Double click the home button and swipe up the messages app to stop it, then open the app again. This pretty much completely stops the process and freshly opens it again, resolving problems at times. I have had this happen before as well on my iPad, I get a banner, check messages, and nothing new is there.
If that doesn't work, close the app like suggested above, but then restart the phone by holding down the home and lock button for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears. -

i can no longer connect to itunes. a message comes up "we could not complete your itunes request. The itunes store is temporarily unavailable. please try again later. but when i use a different acct. it goes through right away . why did this start happening?
I don't know - but I am having the same problem and have not had any useful help from Apple Support. Everything they told be to do has been done and it hasn't fixed the problem.

i use a macbook pro which came with facetime i have an iphone 4S as well. whenever i use the wireless on my iphone i can facetime with ease however when i use the same wireless for my mac to facetime the call always gets disconnected.
To use factime on your Mac, I believe you will need to use your email address to do so instead of your wireless number. Since you can't make calls on the Mac.

Hi here's what happend, after a download of the new iphone software the microphone on my iphone stopped working, i restarted it, restored it, and everything else and still doesn't work, how can i get it to work again?? nothing in your forums or support tells me what to do about this issue, so the problem is that i receive a call and i can hear the caller fine but thay can't hear a word i say, not even the voice note app that comes with the update works!! what can i do?
at last, someone with exactly the same issue. I loaded the software & now I am dropping out during a call for example, I can hear the caller but unless I press the loud speaker I cannot get them to hear me. I have restored, deleted, fiddled.....no go. Even replaced the sim card. May get 2-3 calls in before it gives up. Unless I "reset" the phone I can't get it back to normal, then only for a few calls. Have turned off the bluetooth in case this was somehow interfering.....don't bother as that does no good. Can you tell me if you press the loudspeaker option on the screen when your fails that this allows you comm's ok?

How exactly are you not getting any support... what have you done or attempted that you did not get support with?
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
If none of the above resolves the issue, take the device to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement. -
OS 10.3 works with Linksys but when startup using 9.2.2 won't work
I apologize if I'm on the wrong forum. I don't know if what I'm asking applies to Express or Extreme--all I know is that I have an airport card in my laptop. I have a wirless airport card in my old titanium G4 and it works fine with my Linksys SRX router when I'm running 10.3. When I start in 9.2.2 (which I have to do to run the version of Virtual PC I own) I can't seem to get the computer to talk to the Linksys. I set appletalk to airport and TCP/IP to airport and DHCP but when I type in the password for the router it says it can't go to the network. Any thoughts? I used to use the 9.2 side with an airport base station that has since died and I hadn't used the 9.2 since I bought the linksys. Thank you.

You need to be running 10.3 or later to connect to a WPA encrypted network, a Mac running OS 9.22 will only be able to connect to a WEP encrypted network.

Did you add the movie to your iTunes library via File>Add to Library in the iTunes menu and then select the movie to sync to your iPad in the Movies tab of iTunes?

Try this:
1. Reset the iPhone by pressing and holding the sleep/wake and home buttons and releasing them, when the Apple logo appears on the display. Now test again.
2. If the issue persists: Restore the iPhone without any of your own content, using this description from Apple: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137
3. If the issue persists, Your iPhone need repair. -

I have an apple ID which I use to sign into icloud for my iPad and iPhone.But when I use the same ID for setting up iCloud on my Macbook it says INCORRECT ID or password, try again. I tried changing my passwords several times but it does not work for the macbook.
You will have to provide the correct password to delete the existing account, if you have tried but are not getting the password reset email, contact Apple for assistance by going to https://expresslane.apple.com, then click More Products and Services>Apple ID>Other Apple ID Topics>Lost or forgotten Apple ID password.
