The menu bar seems to be there but I cannot open it when I click on it, Why?

I see the menu bar which seems to be separate then the window but when I click on it nothing happens. It's not just a problem with my computer I checked other programs and there seems to be no problem. I have a macbook pro.
I was just wondering why I cannot click on the menu bar.

#Right click the existing shortcut and go to Properties.
#Then click the button called ''Find Target'' which will take you to '''firefox.exe'''.
#Delete the existing desktop shortcut.
#Right click and hold down the right mouse button while you drag firefox.exe out of its folder and onto the desktop. When you let go of the right mouse button, you'll get a menu. Choose '''Create Shortcut Here'''.
I believe the "Find Target" button has changed in Windows 7, but I can't recall what it's called now.

You can trun off the menu while the VI is running by going into the VI properties (right click on the VI icon and select 'Properties). Then from the Catagory selestion box, select Window Appearance, click the Customize button, then uncheck the Show Menu Bar check box and hit OK twice. That shold do it.
Note that this will only turn off the menu while the VI is running. The standard menu will always be showing when the VI is not running.

When you turn on your Mac is will search for any computers that it's possible to connect to. You can't connect with any of them unless you and other computer user set up a sharing network.
It's like looking through a window. You can see someone on the other side but can't communicate with them unless you open the window and shout at them.

I was trying to hide just my clock for the history and the menu bar(file,edit all that), I dont know what i clicked but it got rid of everything except for the bookmark tabs. I know if you right click on the menu bar you can fix it, but since there is no menu bar anymore, this isnt working. i looked up how to do it in the forum found out you can press alt and do it that way, maybe i didnt do right, but that didnt work either.please help me!

When I turn on my Macbook, only a blue screen appears with no Dock or info in the menu bar

When I went to turn on my Macbook OS X today, only a blue background showed up. For some reason the only program that opened was Bittorrent and besides that in the menu bar at the top there is nothing on the screen. The dock wont appear even if I hold my mouse down over where it should be. There is no time display in the menu bar. I can open single applications at a time by clicking on the apple icon in the left corner of the menu bar and selecting "recent items" but other than that nothing else works. When I go into "system preferences" and try to click different display options for the dock and menu bar such as the clock, it won't let me select it.
I tired booting up the computer in "safe mode" and everything was fine, but then when I went to do a regular start up the same problem occurred.
Has any one else seen this problem.

Try running this program and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read.

The "Menu bar" duplicates itself in IE9

I always have the "menu bar" displayed by default in IE9. Sometimes, several times a day, the "menu bar" will duplicate itself and display twice on the browser screen. If I turn the "menu bar" off and back on the problem goes away for a while
but will return. I am just wondering if this is happening to anybody else or is it just me? Here is an example of what the screen looks like with two menu bars. Oh, the top "menu bar" does not work.

Usually that's a symptom of a problem with a video driver, especially if the Menu bar is not pinned, e.g. if it only shows when Alt- is pressed. In that case a possible workaround would be ticking

There is some other toolbar showing between the two. What would that be? Is it relevant to the Google page you are in? E.g. perhaps a Google toolbar? Then I would try disabling or uninstalling that to change your symptom. (It
would change your symptom because then that bar would not be there. <w>)
Also, it may be relevant to know if you ever use Fullscreen mode, e.g. press F11 to toggle that on and off, since that would flip it off and on and perhaps cause confusion for your video system, especially if the window is otherwise in Maximized mode and
the Fullscreen mode used without its conventional Auto-hide option (e.g. Alt-Space h would be unchecked). Etc. (E.g. I think that using a pinned website could also be an example of when the option could be on in some cases but off in others.)

you get a pull down menu. How can I restore the regular menu bar?

If your talking about the pse 8 organizer then usually the cause is the system dpi settings are something other than the default 100%
On windows 8 hit the Windows Logo Key+R to display the Run dialog.
Then type control in the dialog and hit enter to display the control panel.
In the control panel click on Appearance and Personalization and then click on Display
and then click on Smaller-100% (default)
Then you'll probaly have to sign out and sign back in for the changes to take effect.

Try this basic troubleshooting technique: make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.

3 - reboot
4 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
