The menu button will not work and I cannot turn the ipod off using the top button either. What do I do?

Try:
fix for Home button
Fix a broken, unresponsive or sticky iPhone Home Button
- If you have iOS 5 and later you can turn on Assistive Touch it add the Home and other buttons to the iPods screen. Settings>General>Accessibility>Assistive Touch
- If not under warranty Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for:
Apple - Support - iPod - Repair pricing
- There are third-party places like the following that will repair the Home button. Google for more.

Also try restoring the iPod via iTunes. If it is necessary to place the iPod in recovery mode to restore use this program.

- After charging for 1/2 hour or so, does iTunes see the iPod? If yes, restore the iPod from backup.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
Where it says place the iPod in recovery mode use this program vice the iPod's buttons

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Source list, and then click Restore.
If when you choose restore you get a message that the device cannot be found, download the file below

Then hold down the option key while choosing restore and select the downloaded file when prompted.

A button is not working and I cannot sign in????

Hi All. I had to purchase a new unit through work as my A button would not work anymore.
I was able to recoup all of my contacts, memos, tasks, calendar, etc from my last sync but my passwords folder did not sync and therefore is still locked in my curve.
Does anyone have any idea how I can sign in without a functional a button when I have A's in my sign in password.
The button does not appear to be stuck or depressed permenantly.
Thank you for everyones help with this as I will never recover these without getting to see them again.

Did you perform a full backup of all the data in the BlackBerry® Curve™? If you did, you can just restore the full backup and it will include the password keeper information.
To create a backup, go to Device>Backup in BlackBerry® Desktop Software.

My iPad shows a text box on my start up screen iCloud backup stating that the iPad has not been backed up in 2 weeks etc and i press "ok" to acknowledge but it will not erase and I cannot turn the pad off by the main on off switch - cannot use pad!!

My Ipod will not charge and I cannot turn it on

My ipod will not charge was working fine yesterday. I have connected it to itunes it up dates the softwre but once it has finished the unit turns itsekf off and will not charge.

Plug it into the charger that came with the device and plug that into a known good wall outlet. If the battery is completely drained it may take an hour or more before the device shows some signs of life.

My built in camera is not working and I cannot find out how to fix the problem

I looked throught he manual but could find no trouble shoot help. it was working fine but now I just get a black box if I use video in say skype or if I use photo booth. Both are set with the built in camera as their preference.

No you can't. Apple don't support downgrading of iOS.

Basic troubleshooting steps outline in the manual are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. Try each of these in order until the problem is resolved. If you've been through all these steps and the trouble persists, you'll need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation. Be sure to make an appointment first at the Genius Bar so you won't have a long wait.

They used to play before on my Iphone4 with no problem, but since I upgraded to the Iphone4s there is an issue.

I am having the same problem. I have just tried this. Unplug iphone > open itunes > delete all music from itunes library > close itunes > re-open itunes > add music from original folder > plug in iphone > select songs > press sync > unplug iphone using eject button onscreen > checked phone .... still nothing in music folder on phone. On itunes the "On this iphone" tab the songs remain there but greyed out.

It doesn't sound like the Exchange environment is configured in a manner to support these types of clients very well. Have your Exchange team look at the following

You might want to:
Ask your Exchange team the public URLs (ExternalURL) for Exchange OWA & ActiveSync
Open the OWA URL in your Internet Explorer from your Surface
If you get a Certificate warning, open the certificate and select Install (NOTE: You may have to install the entire certificate chain). Your desktop support team should be able to support this because it is the SAME process for standard Windows 8x
desktops.
Confirm that you can open OWA on your surface with no more certificate or security warnings. NOTE: The Exchange team will have to configured OWA properly.
Once confirmed, repeat the same steps for the activesync URL that they provided.
When done, try using the OWA OR ActiveSync URL value in your settings of your Mail client.

On my MacBook Pro, sometimes when I click to close tabs in Safari the button will not work. I have to click on some other part of the screen and then it will. This happens in other programs like Word/Excel for changing font, etc. Solution/Suggestions?
