac users.
Any guesses why this might be occurring?

There are actually two separate error messages received by the windows user when trying to open files off of the Mini.
"the path does not exist" and "this file cannot be found".
This happens when we navigate directly to the file with windows explorer.

  • WebPartPagesWebService.GetWebPartProperties gives The file is not available. Either the file does not exist or it cannot be edited from its current location.

    Hi,
I am trying to get all web parts from our sharepoint site by calling web service method GetWebPartProperties of WebPartsPages service. The method works fine for the root page (Home Page) but for pages in sub site i get this in the xml
node, Outer XML - <WebParts xmlns="http://microsoft.com/sharepoint/webpartpages"><!--The file is not available. Either the file does not exist or it cannot be edited from its current location.--></WebParts>. I am struck here.
Please help me understand why i am getting this?
    Regards,
    Kalim

    Hi,
    We can do as follows:
    1. Mark sure the page URL is correct.
    2. Check whether current user has permission to access  the page.
    3. Use SPServices to get web part properties.

  • The user does not exist or is not unique - workflow problem

I am using Solution Starters Dynamic Management workflow on my Project Server 2010.  I was working fine for a year now, but today all workflows were broken when someone tried to submit them to a next stage. "Workflow terminated. An error has occurred
    in the workflow."
I tried debbuging the workflow and it seems to be OK, but the problem appears when it needs to assign tasks to the approvers (they are in the Approvers group). When I remove users from the group that represents approvers (and leave that group empty), it
works fine, so I am guessing that users (who need to approve the stage) are the problem. My administrators are saying that there were no updates or changes on AD machine.
I don't have problem with users in any of people picker fields or anywhere else on the site. I am using claims auth.
What could be the reason for this behavior??
These are main errors from the log:
Failed to persist workflow instance: 7dc2e035-cd02-4284-b851-a829e372a809 with error code: 5, instance data size: 29578, internal state: Running, processing id: 1e2211d2-ef7b-4416-90ef-ac041396c200    2f83db27-34da-4275-a42e-0625240af921
The user does not exist or is not unique.
WinWF Internal Error, terminating workflow Id# 7dc2e035-cd02-4284-b851-a829e372a809
System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Specified argument was out of the range of valid values.  Parameter name: additionalNodes     at Microsoft.Office.Workflow.Actions.OfficeTask.ProcessTaskError(Object sender, EventArgs e)
    at System.Workflow.ComponentModel.ActivityExecutorDelegateInfo`1.ActivityExecutorDelegateOperation.Run(IWorkflowCoreRuntime workflowCoreRuntime)     at System.Workflow.Runtime.Scheduler.Run()

It appears that this isn't the problem with users, but it is a problem with Office Tasks. This is the main error in ULS logs (same as in the previous post):
"Specified argument was out of the range of valid values.  Parameter name: additionalNodes"
I noticed that all content types are gone from my pwa site. Is it possible that my workflow is causing problems when adding tasks because somebody deleted all content types??

I've got problem with opening a file in InDesign. The file type is an InDesign Markup Document. The error message is: Either the file does not exist, you do not have read access to it, or use the file in another application. What's wrong?
