The Mic 2 input doesn't work on my Creative Audigy 2Z any id

I have a COMPAQ computer with The Audigy 2 ZS installed with the PC and in front of the machine. I plug the Mic in to the Audigy ZS in the "Mic 2 in - Line 2" input, and I can't get any sound out of it. My volume control properties says Mic is enabled, but should there be a mic 2? The Creative Sound Mixer has no Microphone listed at all. What do I need to do to enable this sound for the mic? Any quick fixes? I don??t have experience with this unit but did you check the mouse properties settings.
How did you connect the mouse? Did you use a PS/2 to USB adapter or does this unit have a PS2 port?

I have an iPhone5 bought in late Dec 2012.
I've noticed on rare occassions that the volume down button some times would not respond.
Starting yesterday, the volume down button would not respond more consistently.
Sometimes a reset would fix it, sometimes a reset network would fix it, but the problem would come back.
Came across this thread, and pressing gently on the upper right hand corner fixed it!
I remember seeing some video on Youtube or iFixit that shows how to replace the power button. It appears that the volume buttons and the power buttons are tied in together on the same piece of connector. I supposed taking the iphone in and out of cases may have warped or twisted the connector inside the case ever so slightly that the sensor for the down volume button got shifted.
The down volume button works now, after doing the trick you suggested. I'll wait and see if it comes back before taking it in for warranty repair.

you just have to close completely you Ipod (push 5-10 seconds on the button to open/close you ipod and slide the turn off) after open the ipod and it suppose to be correct I hope I answer to your question!

The mouse scroll wheel doesn't work with Xorg

I recently installed Solaris 10 on my x86 box. One issue is that the mouse scroll wheel doesn't work with Xorg. Hmmm... Okay, it sometimes did work, and most of the time went on strike, and recovered at random. This pattern continued.
My mouse is an ordinary PS/2 one with two buttons and a scroll wheel. I want to promise that there's absolutely nothing wrong with it per se. Here is some info:

The one at the top of the list is for the International English version of AppleWorks. The US English version is the one in the box at the upper right, identified only by its file size.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the "Languages" Tab
2. Check "Install files for complex..." checkbox
3. Press Apply, Windows may ask you to insert your Windows XP
Installation CD
4. Press on the "Details" button
5. Press the "Add" button
6. Choose the "Armenian" or select item from the first combo
box,
7. Press OK
8. Press the "Language Bar..." button
9. Check the "Show the Language bar on the desktop" checkbox
if it is not checked
Now try to write in Armenian language in the edit box, the
font is Sylfaen which is supporting Armenian.
You will see "?"-s instead of letters.
Now open the Notepad, select the Sylfaen font in
Format->Font menu item, write something in mentioned language,
you will see normal letters,
now copy them and pasete them to the edit box below, you will
see normal text, so, normal input doesn't working, copy-paste is
working.

It looks like the syntax has changed slightly. I verified this works in Mavericks
Here is the new syntax:
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -boolean true
killall Finder
The reverse is
defaults delete com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles
killall Finder

contenant Templates > My Templates
comme il y a un dossier

Depuis le Finder, tapez cmd + f
puis configurez la recherche comme sur cette recopie d'écran.
puis lancez la recherche.
Ainsi, vous allez trouver vos modèles personnalisés dans leur dossier.
Chez moi, il y en a une kyrielle en dehors des dossiers standards parce que je renomme wxcvb.template quasiment tous mes documents Pages et wxcvb.nmbtemplate à peu près tous mes documents Numbers.
Ainsi, quand je travaille sur un document, je ne suis pas ralenti par Autosave.

URGENT - Error "Unable to open file because it isn't a valid Keynote document" - and there is no index file (so the usually suggested solution doesn't work)

As you see in the heading, I am getting the error "Unable to open file because it isn't a valid Keynote document". There has been a number of threads on this and there seems to be a usual work around that works in many cases, by changing the file extension to .zip and then looking for the index file and making some more extension changes...unfortunately, in my case (and it also happened to others), there is no index file, so the usually suggested solution doesn't work...Can someone please help? I am working on a tight deadline and would like to try and recover the file.

Have you tried to create a new Keynote Presentation? Do you have another previously saved Keynote file you can try to open? These will make sure it is a problem with this specific presentation and not the whole program.
Try to delete the Keynote Preferences. They are located in the folder Macintosh HD>Users>your username>Library>Preferences and titled com.apple.iWork.Keynote.plist.
Your profile shows that you are still on Mc OS 10.6.6, is that true? You might try to update to 10.6.7 as I believe that there was a font issue fixed in this update (I don't know for sure since I am still on 10.5.8).
Try those and report back and we will see what we can come up with.

I too had exact issue what you were experienced, then I went to Apple autorised service center and submitted my earpods, their it worked with all versions of Apple iphones, but it didn't worked on my 3gs. The service technician suggested for OS upgrade.Then I came home and I took the backup and upgraded 5.1 to 6.1 as he suggested, also it didn't worked. I was totally frustated and suddenly I got an idea!. What a funny thing here is, a safety pin resolved my issue, I took out all dust which was there in the jack hole. Then I check my earpods, it was amazing you know..MY EAR PODS WORKED!.

The big problem is that the onDeactivate event handler doesn’t work.
Here’s an example that works in InDesign CSx but not in InDesign CC:

With the Lion it is essentially unnecessary to resort to external driver disks. What's more, most of those disks are incompatible with the OS and should not be used. The system already carries a wide variety of printer description files (aka PPDs, which is what modern printing systems use as "drivers") for a lot of brands. And there was an HP printer update just two days ago.
Just checked in mine and did indeed find that the HP OfficeJet 6200 Series, with or without Fax, is covered with the latest update.
So just go thru the motions of creating a proper printer instance:
Make sure the Mac "sees" the printer on the network.
System Preferences / Print & Scan
Click on the + button on the left column
Select the appropriate type of printer, will use IP for the rest of this
Select HP Jetdirect - Socket, default for HP network printers
Type the IP address or look it up
Name the printer for easy identification on the print dialog
Let the Mac identify the printer model or manually choose the driver
Click Add.
Once the instance pops up in the list, can click on Options & Supplies for further config.
