The new Firefox is now blocking my email. What do I get this corrected?

Today after Firefox updated I have discovered that it is now not allowing me to open my email. When I click on the icon the program does not open

Not sure whether for instance you initially had a Yahoo optimised version of Firefox, and have now overwritten it with an official Mozilla version. Although the Mozilla version should NOT add unwanted features, but the Yahoo version may well do.
If you merely need to find the Yahoo emails page quickly just add it as a bookmark or as a bookmark on the Bookmarks toolbar and make sure that is visible.
Clicking the star icon on the location bar whilst looking at your emails will bookmark the page.

I do not use Yahoo myself,and am not sure what add-ons are available. You could search yourself using

D/l the new firefox / pop up blocked is set, but still getting a lot of them /did not have this with old firefox

If there is an issue with update or permissions the better, quickest and safest way is to download and install firefox:
1. Download with your safari a copy of the latest firefox from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
2. '''''Trash''''' the current Firefox application to do a clean install.
3. Install the version that you have downloaded.
Do not select to remove your personal data, your profile data is stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder], so you won't lose your bookmarks or other personal data.

I had the old version of Firefox, but when offered to download the new version of Firefox, I did so. After the download and the old version being gone, my system informs me that my computer is too old to support the new Firefox. Now I have no Firefox.

I just downloaded the new Java update now Safari is slow and I'm getting the spinning beach ball of death.

Typing in Safari with the new Java update that I downloded today causes the spinning beach ball and slow loading of pages. As usual, Java is causing problems. Just once I would like to see things run without having to depend on Java.

I think there's something more, because it keeps happening to me with the Finder where it says that it is not responding when I go to the Force Quit window.
Are you saying that the Finder is reported as not responding? If yes, try this:
Go to Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.finder.plist
Drag com.apple.finder.plist to desktop
Restart computer.
Monitor to see if anything changes, or Finder is still not responding.

I uninstalled Firefox and now am trying to reinstall and i get this error msg "couldn't load XPCOM.

I uninstalled Mozilla so I could use Internet explorer for a work project. I was unable to access the internet w/IE so I tried to reinstall Mozilla. When I click on the icon I get "couldn't load XPCOM. Some of the other suggestions were to copy the download on this second computer, save to flash drive and then add to pc. How do I download mozilla to a flash drive? Or how can I access the internet if I can't use Mozilla or IE?

Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible, to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.

I downloaded the new Firefox, and now I'm getting all sort of "infected computer" messages and somebody trying to sell me MS Removal Software. I refuse to purchase something that is forced on me and is, in fact, spyware itself.

The question explains itself. I had AVG anti-virus, and now that I've updated Firefox I can't even use that!! I'm pretty pissed and frustrated.

In any case boot from your OS installer disk and run Repair Disk from Disk Uility.

I've used the forerunner of Outlook, MS Entourage, since Jaguar OS 10.2 was the hot Mac OS and never had any issues. Now I have Entourage managing my main mail acount and Apple Mail handling a secondary account and they work fine together.

A drop down option asked if I wanted to click on iTunes share and I did. When I shut off my mac there was none of my downloaded music on my iPod Touch 4. It appears to only play while the mac is on, who wants that. Could someone help get this corrected.

It says it is for iTunes 10, but the same steps apply to iTunes 11.
To turn off sharing:
Choose iTunes > Preferences, and click Sharing.
Deselect “Share my library on my local network.”
