The Mute Function NOT Working on Conference Calls - Help?

Hi, lately I have been troubled by this problem - when I am conference calls and tap on the mute to put myself on mute so the line stays clear, however, I come to realize that this mute function doesn't work any more, other parties on the line can still hear noises (airport, etc.) from my end. This is very annoying problem and I tried to do some research on the web and can't seem to find any useful fixes to resolve this issue.
Please advise if you have any similar experience. Thanks.

I completely agree. and sometimes its the easiest, simplist things that go wrong with phones. Are you in a position to update to the latest OS? Sounds like a software issue, the update just may very well fix that.

Why does the sum function not work when I try to add a column of decimal numbers? The value is always returned as 0. No problem with whole numbers but decimals do not work!

just bought a MacBook Air and using Numbers to make a spreadsheet for financial purposes. The sum function is working ok for whole numbers but when I try to sum a column of 2 decimal place numbers the result always comes back as 0. Can anyone help?

Hi laura,
I suspect that your 2 decimal place numbers are formatted as text. Change the format of the column to currency and see it that works.
Also You might want to update your profile to reflect your current systems!

If you are editing/testing in the Flash editor, the html end of things is nothing to be concerned about at this stage, and will likely take care of itself when it comes time.
So you run the file in Flash and do not get any error messages? Then place a trace command inside the button's event handler function to see if the button is communicating with it....

Also, I'm just noticing you don't have an actual file named in the url, so in case the "not working" is that you can't get the desired page to show, that may be the cause. Normally I would suggest testing url links online rather than in Flash because it's iffy to try to get the web involved with the editor at times.

I have an iphone 4S and it has been doing crazy things like typing on its own. IT's like someone is shadowing my phone. Also, the left side of the phone keys get frozen, any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. More than likely a failing display. You can try restoring it to see if that helps, but you'll probably have to have the phone replaced. make an appointment at the genius bar.

Why is the tab functionality not working in Responsive layout? I need accessibility for non-mouse users.

I have generated Responsive HTML5 output. The tab key does not do anything. I want users to be able to tab through the topics and expand or collapse the drop-down hotspots. Tab appears to do nothing. If I generate the same content in WebHelp output users can tab between topics and expand/collapse drop-down hotspots. Is there some sort of setting I have to select to get it to work in Responsive HTML5?

This solves the issue of repetatively unplugging and plug back in the wired USB keyboard to the TB display.
Now...if only the Apple support team would acknowledge the problem in the iMac community at large and step up with a hardware / software fix!
Love the TB display......but really...............a non funtioning USB keybord ( apple product ) ???
Maybe they missed the Computer Design & Engineering class that day.....or medicinal marijauna in the valley ?
The support from Apple on this issue reminds me of the 70's video game system ATARI.......The video game PONG comes to mind ....blip....blip....blip.....back and forth with the ball....... And yet we were entertained & amused at the time !

My Creative Fatality Headset, the microphone does not work!! please help

I just received my Creative Fatality Gaming Headset last night, it's not the USB, so it's the straight plug in..And my microphone does not seem to be working, it is detected by my computer as "working" but I can't hear $hit to tell you the truth..I called Tech service a couple times and it was , i notice that a lot of people seem to be sharing the same issue, any help? Palm Pre Headset Functions Not Working after 1.3.1

Anybody else lose the functionality in their headset (pause, skip to next song) after installing 1.3.1?

I too have this headset issue on my Pre.
I have webOSDoctored my Pre back to 1.2.1, and yet the headset still doesnt work on voice calls.
I tested the ##8378# choosing manual test on audio then phone, and this does work. I can hear out of the headset just fine.
This stricks me as odd since testing the audio works but voice calls donot...
I then re-updated to 1.3.1 hoping somthing would magicly work for me again, but nothing. The headset still not working on voice calls.
My last resort is to either get some more ideas on this forum or use my Sprint insurance and get a new Pre... which ever comes first.

Unfortunately, the warranty is NOT international. You will have to send the defective phone to someone in the U.S. and ask them to take it into the Apple Store for replacement, then have them ship it back to you. Apple will not accept the International shipment, nor will they ship a replacement phone out of the country where it has warranty coverage.
There are 4 carriers in Brazil who sell the iPhone, including one which sells it completely unlocked. You probably would have been better off to purchase them there if that's where you live.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
-When it says place the iPod in recovery mode use this program instead of the buttons.
RecBoot: Easy Way to Put iPhone into Recovery Mode
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

What do I do if the superdrive is not working?

It might help if you could give more information. Is it with all disks, some disks, reading, burning, what?
What are you trying to do with your superdrive that is not working?
Also you could look in Disk Utility and see if it shows up.
If your mac is under warranty, you could bring it to the apple store and have them look at it and or replace the drive. If it's not under warranty, you could try replacing it yourself.
Or you could replace it with a SSD.
