The music and videos disappear to my iphone 3g and applications not start, this problem happens to me several times, after switching iphone.
How can we solve?

You can only sync to one iTunes library but you can manage music and videos among different computer/libraries.
It appears that you are trying to sync with a different library.
- If you want to make the Mac you syncing computer:
--- Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by:
iOS: How to back up
--- Restore the iPod from that backup. Note that synced media like apps and music are not in included in the backup.

My ipod touch 4th Gen doesn't show me the music and videos I have, even though I can see it all in the I tunes and I can see that the ipod memory is full as it was... What to do???

Not compatible.
All the iOS devices compatible (iPhone 4 and later, iPad 2 and later, and 5G iPod touch) with iOS 7 have at least 512 MB of memory. The 4G only has 256 MB

My music and videos disappeared from my iPod touch!!! :(

I just realized today that I've lost all my music and videos (movies, podcasts, etc.) from my iPod! I haven't connected it to our computer in quite a while, I've just been charging it with a wall-plug.
I did go onto wireless internet at the airport last week, but I don't know if that would have corrupted it?
The problem is, I can't re-load all the music and videos back onto my iPod, because the USB ports on my laptop aren't working, and that's where my iTunes are... Is there another way to transfer my iTunes content to somebody else's computer? Burning my songs on CD's isn't an option - i have 1500 songs, and I've been able to fit about 20 on a CD....

All the music and every video on the music and video programs are not playing. The sound from every app, and the selection sounds are working but not anything from itunes. I t isn't only the volume or audio because when I press play the time does not start on the music, and the videos do not load. What would have caused this? Would this be something from the i tunes program, or a virus on my i pod?

Cannot sync music and videos to an iPhone 5 running iOS 8.0 b1 on iTunes 11.2.2

Hey everyone.
Yesterday, I decided to take the leap to iOS 8.0 beta 1 on my iPhone 5. So far, things have been working ok (with the expected bugs here and there), except for this one thing above.
After I got it all installed on my iPhone, I then proceeded to restore from my most recent backup that I made prior to the install of this first beta of iOS 8.0. All that other stuff (my contacts, apps, and ringtones) came back just fine. For some reason, when it got to the part with syncing my music and videos, it was able to initally get them copied over, but then iTunes would get stuck on either "waiting for items to copy" or "waiting for changes to be applied". I remember this same thing happening last year when I updated to iTunes 11 as well.
Is there any workaround I can do to get this to work, or am I going to have to wait for the next update of iTunes to come out? What I'm guessing is that I won't be able to sync these things right now as the current version of iTunes only has full support for up to the most recent public release of iOS, 7.1.1. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
Also, I have one other little error to ask about. After clicking on check for updates from the menubar, for some reason after checking for updates to iTunes it will show this message: "The iPhone software update server could not be contacted. An unknown error occurred (-50)." My iPhone isn't even connected to my Mac right now in any form, whether it would be by a lightning cable or wifi.

Same issue that everyone else is having with me, and I'm also upset with Apple. Hardware is superlative, but software keeps going downhill. I'm running OSX 10.9 anditunes 11.4. I've tried every sync fix that may have worked for others, but nothing works for me. iTunes was great in the beginning, but the programmers seem dedicated to cutting its knees off with redesign that is inane instead of intuitive,, dropped feaqures, etc. I even hear the itunes 12 drops the sidebar!! I am getting the clear impression that the itunes group is a dumping ground for the rest of Apple. Fix this sync problem now. At a minum just re-use the code that worked before. N.

Music and Videos Vanished From iPhone 3G - Apps Inactive Too

I turned off and restarted my phone to refresh GPS and afterwards all my music and video were gone. No 3rd party apps will launch. Contacts, Mail, and Safari seem fine. About to sync phone and see if it corrects itself. Wish me luck

Hi,
I restored my phone without a good backup so it's like a new phone again. Had to redo my mail accounts and so forth. Doing sync now to get music, photos, and video back. I will now start keeping my own backups of the iphone backup since time machine does not. I would not enjoy going through this again. I lost my notes and sms history but might be able to get history, least u to 7am, from backup file using an application i use to archive my sms. Hope Apple makes some changes to address this type of problem and adds a verify to it's backup process. You should be able to trust the backup file if you don't get an error message at the end of the backup process. Good luck to other with this problem.

I've had a new hard drive fitted in my laptop and i wanted to know if there is a way that i could tranfer my music and app from my iphone to itunes on the computer?

Yes, the Mac can read NTFS drives, but not write to them.
If you have the drive formatted FAT or exFAt then the Mac can read and write to it. But before formatting, remove the data as it's erased, and format it on the PC as it's easier. Right click on Windows and Format.

Moving your personal data via the external drive is likley the best option, there are other methods like Migration, but they are problematic and take a long time, a drive is simple, fast and direct.

When i plug my ipod up, itunes says it has all the music and videos, but when i unplug it to listen to them, it says it has nothing on it

I just had to reover my Ipod original and now im moving all of my music and videos back onto it, and when i have it plugged into Itunes, everything shows up on the ipod. when i unplug it though, it says i have no videos, music, etc. help? I don't want to lose this thing, it was too expensive.

How can I synchronize the photos and videos on my iphone with my mac mini or macbook pro?

Hello,
I took some pictures and videos with my iphone 4s. Now I want to synchronize them with my mac mini and my macbook pro.
But when I try to sync it via iTunes I can only sync from mac to iphone but not from iphone to mac.
If I import them via iphoto all videos are shown as pics and I cannot play them.
Can anyone help me?

What contents are being deleted if I click "Manually Manage Music and Videos" in my iPhone 4S?

Would it delete all my txt messages, contacts, and notes? I don't mind getting all my apps deleted, but my contacts are very important.

If you sync and you have chosen manually manage music and Videos then only those songs and videos that you have ticked in itunes will be synced to the phone Nothing will happen to contacts notes and apps

When I try to remove music from my iphone by synching only checked items, most of the unchecked items stay on my iPhone
I recently purchased some TV shows for my iPhone using WiiFi. Now I can't get them off my iPhone. I tried transferring purchases from my iPhone. That seemed to work in that they showed up in iTunes and I could uncheck them. But when I unchecked them and synched it didn't remove them from my iPhone. So I've got about 4 GBs of space used on my iPhone by video I don't want.
I'm at the latest version of iTunes and the latest version of iOS.
