I had tried that, but tried it again. No luck...this is so frustrating! Can anyone help? I tried calling Tech Support but I am one month over the "Phone Support" warranty even though I pay monthly for a continued warranty. GRRRR Any ideas?? Thanks!

what is unknown error(1) !!! it appears every time i tried to update and install iphone soft ware!!! Further, that error appears once the firmware installation is in process !!!
Usually occurs on devices that have either been jailbroken or attempts have been made to downgrade the iOS. You can try putting it in DFU mode to restore but you may not be able to fix it. If you phone has been jailbroken we can't support you in these forums as it is against the terms of use.

A message saying Unexpected Error appears every time I try to open After Effects. I can't use the application as a result.
ANY IDEAS?????Okay, I'm using After Effects CS4. I am on a Mac OSX 10.7.3
The message "Unepected Error" appears and is then followed by another window which says "After Effects can't continue: unexpected failure during application set up."
This all began when I was working on a project and left it for about an hour. When I came back to my computer AE had crashed and these are the messages I get when I try to re-start it.
I've recently switched computers and transfered all the software from the old one to this new one.
I used to have this same problem when I used AE on my old mac but deleted some files, I think 'Preferences', from the AE folder in Applications and this sorted the problem out.
'Preferences' don't appear in the AE folder on my new Mac. -

When I updated my iPad 3 and iPod Touch 4th generation to iOS 6 a few months back, I was able to update the iPad effortlessly over WiFi. but I kept getting error messages when trying to update the iPod over WiFi, so I used iTunes on my MacBook Pro.
Connect the iPad to the computer, launch iTunes. Select the iPad under the devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update
If you are using iTunes 11, go to View>Show Sidebar at the top - so the sidebar is visible. -
It is an annoying popup window that should not be allowed to persist I say no every time. I found a fix for it in the UK but none for Canada.

Ok...I'm going to go through what happens on my PC step by step and see if anybody has a suggestion on what I need to do.
I just plugged in my iPhone...a box pops up that says "Apple iPhone, Camera Connected, Select the program to launch for this action:" I then select Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard and click ok. Then a box pops up that says "Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard...it shows an icon of a camera and a computer monitor and says "Reading Picture Information" it does this for a full minute and then a box pops up that says "The computer cannot detect the scanner or camera. Please make sure the device is turned on and is properly connected to the computer"
Now here's step two that I try:
I go through "My Computer" I can see the camera icon that says Apple iPhone...I right click on it...and one of the options is "Get Pictures" so I click on that...and the same box pops up from before that shows the camera icon and the monitor icon and says "Reading Picture Information" but this time a different message pops up that says "The scanner or camera is in use. Please try again later"
So the next thing I try is double clicking on the icon instead of right clicking...it opens an empty window but on the left hand side gives me some "Camera Tasks" to choose from and I choose "Get Pictures From Camera" The same "Reading Picture Information" pops up and then the same " The scanner or camera is in use. Please try again later" message pops up.
The phone is not locked.
This is driving me insane...I've been trying to do this since I got the phone 6/29/07 I've ran the windows update to make sure all my stuff is up to date...I DON'T GET IT. -

Just like the title says, starting with Firefox 4 Beta 6 or 7, I forgot. Any time I try to open a new blank tab (sometimes even when I start up Firefox and the app tabs load) I get an error that says "JavaScript Application - Reference Error: XPCSafeJSObjectWrapper is not defined" If I close it everything works as normal again (until I open a new tab) but it is very annoying to have to do this. I have fully up-to-date everything on my iPhone and computer and iTunes. I have an iPhone5 and MacBook Pro. I synced my iPhone this morning and it has 12 or so gigs of free space (even with my music and some photos on it). Then I deleted some voice memos in iTunes, and wanted to sync again to reclaim the space. When I tried, it said I had 29G of "other" data and that my phone was way over capacity and can't sync. I tried a few online solutions to force it to recalculate, but now it says it is about 90% "other"!! Only 8G of 64G free, and "other" is the ONLY thing in the summary bar.
I un-checked music for syncing, thinking that must be the problem. It did not help. Now there is nothing on my phone except "other", according to iTunes (not even photos).
I cannot restore from backup now, since the backup includes the giant "other". I don't want to delete my info on my phone knowing a corrupted backup is my only alternative.
Help!Thanks so much Meg. Unfortunately, iTunes is the program I use to perform syncing. I don't really have other outside options. It is also the location of the backup I would use to restore my phone, and my only way to reclaim important data. I am concerned that, since the last backup occurred when the "other" bar was only moderately huge (around 29G I think), that a backup would replicate the problem back onto my phone.
My contacts, etc. are all in address book and the calendar app on my Mac. As far as I know, iTunes is the way to get them back, but iTunes is where the problem is.
Any thoughts on this? -
please, when I installed win 8 pro using boot camp vers. 5.0.2 it was completed but when win start the first time to be signed my user name and password the mid of screen appeare blue and the other black, then the whole things stoped.

As I've said, brand new iPod touch. I only synced it Friday night, put some music on it. This morning tried to connect to iTunes and got a message saying the pairing record was missing? Computer isn't recognising it either, but it charges off the computer just fine. Have tried everything including changing USB port, rebooting, uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes twice, literally everything I've found on forums. Anyone help me out here? I'm so annoyed I could nearly cry.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.<br />
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.<br />
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.<br />

Just as above, Works makes documents crazy (eg someone sends me a .doc file by email, I go to open it and it automatically opens as a .wps and I can't get it to stop!) and no-one else can open .wps documents.
