The message suggestions that pop up while typing have disappeared. How do I get this feature back?

I recently upgraded to ios 8.0.2 on the iPhone 5. One new feature I noticed was a grey box that listed word suggestions to add to a text as it was being typed (not to be confused with the auto correct or original word bubble that pops up for autocomplete). It disappeared and I am not sure why or how I can get this feature back.

If there is a thin gray bar with a white dash in the middle immediately above the keyboard, you can reopen the suggestions by placing a finger on the white dash and dragging up.
You can turn the suggestions on/off by going to Settings > General > Keyboard > Predictives

Go to Settings > General > Siri and turn Siri on. Once you turn it on, you will have the microphone key back on the keyboard

First of all you should really post this in Itunes forums cause you might get more hits on it.. Anyway.. You can only authorize up to 5 comps on one itunes account.. This does not include iOS devices. Those you can have 10.
So to fix this issue, open itunes, hit store on the left side, click log in (or your e-mail address if you are already logged in) in the top right hard corner of the page. One you log into your account you will see a a little area where it says you authorized 5 out of 5 comps. Below it should be a button to clear all those out. Itunes will de-authorize all computers on the account then you need to go back Store tab in the menu bar and select authorize this computer.
Remember it will deauthorize all your computers, so you need to re-authorize any other computers you have.

Will Alt+arrowLeft go back, and Alt+arrowRight go forward ? Just curious because never asked before -- but wouldn't be much good without the clue that the toolbar arrows provide. I use the mouse back/forward buttons or the keyboard shortcuts, but rely on the what the back/forward toolbar buttons show.
See these two, try everything you can before renaming places.sqlite, such as the corrupt local store, backing up and restoring bookmarks, etc. -- because you do not want to lose your history by deleting or renaming places.sqlite. I have never had to delete places.sqlite but I did delete history once when I thought they wouldn't actually delete all your history from a tool bar button would they (that is a bit more protected now, at least by default).

I can only go back one page at a time because the drop-down jump back multiple pages feature is missing; how do I get this feature back?

On Firefox 3.6 the back and forward buttons also had a drop-down menu to enable me to jump back to one of the last, say, 10 pages I had viewed rather than only go back one at a time. Also, the reload button appears to be missing and I can't figure out how to bring these back. Otherwise, an awesome upgrade; thanks for all your hard work on this fantastic product.

You can right-click either Back or Forward button to open the tab history list.

It's worth noting that if your Gmail has been hacked, it would likely have nothing to do with your MacBook. Hacking web based email is fairly common and it doesn't require any access to your machine whatsoever. In the same way that you can simply go to the Gmail webpage through any browser, any hacker can use the same method. It doesn't mean your machine has been compromised in any way (and it has likely not been). I have never received an email from Google of this nature. I have received notifications when someone has attempted to create an account with my name in which they basically say that there is no action required if you're the rightful owner.

It looks like the CD is damaged. You could try copying the entire CD on to your hard disk in a temporary folder and then launch the setup.exe file by double clicking on it.
Can you do this? Please post back.
Whether 5 can run in Windows 7 is something I don't know. You just have to try it.

The change between Firefox 3.6.* and Firefox 4 is how location bar search works. In Firefox 3.6 it uses Google "Browse by name" search. With the browse by name search, it performs a Google search and if there is a clear match it will take you to the site, otherwise it shows the Google search result. With Firefox 4 it just performs a Google search if you type something which is not recognised as a URL.
To get the Firefox 3.6 behaviour on Firefox 4 you need to change a hidden preference.

On that PC, launch iTunes. From the menu bar top of your screen click Store / Authorize This Computer.

One thing often tried first is to create a new document and File>Place the corrupted one to see how much may be rescued that way (remember to tick Paste remembers Layers in the Layer palette flyout/dropdown first, and to untick it afterwards).
