My iPod just started to play music at normal volume but the voices are too quiet to hear
If you confirmed it is not due to a problem with the headphones
- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.

This is a semi-new problem, ongoing for several months. I've purchased songs from iTunes before and they play just fine on my Nano when connected to an audio jack cable, but for some reason, anything downloaded in the last few months plays at an insanely low volume. Normally, if I hit the advance button on the Nano to skip to the next song I'll hear a split second of the song at normal volume, but that's it.
I've restored both the iPod and my iTunes (using a Dell laptop, Windows 7) multiple times but to no avail. The songs play fine in iTunes itself, but I've even noticed a decrease in volume when listening to the songs on headphones. I'm beyond frustrated with this as I can't find any support online in the Apple archives, and I can't listen to any of my new music without burning to disc. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!I have, a couple different pairs, unfortunately, and still no change. TBH, the headphones don't bug me nearly as bad as the fact that I can't plug my iPod into a radio or speaker with an audio cable and hear my latest purchases. Drives me crazy that I can't listen to my tunes!

When watching a video with my headphones the volume of speech seams very low even when i adjust volume. The speech also tends to make a humming sound in places. When I listen to music humming is sometimes transmitted, but the volume level is normal. The problem is that when the video is playing i can only hear music and humming with the voice too quiet to hear properly. How can I make both volumes balanced? Also. This happens in all music videos.

Any ideas how to get my software updated on my IPOD 3rd Generation when my computer times out? I have tried several times and it appears to take 30 plus hours. How Frustrating, not to mention the kids are too!
If the iTunes purchases are not in your iTunes library you can redownload them by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If you restore from backup, not that synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup and thus if those items are not in the iTunes library they can't be restored to the iPod during the latter part of the restore process. -

Help! Sometime, the voice is too low for the receiver
Hi, I've found the voice issue of my iPhone: Sometimes, I use my iPhone talking with others, the receivers complains the voice is too low(Especially, serious when it's low battery). I've restarted my iPhone but it doesn't work. It's back to normal after it's fully charged. Do you why? and how to fix it? Thx.
FrankieThe volume via the built-in phone/earphone is no problem. The issue may be the built-in mic, it seems to be too leak for receive the voice, so the others(the receiver) can't hear clearly.

My husband's only way to communicate is with ipad. He now has double-vision. The icons are too small. Is Apple planning on accommodating us boomers and handicapped with a larger icons? Zooming doesn't help because it's not a permanent setting and he can't change it too meet his needs because of limited manual dexterity. I understand and appreciate the desire for consistency, couldn't they make a two or three size option setting. Small, Medium, Large and maybe Xlarge?
Thanks. Tried it. The size of icons is great but now the part of the screen is missing. For example, he likes going into his music app, yes, it was easier for him to see and select, but once in the app he couldn't see the sides, so he couldn't select song without a double-tap to get it out of zoom. I will see if I can arrange his pages so that all icons show. This is a sort of work around. Larger icons would be a better solution. My husbands illness makes him akin to a person with ALS, so his ipad is his prized possession.

Plz help!!!!!!Make at least two complete backups of all your data. Boot from another drive and partition this one as desired. Restore the data.

New versions of Flash have a panel installed on your system for control of settings.
In Windows XP, Windows Start > Settings > Control Panel > Flash Player, click on each tab and change the "Ask..." setting. Most likely your prompts are coming from the "Storage" tab. Using any of the "Block..." settings may make Flash inoperative on some sites.

I have a problem with color prints from photoshop elements 12. The pictures are too light and with strange colors. I have a Canon pixma mg615I0 printer and use mac os X yosemite. The pictures are taken with a coanon eos 550d in the color space sRGB. I have followed adobes recommendations and have tried both letting the printer respektive photoshop manage the colors. But nothing works. I see that there are different opinions about which is best to do so I tried both. I have the latest printer driver installed. Can anyone help me with this?Do the following:
Print a test page from the printer. Perhaps the print head needs cleaning via its maintenance facility.
Let the printer manage colors, not PSE
Calibrate the monitor -
My subs look good in dvdsp but when I burn an example the subs are too high in the frame.All my offsets are 0 and the alignment button is bottom.
Any thoughtsTry creating a new project, and bring in a short clip and one or 2 subtitles and see if you see the same behavior. If you don't, something's probably wonky in the project. If the sample behavior has the same problem, if you want to send it to me with the associated media, I'll take a quick look.
