Turn off repeat.
This is covered in the manual.

Play the song, tap the screen, tap the repeat icon until it is white= off.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray BEFORE doing the reset.

The music app on my Iphone 5 is acting up, it keeps skipping songs and wont allow the to play. You can see the music icon the on notification bar play and pause. When i go back to the app is states the url is not responding. I have restored it from the backed up cloud save. It is the music app, I played music on pandora and it worked fine. I think it must be the app or the ios.
restore with itunes not from an itunes backup or cloud save they do absolutely nothing only a clean restore will solve your problem

The music app on my Iphone 4S is stuck. It keeps playing that same song over and over. It won't progress to the next song on the playlist on its own, I have to use the next button to move it to the next song manually. The shuffle doesn't work either. I was going to delete it and reinstall it, but I can't even get an x to appear in the corner to delete and reinstall it (perhaps because it came preinstalled on the phone). Anybody have this same problem, or a solution?
If it keeps repeating the same song, then you probably have Repeat activated. See this graphic for the oval arrow to the left.

How do I find the new U2 album on the music app on my iphone? Is there something I need to do to be able to see it ?
Open iTunes app on your phone. go to Purchases. It may be in the more section, (The ellipsis icon over the word More). Tap Purchased. Tap Music. Tap Recent Purchases. Tap the iCloud icon next to the tracks you want to download. On my phone the songs were at the beginning of the list because I haven't purchased anything since it was announced this morning.

I am not able to open the settings icon from my old iPAD. When I try to select the settings icon it looks like it's about to launch and open however; it will not stay open. I am trying to transfer all my data from my old iPAD to my new 4th gen iPAD.
Try a soft reset - press the home and power bottons and keep them pressed until the Apple logo comes on. Then see if you can access Settings.

I'm having similar issues with my phone. I got my first iPhone recently, only had an iPod touch gen4 for a little over a year. Updated to 6.0.2 when we got the phone (iPhone 5) a few days before Christmas. When I got home on the evening of January 11, my phone would not connect the router anymore. I was able to get it to connect after resetting the phone and the router, updating the router, and manually connecting. That laste for a few minutes and then wouldn't work anymore. I live in an area with very limited service, we have a network extender installed to help, and I am barely getting a 3G signal at times.
My wife's iPad 4, my touchiPod 4, and all of our laptops are working just fine on the router. When I dropped my kid off at school today, I noticed that I am not even seeing the school network anymore from the parking lot where before I got 3 or 4 bars and could connect to their wifi when I was there. Today my phone goes back and forth between seeing my home network but not connecting, to not even seeing the network at all even from the same room that the router is in.

So this is annoying me to no end because I just spent $25 to sign up for iTunes Match and so far its wasted my time and given me nothing but a massive headache. This is obviously a major bug on the SERVICE END, not mine.
Starting with an empty iTunes library on my Mac, I began ripping my CDs in iTunes Plus AAC format the other night with the intent of matching & uploading my entire music library into iCloud for streaming & downloading to my iPhone 4S on the go. Simple in theory, right? After some basic tag editing -- changing genres, a simple alteration to a title here, deleting the composer there -- and then updating iTunes Match (Store > Update iTunes Match), I notice I'm getting duplicates of a bunch of my songs appearing on my iPhone. I haven't downloaded anything to the device, they're all just listed with the cloud icon next to them.
So I'm thinking, whatever, I screwed something up. I'm only several CDs into the process so I'll just delete the iTunes library and start over again. Shift + right click, delete everything. Do you want to delete these songs from iCloud as well? Yes. Update iTunes Match. There are 0 songs in iCloud. Okay.
The songs are still showing in my iPhone Music app. Strange. Swipe to delete does nothing, they're not on the device. They're pointing to files in the cloud that are either no longer there or somewhere that I cannot access anymore. Broken aliases. The album artwork still shows up, but playing the songs just kicks me back to the album menu. Navigating to Settings > General > Usage > Music shows me there is no data on the device. 0 bytes.
One thing I notice is that sometimes after syncing a handful of these broken songs will show up in a "Purchased" playlist on my iPhone within the iTunes browser -- I haven't purchased any music from the iTunes store, not one song -- and inspecting them with right click > Get Info reveals them as Stream files, not iTunes Plus AAC files.
Turning iTunes Match off and on again both from within iTunes and on my iPhone does nothing.
Syncing wirelessly or via USB does nothing.
Backing up and restoring my iPhone does nothing.
Double clicking the Home button and quitting the Music process, then opening it again does nothing.
Hard resetting the iPhone does nothing.
This is something that's happening with my Apple ID on the service end, not locally or on the user end. As long as iTunes Match is turned on in my iPhone settings, all of this broken music -- everything I've matched to iCloud and deleted -- shows up. I've done everything within the parameters of proper usage, and iTunes tells me there is nothing in iCloud after it updates but my phone keeps seeing crap that isn't -- or shouldn't be -- there.
I WANT to use iTunes Match, I just paid 25 freaking dollars for it, but its completely busted for me right now and I know ripping and matching some more CDs is just going to make it worse and populate my iPhone with an even bigger broken library. I just ripped and matched one more CD an hour ago without editing any of the tags, just let iTunes Match do its thing, and then after right clicking and following the prompts to delete the 18 songs both from both iTunes AND iCloud its still showing up on my iPhone. Busted like all the others.
Can we please get an update on this as soon as possible? This is driving me nuts and I don't know what else to do.It's a slightly convoluted process.
Disable iTunes Match on your iPhone
Settings > Music > Itunes Match
Now, make sure you've killed the Music app by double-tapping the home button, and deleting the app there where it is running. Important step. The app should not be active.
Next step:
Settings > General > Usage (it takes a while to load) > then delete the Music app there
Power your phone down, and back up again.
Sync your music via iTunes like you always have ...
... and this should fix your problem. -
Swipe to delete doesn't work in the music app on my iPhone
I Am trying to delete songs from my iPhone. When I swipe to delete, a few songs comply with the action, but most (and all of the songs I want to delete) will not allow me to delete them. How can I delete these songs?
I agree with you G-Daddy. I just bought Alpocolypse and it has several music videos at the end. On my iPhone it will play all of the songs and then play the music videos. Not so on the iPad.
Someone will probably make an App for that, if Apple lets it through. -
How can I make it so only my iPhone works on my Apple TV and my daughters iPods will not???
I want to make it so only my iPhone can play music/videos on my Apple TV, but my daughters can stream with the automatic airplay option. My daughters are getting apple tvs for there bedroom tvs so I want there ipod touches to work for there individual tvs only??

Why would you have to go offline to listen to music? Dosn't make sense.
However, you can set the app up to just show you tracks that are actually on the device: Settings app > Music > Show All Muisc [turn OFF] -
My iPhone 4s is recognized by itunes and iphoto however it does not show up in finder under devices.
I don't agree - I have two IMacs and two iPhones - the iPhone 4S show up on one machine, but not the other. They do show that they are charging, and a memory stick will open on the same USB ports. So, I don't think this is how they are "supposed to work"......

I have a few playlists on my iPhone, and when I went into my music app today to listen to them, some tracks didn't play. Others did--but the track that played was NOT the track that was displayed in "Now Playing." I tried to re-sync to resolve the issue, but I'm having the same problem. Any suggestions?
I didn't try reset or restore (resets are easy enough, but restores tend to be kind of extreme solutions for something like this), but I did go back into iTunes, uncheck the "Music" box, and re-sync. Then I checked it again and synced. I'm guessing that a previous wi-fi sync got interrupted, and as a result, the associations between the song information (what displays) and the actual file got out-of-whack somehow.
As near as I can tell, the problem is fixed...

I mistakenly downloaded most of my itunes library to my iphone during a "backup" and I do not want it on my Music app. How do I undo that. Delete all of the Music in that Music APP.......and or better yet, how do I delete that app if possible. Either or Solution will be acceptable and appreciated.
I had done that but the music was still in the App even though where you directed me, which I had already done thinking it would work, said no data. I finally found in itunes after re syncing to "On This iphone" on the top bar the "edit" command, then "slect all", then "delete". It re synced and all is gone. Guess there is a difference slightly from IOS 6 and 7 as that removed the data but not the music itself strangely enough. Thanks for responding.
