The names of the bookmarks in the bookmark toolbar appear twice.

This just started yesterday. On my bookmarks toolbar, the names of each bookmark appear twice. For example, my CNBC bookmark now says CNBC CNBC. All of them have taken on this format. I've tried renaming them, deleting them, removing toolbar and putting it back on, nothing seems to work. They always come back with double names. Any help would be appreciated!

If you only want the names of the bookmarks then export the bookmarks to an HTML file and open that file in Firefox and copy and paste the text (Ctrl +A and Ctrl +C) to a plain text editor like Notepad that doesn't know about HTML code.

It sounds like you are unable to join your network and cannot see it in the Wi-Fi list in Settings. I would try the troubleshooting outlined in this article named:

Be sure you're in range of your Wi-Fi router (access point).
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and on. If your Wi-Fi setting is dimmed, follow these steps.
Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and cable or DSL modem are connected to power, turned on, and connected to the Internet. If not, refer to your network administrator or Internet service provider (ISP) for assistance.
Restart your iOS device.
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and locate the Wi-Fi network to which you're connected.
Tap and Forget this Network.
Try to connect to your desired Wi-Fi network.
Note: You may need to enter your Wi-Fi password again if your network requires one.
Turn your Wi-Fi router off and on2. If your ISP also provides cable or phone service, check with them before attempting this step to avoid interruption of service.
Update your device to the latest version of software.
Update your Wi-Fi router to the latest firmware2. For AirPort Base Stations, install updates using the AirPort Utility.

Thanks for replying again. I've got a little bit further thanks to you. I tried the US keyboard layout as you seemed pretty definte that it should work. This time I applied the setting and also started the language toolbar and selected it from there.
Hey presto, I've got the @ where it should be. Excellent.
However the single quote ' works in a weird way. When I press it, it doesn't show up on the screen. But when I press another key, I get the single quote plus the next key I press. When I press the single quote twice, I get 2 of them. This is also the same with the SHIFT ' key. i.e. for the double quotes.
Very strange. I'll look at other keyboards and see where that gets me.

A process by the name of avgcmgr is loading the CPUs by up to 100 percent. At least 5 of them have appeared on the activity monitor. I've removed them with forced quit but they return! How do I permanently get rid of them? CPUA temp is now 194F.

There are plugins contained in suites such as The Foundry Tinderbox, Digieffects Delirium, Genarts Sapphire and surely even Boris and you can of course by more complex dedicated tools such as Cinelook and Magic Bullet Looks. Every time I try to do an iphoto update I'm always asked to log in with the name I used to purchase the app. Does this mean that I have to purchase the latest update? I thought the updates were free and if it so, how do I actually update iphoto?

DId you Accept the apps when you bought the Mac? In the App Store go to the Purchases List and press Accept there. Then you'll be able to update. If that's not available then you'll need to contact App Store support.

Downloading a pdf file, saving it, won't show the full name of the saving file when the name contains a space, stopping the file name.

Downloading a pdf file, the name of the file contains a space in the middle of the file. The name showing on the 'Save' popup is the first few letters up to the space. Works fine on IE8. For instance, a file named "old snail_12345.pdf" would only show "old" (ignore the "s). This is on Firefox 30.0, WinXP Pro.

Is this a problem when you are viewing the file in Firefox's built-in PDF Viewer and using its download button, or when you are using a download button in a web page?
I've seen this problem occur when the server is pushing a different file name than the actual file name (for example, the file name is pdf.asp?id=12345 but the server is sending the name Annual Report.pdf in the headers sent with the file). I'm not aware of a workaround for the user, but for what it's worth, it is easy to fix on the server by replacing the spaces with %20 (the standard substitution used in web addresses).

Unfortunately, it is not possible to retrieve the deleted data. If you have made the changes to the response and closed the response window; new data must have been saved automatically. In future, if you accidentally overwrite any data; please press ctrl+z to undo the change.

If you mean the label of the form you can do with CTR + Double Click.
Remember not to change the integrity of the database. Is only allowed to user fields
make changes at the level of views, stored procedures, among others, which do not compromise the integrity of
data.
